New Favorite Skirt

Hey lovelies!

How was the weekend for you all? ♥

I had loads of fun, being out with the boys, enjoying sun, music, drinks and way too many people in a tiny street. I'll get the pictures ready for you later. ;) At the moment we're watching the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie (my fiance wants to see them all properly now that I bought them as a video game...), and I'm laughing so much at Jack Sparrow, he's definitely one of my favorite movie characters. :D

I'll keep my blabbering short today, I basically just wanted to show you an outfit I wore a week ago, including my favorite skirt I received from OASAP that Friday. The skirt is a definite favorite now, and I can tell I'll be buying more from them, probably very soon, even.

I wore the outfit for a little day trip we had with my parents to a little cheese factory called Juustoportti, which is located about 2-hour drive away from Tampere. As I've gotten my passion for good food from my parents, it was only logical we made a trip there. There were lots and lots of delicious things to buy, and it was quite hard to choose the ones we wanted.

There were an exquisite selection of cheeses...

...jams, curds...

...and candy. There was also lots of other food-related things, but there were so many people I didn't feel like photographing everything.

There was also the factory's own ice cream, which was a bit pricey but definitely worth it. ;)

We had a lot of fun at the trip, and will definitely make more of them - and I'll be posting them here, hehe. But now, let's move to the superficial things, shall we?

Great. :D

Outfit of the day

Skirt: OASAP (shop this item here)
Lace back tee: Gina Tricot
Ballet flats: Skopunkten
Necklace: Gina Tricot
Coral bracelets: Accessorize
Gold bracelets: Nelly.com
Skull bracelet: Gina Tricot
Feather earrings: H&M

I decided to balance out the girliness of the skirt pairing it with the rock chic tee, and I think the combination was really fun. And it was a great way to dress this chic skirt down, as it could be quite festive otherwise. (or  maybe it's just my opinion :D) I totally loved the jewelry I wore here, they all represent my current taste in accessories so well. Those ballet flats are something I seem to wear everywhere at the moment, so much so that they've streched out a bit.

That's what you get from buying super affordable shoes, I guess.

Now, your thoughts. How do you like this outfit?

You know what? Today, I again have two manicures to show you. I'm continuing the series of challenge manicures, and now it's time for number 3 and 4. Enjoy!

31-day manicure challenge

#3 Yellow nails

There are some colors I feel weird doing a manicure with. One of them is definitely yellow. I'm not sure why I feel so weird with this sunny, happy color, but I just do. Luckily I came up with a style I was quite comfy with.

Some of the rhinestones had unfortunately fallen of by the time I took the photos (oops!), but luckily they don't look that bad. I happened to think about tigers when painting my nails, and it just came to me after that. Kinda cool, right?

#4 Green nails

This challenge truly makes me realize the shades missing from my nail polish collection, and a real green one is one of those. So I had to figure out a mint green one - it was as close to green as I could do.

I'm apparently having a hard time of letting go of the animal prints... I promise that after this there will be other prints as well. :D (and yes, if you wanna request any pattern of whatever, leave a comment ;))

So, what do you think? Were the designs nailed at any level at all?

Now, I'll get back to watching the movie with the love of my life, but I'll get back as an eager reader of your blogs right after that. ;)

Have a lovely start for your week, everyone! ♥

Blog ya later!

xoxo

Johanna

  11. Moi ihana,

    Kiitos viesteistäsi.

Oot viettänyt ilmeisen mukavantuntuista elämää viime aikoina. :) Kiva kuulla.

Rakastuin sun kynsiin.

:) Seuraavaa kuvapostausta odotellessa ;)
