Sheer Leopard (and what I bought from Hki)

Hi lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

My week has started quite busy as usual with school stuff, work, and even being sick. I hate the end of Winter/the start of Spring as I always manage to get sick then. Well, it might be just my lack of vitamins (I know mom, I should go buy some) every year this time. Nevertheless, I'm trying my best to keep up with everything and trying to remember everything in time, which is getting remarkably easier now that are home is nearly complete.

And yes, I will try to make a post as soon as I can. We're still adjusting things, but I think I could make a little update next weekend. Stay tuned!

Anyway, today's post is including the rest of the photos from our trip to Helsinki. That means food, outfit, and shopping.

The second day of our trip we decided to spend with my fiance's friend J and his fiancee M. I hadn't met either of them ever before, so I was a little nervous how it would go. But I was in for a more than great surprise as they were both most fun people I have met in a while! (To my friends: no, that's not an insult to you, I just haven't met new exciting people in a while. You I already know to be fabulous and fun ;))

We spent a good while in their apartment just talking about everything and getting to know each other, and then headed to grab something to eat. We went to a restaurant called Martina, which I had never been into, but which M convinced me was a nice place. And she was totally right on that one. Above, you can see the Citrus Chicken I ordered - totally mouthwatering - and below is my fiance's meal.

A nice beefy steak with veggies and garlic potatoes - which I assume was amazing as well, but didn't realize to get a bite out of.

After eating, the four of us parted ways as we headed back to shopping, and they had tickets to a hockey game. In the evening, we drove back home, and only then it occurred to me to take the outfit pictures. So, this was what I wore last Thursday (notice our fancy new curtains, lol!):

I was keeping it pretty basic, and at the same time wearing the leopard shirt for the very first time. I have been unsure about how to pair this piece, but it seems I finally found one way.

Yep, going crazy. Most of these never end up to the blog because I tend to have too idiotic faces, and that would simply scare all the children away. This one, on the other hand, was nice - and it kinda gives me ideas for future "photo shoots".

Now, there must be some readers out there who are curious to see my haul from the trip. I gotta say, I found more than I expected, and it's still not that much. Just some pieces that would help my wardrobe into the direction I would love to see it in.

First up, a bag from Mango. Some of you might notice it's close to the light brown/beige one I got last Summer, so you can tell I love bags like this. I only bought this one as I didn't have a black everyday bag as it was. Sounds unbelievable, but it is true.

Pink star umbrella, Mango. Just to brighten up rainy days, and it's a handy size.

Faux leather jacket, H&M. I was craving for a nude/off-white pleather blazer with gold accents, and happened to stumble into a perfect one in H&M. Can't wait to have a warmer weather so I can start wearing this!

Blazer, H&M. Picture doesn't give a correct color, but this was also a key piece that was missing from my wardrobe. I would call the color either off-white or even powder pink, but let's debate on that once I get better pictures, shall we?

Cross bracelet and earrings, BikBok. I stepped into BikBok for the first time ever in my life, and after everyone fussing about it so much, I thought it would be way too awesome. But like with most clothing stores nowadays, I wasn't that hyped when I saw it myself. The clothes were all nice, and there wasn't anything wrong with the accessorizes either, but somehow nothing else than these two really tickled my fancy. Maybe next time, though?

So here's all I have for this time, and now, I really need head to bed to get some much needed sleep.

I hope you're all having an amazing week! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Johanna
