Leo vs. Dry Brush

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

I had my pre-wedding hairdresser today and I kinda did something different to my hair to honor that. You can check the pictures on my social media, and there you can also let me know how you like it. That is actually the last thing I needed to complete before the wedding day, so I can use the rest couple of days for relaxing. Kinda nice situation for a bride, isn't it?

Today, I wanted to share two new nail designs with you. I'm still pretty into my neons, so these two are quite colorful again.

First up is this leo print with glitter accent nails. I liked the idea of gradient made out of the leopard spots. So I did that and just tried to match the glitter nails to that.

I think this one turned out very well, and to me the colors seem to go pretty well together. Hope you like it too!

Polishes I used were China Glaze Glow With The Flow (pink), Red-Y To Rave (red), Home Sweet House Music (orange), Daisy Know My Name (yellow) and Liquid Leather (black). The glitter topper is China Glaze Point Me To The Party. I used a dotting tool to paint the spots.

Next one is done with a technique I have never used before, but decided to try now because neons. This is dry brush technique, and like its name tells, you use very dry brush to paint the strokes on the nail. You swipe the brush nearly clean and dry with the help of paper, if needed to get this kind of distressed finish to the nails.

I was actually way more into these nails than I believed, and could have taken a ton of pics of these. Of course, that wouldn't be too beneficial for you readers, so I tried to choose the best five to show you here.

The polishes used were all by China Glaze and the shades are called Glow With The Flow, Red-Y To Rave, DJ Blue My Mind, Liquid Leather and White On White as a base. This doesn't require any special tools, all you need to do is keep the brush dry enough. The patterns can be as random as you like.

That's it for today, and I hope you guys enjoyed this post at least half as much as I enjoyed painting these designs.

Let me know your thoughts about these designs in the comments below!

Now, I'm heading to other commitments, but I'll be back tomorrow with a beauty related post. Stay tuned for that, and if you want to see wedding stuff or my #julybeautychallenge, head to my social media channels and say hi!

Have a fabulous day, dolls ♥
