Afraid of Heights? I'm Not.

Hey lovelies!

Gosh, the time is flying so fast - too fast. I nearly forgot I was going to post today. But look, I remembered! ;)

So, how is everyone? It's already May, so we can definitely say it's Spring. Isn't that awesome? ♥

I've been stressing myself out for the exams and stuff, but luckily this time next week it's all over. :) I'm also fully enjoying the fact it's finally snowless here, so I can actually think about wrapping up my winter gear for a few months. Yay!

And it's also warm enough to wear Summer clothes. Okay, well, I say warm, and it's like +12 degrees Celsius out there. Not too warm. But I don't get cold that easily, so for me, that's nearly a beach weather, hehe. And I can promise it starts to show on the pictures, I'm dragging my poor fiance out every other day to look for a nice place to take photos on. But this far, he has had almost more fun with the shoots than I do.

God bless him, truly. ♥

So, here's the location we were on the last weekend:

It's a lake near our home, and even though it's still ice-cold (see the remaining ice slush there?), my fiance though it would be great place to take the photos.

I think this lake will be featured in the future as well, since I just love beaches, water and nature as a background. There was others on the lakeside as well, so the shy me got a bit choosy with the photographing place. I don't like audience when I try to look natural in front of the camera, because it's hard enough on its own. But there was a place no one else was too fond of.

Afraid of heights? I'm not.

So I climbed on this half-building-half-ground thing and stated I want to take the photos there. I chose to post this one to show you, well, that I'm not afraid of heights. :D Though I gotta say, that's not high. I'll give you high on some later post. ;)

Okay, so I think most of you would already love to see the outfit already. So, here you have it:

Outfit of the day

Lace skirt: DIY (see here)
White top: H&M
Faux leather jacket: H&M
Ballet flats: Skopunkten
Bracelets: H&M (green and black ones), mom's old (the white one)
Necklace: H&M
Bag: Tunnelin Kenkä

I was trying out the new DIY skirt/dress, and wasn't exactly sure how to style it. After changing my clothes ten times or so, this was what I settled for. The light green tights wasn't part of the plan, but my nude ones broke, so... I had to improvise.

What's your judgement on this look? Yay or nay?

And, how would you style a skirt like this?

This time, my nails weren't exactly a match to this look, but as most of you love this part maybe even more than my clothes...

Manicure of the day

A subtle half-and-half mani with white bows. Very girly, but I admit that I've been so much bitten by the Spring leopard bug that since that photoshoot, I've gone back to a yet another animal print manicure... I think I need new inspiration...

So I'm asking you, my most amazing readers: Is there a pattern, a color (or a combination of colours), or a nail art technique you'd like to see here?

The Summer is coming so I would have the time for some requested nail arts, even tricky ones. :) Let me know!

So... How many of you know of/care about the Eurovision song contest? For those who don't know, it's an annual event that takes place in Europe, in the country whose song has won the contest the previous year. This year, it's held in Baku, Azerbaijan. Not exactly my type of music, but it's such a fun show I tend to watch it every year. More on that in a couple of weeks. ;)

Now, I gotta catch some rest, as I still have two exams this week... Wish me luck! ♥

Have a great day/week, everyone! :)

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Kiitos kommentista! Mulla on ennen aina mennyt vappu töiden takia ohi, joten tänä vuonna olin iloinen et pystyin ottamaan siitä kaiken irti!
