Spring Polish Haul ♥

Heya lovelies!

How are you? ♥

I'm so excited to show you some things I got from mail this week. I've been waiting these beauties to arrive for quite some time now (okay, like under two weeks, but I was so impatient), and finally I get to do full Spring looks - including my nails.

So yes, it's another polish haul. If you're fed up with my polish addiction, just wait for the next post. It will be more style related. ;)

As most of you probably know, I'm such a China Glaze girl. I absolutely adore their collections and find their polish names so fabulous and accurate. Also, the quality of the polish is way worth the money - even though they are pretty affordable compared to O.P.I. and Essie.

As the postals to Finland are pretty high usually, I tend to buy not that often, but when I do, I get many. So again this time, I went for eight new polishes. And as you can see, the shades I chose are pretty Spring-appropriate.

Next, let's take a closer look of the colors I bought.

From the Spring 2014 City Flourish collection. Grass Is Lime Greener is a gorgeous pastel green that goes borderline neon in my opinion. Very pretty shade that I absolutely fell in love with when I saw the swatches on nail blogs, and even more so when I got it in my hands. It's a nice change as I tend to hoard mint greens and not so much greens. This will totally make it into my Spring manicures.

From the Summer 2013 Sunsational collection. Highlight Of My Summer is a very pretty shade of mint (I guess) but more green than your traditional mint polish. Like I've seen others describe, it's hard to tell if this is a neon, or just a bright shade. I'm personally still on the fence about that, but I'll let you know if I figure it out later on.

From Spring 2014 City Flourish collection. At Vase Value has been described very difficult to work with due its formula, but as I have a strong addiction for my mint shades I couldn't pass this. This really tries to be a basic light blue, but at least the bottle I got as a minty shade to it. I totally love this a lot and could imagine wearing this very often.

I know many of you are thinking these shades above are just the same, but let me assure you, they're not. You can check out the swatches on the bottom of this post to see for yourselves.

From Spring 2014 City Flourish collection. Metro Pollen-Tin is an adorable shade of yellowish orange, that could probably be counted as a pastel, but really is also borderline neon. I love how bright this one is, and I also love how it is so different than any other shade I own. I could see this being one of my favorites when I just get a hint of a tan worked out.

From Spring 2014 City Flourish collection. Spring In My Step is a very basic baby pink, but as I was indeed missing one from my collection, this was a must-have for me. This is actually the only one of these I got to try on my nails before typing this post, so I can tell you it wasn't as painful to work with as people had said. I got a nice finish with just two not that thick coats and it also dried up reasonably quickly. So all in all, this is a great polish to have.

From the Hunger Games collection. Fast Track is a pretty nude/beige/light brown polish with stunning golden glitter in it. The glitter seems pretty subtle, so I think this would be a great color when you want a bit more glam mani, but you need it to be appropriate everywhere at the same time. This looks very cute in the sunlight, and I can't wait to get to try this in manicures.

From Fall 2012 On The Safari collection. Elephant Walk is a very lovely shade of grey with a silvery shimmer to it. I'm still not quite sure whether I like this a lot or not, but I really can see myself wearing this more towards the Fall. Why buy this now? I have no idea, it just felt like a cool thing to do.

From the Surprise collection. Don't Be A Flake is a very cute mix of light blue, black and kind of holo pink hexagon glitter with a clear base. I absolutely love this combo - and as you know, I have a weakness for glitter polishes altogether. I actually have this one on my nails right now together with the pink seen in this post, and I can't get over how cute that combo is. I can guarantee you will be seeing more of this gorgeous polish!

Swatches:

Below you can see how each polish looks on a nail. Though, there's a bit of a flash to each pic, so they appear lighter than they really are. I tried to make the pictures as accurate as I could, though.

The focus was out of place with the last one, and I must correct that the pink glitter in Don't Be A Flake is actually more pink and cute than the photo suggests. I will be providing more pics pretty soon though, as I created a mani with this glittery goodness just today.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul, please let me know what you think of this below in the comments. ♥ Also, I would like to know what color your nails are today?

Now, this girl needs to get some sleep as in the morning, it's time for the Malaysian GP qualifying session in F1, and naturally I (the sports fan that I am) will be up early to watch it. I hope I will get nice posts for you guys this weekend, but even when I'm not writing here, you can always find me on Instagram (@silvertigo). Follow me there for many moments that don't make it into this blog, and also for the blog updates!

Have a fabulous day ♥
