Pre-Independence Day Feelings

Hey lovelies,

How was your weekend? Mine was just great. And it's kind of still going on as I don't have school 'til Thursday, though I got to get to work today.

Has everyone already entered the Christmas Giveaway? There's still plenty of time to enter, so go on and do it! ;)

Tomorrow it's independence day here in Finland, and that means it'sday off for everyone. I like that! I'll be making quite a traditional Finnish food, elk (or moose, however) roast. And that'll make a great food post. Promise. Also, we'll be making a gingerbread house - I already bought a ton of stuff for decorating it ;) I just need to make the dough today.

Will you be baking gingerbread thingys this Christmas?

I've also wrapped a ton of presents, for Christmas and for our friends' house warming ;) Can't tell more just yet, due some of the receivers actually read this blog, too...  But maybe later!

Okay, maybe I'll just move on to the more interesting part:

Dress: H&M, Tights: From my mom, Boots: Andiamo, Bangles: Nelly.com, Feather earrings: H&M, Pearls: From a relative.

Like it? I know I did ;) I usually don't like to pose sitting down, as it doesn't bring out the best of the clothes, but my fiancé wanted to play a studio photographer, so...

Speaking of my fiancé, he finally got over his dislike of being photographed for public, so with any luck, I'll be featuring him in this week's posts. Some day, at least ;) So you get to see the wonderful man behind me, love of my life, my best friend and my trusted photographer. And to hear about our little love story.

I know I haven't shared too much about my private life, but as I love to know about other bloggers' lives, I thought there might be also people on my readers who's like to know something about mine. So stay tuned for that!

But now, I must dash to the lovely pile of dishes waiting for me in the kitchen... Love the days off, they're always so full off household work... :P

Anyways, blog ya later!

(That is, after Independence day.)

xoxo
