Casual Wednesday

Hey lovelies!

I've been maybe a bit better today when it comes to being sick. I had a logistics fair to go to (thank you school) and then work (also going work tomorrow, the extra shift is absolutely what I needed :D). Not that I'd get a minute for resting until weekend... Yay.

Anyways, I wanted to do an outfit post, though I haven't been my most glamorous self lately. But then again, why not show my dressed down style? (In all fairness, my working place is very factory-like, so it's not really wise to put my best on.) I've ruined many light shirt while working, so why did I have to put a white shirt today? Because it's an old one, so it's okay for it to get all messy.

Okay. So, here's my dressed down work look:

Knit: made by my granny when she was young, Jeans: flea market (Only), T-shirt: GinaTricot, Scarf: flea market, Shoes: Puma, Gloves: Glitter.

Not very ladylike outfit, but totally comfy. It's been cold, windy and rainy again here in Finland, so I figured that I shouldn't ruin my preppier clothes. That knit is a total lifesaver, it's unbelievably warm, I like the colour (which is a bit more brown than the photos claim) and I love the fact it's been worn by my granny and my mom. Also, totally loving the biker-style gloves, they're awesome when driving a car in a cold day like this. :)

Also, I've been up to loads of cooking and planning to cook so many delicious meals. I took a few photos to show you what I've done:

Got the inspiration for this from Emily, the author of the Cupcakes and Cashmere. She posted some quinoa recipe a while ago, and I've been eager to try something like that ever since. So yesterday, I cooked this lovely salad, which is both delicious and easy to make. I'll share the recipe tomorrow ;)

An easy one too, just used my favourite cupcake recipe and switched the regular milk chocolate to one with mint crocant one. They were delicious, and my tribute to the chocolate week ;) (which makes me think maybe I should bake something pink too as it is a national breast cancer awareness month...)

So, there's a little something about my week, I honestly was planning better posts but being sick doesn't quite help with that :D But I keep drinking my tea and eating my veggies, it'll be fine. ;)

How's your week going? :)

I'll be back tomorrow with some food stuff (and more if I have any time), so...

Blog ya later,

xoxo
