Black Thrifted Skirt

Hello beautiful people!

How are you all? ♥ Did your weekend go well?

Mine was pretty fun, I'm still recovering from the past week, but that doesn't stop the fun, right? ;) We had great food and greater entertainment, and I feel like working - and blogging more - already. I also got my hair dyed on Friday, which was kinda fun. So it's not quite as blonde anymore, but that's something you'll see on the next post. ;)

Anyway, this Sunday was Mothers' Day here in Finland, which I sadly couldn't spend with my mom. But We'll fix that in Summer, I guess. Still, here's flowers for every mother out there - including my dear cousin, who had her first child (such a darling little princess) earlier this week. Being a mother must be a rewarding, yet so hard work, and I truly look up to every mother. One day, if I'm blessed, I'll be a mom as well. ♥

Happy Mothers' Day! ♥

The pictures on today's post were taken a week ago, when the weather was super pretty, but not so warm, so when we headed to the city, I had to put a little something under my new-old skirt. Here's how I styled it:

Skirt: thrifted
Top: H&M
Cropped leather jacket: Vila
Shoes: SoWhat
Leggings: SpiritStore
Necklace: H&M
Rings: GinaTricot, gift (the black one), handmade by mom (the one next to the cocktail ring)

I'm sorry if you grow tired of seeing that cropped jacket so often here, I just happen to love it so much... I'm wearing it nearly every time I go outside, so... It's a key piece in my wardrobe, I got to admit. That skirt was something I bought from a flea market for 3 euros, so it was quite a steal ;) I'm sure I'll find many more interesting ways to wear it later on. The shoes on the other hand are something I've had in my closet for a long time now, but only recently I have fallen in love with them. They're not the easiest pair to walk in, but they sure are pretty. ;)

So, what do you think? And, do you have some key pieces in your closet you find yourself wearing more often than not?

I was also releasing my pre-finals stress by painting my nails. Even though I have been using my Konad stamping set quite frequently, I still manage to fail the leveling of the patterns from time to time. That's exactly what happened with this manicure, but I tried to choose pictures it doesn't show too much... And sorry if there's some mess in them...

Girly colors, lovely pastel yellow and nice pink tone, and some lace print to spice it up. I really need to create a neater version of this soon... What colors should I use then? :)

I guess that's all for now, I continue now with some SATC episodes and a big glass of milk. ;)

Have a lovely start for your week! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo
