How has your weekend started? ♥
I have just today gone through an intense course of cleaning the apartment with my mom - who's visiting with daddy this weekend - and I feel so refreshed by all the throwing out unnecessary trash. Seriously, do you ever stop and think how much clutter an ordinary person has?
I can tell you, it's a lot. I just feel like throwing away half of my closet, two thirds of my other stuff and all my papers. :D Not that it's actually a bad idea... I'll think about it.
I don't know if I've mentioned to anyone of you lot, but this week I've gotten some amazing packages that totally motivate me to clean my closets and drawers. I posted one picture on Instagram about one of them, so the ones following me there might know what I'm talking about. But you haven't seen them all - I'll show them to you on the next post. ;)
Anyway, as it is ridiculously late already, and I need to get up quite early, I gotta keep the talk short today.
Today's outfit is something I wore the day we got back home from celebrating Midsummer, and if I look tired or washed out, that's the hangover - oh no, wait, I mean, staying up at night. ;) Here goes...
Outfit of the day
Mint jeans: Cubus
Leopard print scarf: Mango
Ballet flats: Skopunkten
Stud earring: Gina Tricot
Mint and gold bracelets: Nelly.com
Skull bracelet: Gina Tricot
This was simple, yet some ways classy outfit, I think. It was easy-going enough to travel in, and the scarf made me so happy! I will probably use it a lot when the Fall comes, and the weather gets colder. I found the scarf from Mango at half price, so I had to have it. I rarely get that way with scarves, but there's a first for everything, right? I also added the pink ballet flats for the sake of having more color - it was just one of those days.
So now, it's you're time to judge. What do you think about this outfit? And has there been any accessories you've fallen in love with lately?
At that time, I was also trying something new with nail polish. I hadn't tried out French mani with neon/bright tips, so here's my first ever take on them:
Manicure of the day
I'm sorry for my fingers looking a bit dry in the pictures, it didn't cross my mind to moisturize them before taking pictures - but I try to be more careful with that in the future. ;) And as we are talking about nails here, I could let you know that the 31-day manicure challenge has already reached the third design (yay! :D) and I'm super excited for every upcoming one. I try to plan them ahead a bit just to make them more interesting for you, and not just plain one-colored ones.
I'll start running the designs on the blog as soon as possible, though I do have pictures to post before that.
I hope you will all have a fantastic weekend, do care to share what you're up to, I'll be glad to know!
Blog ya later!
