And That's Who I am pt. 8

Hola my lovelies!

Happy Sunday, and, Happy Mothers' Day as well, to all amazing moms and grannys out there - you rock! ♥

I hope everyone had a nice weekend, I had a weekend without much photographing - first one in a long while - as our friends J and E were visiting us. We had a lot of fun catching up after a year of not seeing each other, watching sports and playing some Mario Kart. Thanks a lot guys, we had a blast! ♥

Today, however, it's time for another That's Who I Am post, and this one is already 8th. So, after this, two more - and then I'll give you all the chance to ask me pretty much anything. I'll consider changing the commenting so that even the ones without Google etc. account could comment and ask things, but we'll see. I don't really need anonymous people bombing me with the unnecessary hate, so...

But anyway, to the post! (Previous parts: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7)

One of my favorite countries when it comes to food - unfortunately I've never been to Mexico, so I probably don't even know the real Mexican kitchen yet. Maybe someday, though!

...and that's why I tend to overdo my looks, and might sometimes resemble a Christmas tree. But I like it that way, so what can you do? :D

Yes, I do believe in forces bigger than us. Everyone can and will always create their life based on the choices they make, but sometimes, there's something bigger guiding us. You can call it God, faith, Universe, Karma, whatever you want, but I believe there's that something. And on the other hand, every decision you make can teach you something, can lead you to meeting someone special, or, well, can make anything happen. But there's a reason for it all, and that's how I see it.

...for so long that people are wondering if we're ever getting married. Yes, we are. Totally. We just want a nice party, and that takes planning and a budget. But as soon as we have that nailed, we're totally doing it. (I've already started to get used to his last name as mine, and I love it!) I shouldn't probably put this down with things that define me, but at the moment it is too big part of my life to not be mentioned.

No news there, I've mentioned my love for snail mail before. ;) Letters are so personal, and I think people should start to write them more.

Well, I don't think this surprises anyone, either. My man is my soul mate, there's no denying. He makes my day every day, he loves me even at my worst (I can be sick, I can have how bad day ever, he still just wants to take me in his arms and make it all better). He's all I want from a man and I feel lucky to have found him so young. ♥

Summer is always too short in Finland, so I always seem to be missing it, lol. I'm happy it's already soon summer again, so I can wear all my summer dresses, shoes and shorts again!

My mama taught me not to, but I still do. When I was younger, I also played with fire in a metaphorical sense, but have gotten wiser since. I always love burning small sticks and stuff when having a lit candle, but so far, haven't caused accidents. :D

To anyone who follows me on Instagram (@silvertigo) this is quite obvious. On a dark, chilly night, there's nothing better than a hot chocolate. (With marshmallows and whipped cream, obviously.)

This shouldn't be news to most of you, but yep, I'm a Finn. Born and bred in here, only lived one year abroad, but certainly hoping to see the world more. For those who don't know, here's few facts about Finland: Finland's capital is Helsinki, which is also the biggest city in the whole country. We're home to many well-known brands, such as Nokia, Rovio (creator of Angry Birds), Moomin, and we usually do well in ice-hockey and motor sports. Our currency is Euro, and the official languages are Finnish and Swedish.

There are also some false facts about Finland, like "they have polar bears as pets/wondering around everywhere/they ride polar bears". Umm... No. We don't. Polar bears don't live in Finland, but there are a couple of zoos where you can spot them. I could cover those sometimes later on, if you'd be interested.

So, that's enough about me this time - but how about you? Any thoughts about this post? Share them in comments! ♥

I'm starting to seriously concentrate on the Norway-Switzerland hockey game on the TV, but I'll come back as soon as I can. And once again, I hope all the moms have had a great Mothers' Day, you deserve it!

Have a lovely day!

Blog ya later,
