Pori Jazz 2012

Hi lovelies,

How are you all today? ♥

I just had such a fun weekend, with bowling and unexpected bar tour... And Pirates of the Caribbean, again. :D

What were you doing this past weekend?

Today, I'm going to share photos from week ago, when I was spending the Saturday with the boys in Pori. Like mentioned, there is this annual Pori Jazz festival (not so much jazz anymore, but the name is so well-known, so...), and during it, this little street next to a river transforms into a little bazaar, with many (overpriced) food stands, small bars, dancefloors, cafés, etc. The items and such weren't that interesting, so I didn't do much of the shopping, but our point was rather enjoy the atmosphere, music and few drinks.

And here is some pictures for you, to see what it looked like through my eyes.

Not really related to the event, but I loved the architecture of this building - and the way the light was hitting it, too.

My favorite stand, with fudge! That was the only place I bought something from.

Slushies... ♥ If it would've been cheaper, I would've had one. I love them!

I had never been to Pori Jazz before, but something tells me I might go next year again. I enjoy the Pori in Summer so much, when people actually are out and about, and the sunlight makes everything prettier than usual. The one thing I should share with you about this little town is its gorgeous beach Yyteri, which is one of the longest in Europe (as unbelievable as it sounds to me). I hope we will make a trip there soon, so I can show the beauty of it to you as well. :)

I was hanging around in flats and simple, girly outfit. As the day was full of walking, and it was a bit windy, I had to have a comfy outfit - and yet something that looked cute and girly - so this is what I threw on:

Outfit of the day

Top: Gina Tricot
Skirt: thrifted
Bike short leggings: Gina Tricot
Ballet flats: Skopunkten
Bag: Mango
Metallic feather necklace: Vila
Skull rosary necklace: Gina Tricot
Bracelet: Bijou Brigitte

This is an outfit I could actually wear to many places - and I apologize for the inside photos, we had a terrible weather when taking the photos. My love for the Mango bag is growing and growing, it is absolutely gorgeous, and I love how it looks nearly as good as the super expensive ones, and it didn't even break my budget. It also holds amazing amount of stuff if needed, so it's perfect for me. I also love that skirt, it was an amazing thrift find, and it has shown it's versatility many, many times already :) Can't wait to mix it with Fall fashion, I'm sure it'll look amazing with then as well. :)

What do you think about the look? ♥

Manicure challenge

#6 Violet nails

With these nails, I tried to go with classic and girly, while still making it colorful. I couldn't resist adding a statement nail into the mix, and this is what I came up with:

The light doesn't do much of a favor for the glitter here, but I hope you get the idea. These were kinda fun, and I just might make a pink version of these after the challenge is over. I've done three manicures already after this one (I'm sure my nails thank me a lot... oops.), and I hope you'll like them when I post them. (They can already be seen on Instagram, if you happen to be interested.)

Do you like this manicure? What's the latest nail art you've done? (Leave a link, I'm more than happy to see!)

Some of you may have already noticed that I recently created a Lookbook account. Please leave a comment to my profile, so I can find you all there as well - my nick is Silvertigo. ;)

How many social platforms can one person be on? Apparently, too many. :D

Anyways, I gotta go now and do some grocery shopping... But I'll be back soon, can't wait to read the posts from you I haven't been able to read this weekend! (And I have some comments to answer to, so if you're waiting for my answer, don't worry, I'll handle them after groceries ;))

Hope you'll have a fabulous week! ♥

Blog ya later!

xoxo
