Grey ♥

Hi everyone!

How are you all? ♥

I can't believe I haven't been writing here after Friday - don't worry, I'm not going to stop blogging or anything, I've just been busy. Like today, when I had doctor's appointment, then had to re-install our TV set and then in the afternoon, I had to take our car to the tire shop to get the summer tires in. And that's just today. Such crazy schedules. I'm actually now just about to hit the road again to go to my work shift - in 15 minutes, to be exact - so I seem to have such limited time for blogging world. Which is too bad because I truly miss it.

However, the day after tomorrow is luckily a day off, so I can finally go through the Easter pics and post them here. Now, as for today, I simply wanted to show you this outfit I wore a while back, and thought it'd be a nice thing to share here. So, without further blabbering, here we go:

 photo DSC07917Large.jpg

A simple outfit with little hints of mint to it to make it not so boring. I'm once again overusing my fave bag here, which actually needs to be fixed as I broke it for the second time. Yeah, you heard me, I've already fixed it once because I wear it so, so much.

 photo DSC07996Large.jpg photo DSC07955Large.jpg photo DSC07989Large.jpg photo DSC07969Large.jpg photo DSC08008Large.jpg photo DSC07979Large.jpg

Jeans: Gina Tricot Jacket: H&M Knit: Mango Scarf: gift from dad Sneakers: Boohoo Earrings: Gina Tricot Rings: Nelly.com, H&M, Born Pretty Store

So, that kind of a look this time. I hope you liked this one, and I hope I'll have time to blog more tomorrow. But now, I must dash so I won't be late for work!

Please let me know what you think about this look in the comments below!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Born Pretty Store Thingies ♥

Hello everyone!

How are you all? ♥

Once again the week has gone by incredibly fast, and I can't believe I haven't blogged after Monday. Well, technically, after Thursday, as I wrote the posts for the weekend beforehand. Anyway, I'm back now, and today I really just wanted to share some goodies I got this week from Born Pretty Store. There's more than just nail things, so don't worry, you can keep reading, haha.

 photo DSC08430Large.jpg

So this is the pile of stuff I got, I decided to try out the surprise bags once again so there's some items I couldn't predict at all. Also, I had some things for the giveaway I'll be hosting after we hit the 300 GFC readers - which I will only show once the giveaway is up. I've got many nice things for it, so definitely stay tuned for that. Hopefully we'll hit the number soon.

Okay, you probably want to see the items now, right? Let's do that.

 photo DSC08432Large.jpg

So first up, we have these temporary tattoos with cute bird design. I'm so indecisive I really can't pick a real tattoo and be sure I'm happy with it forever, and therefore it's better for me to stick with these ones for now. But aren't they cute?

 photo DSC08433Large.jpg

A hairband, the telephone wire type I've been dying to try out. I wish it was pink, though.

 photo DSC08436Large.jpg

Random jewelry from a surprise bag, I love them!

 photo DSC08435Large.jpg

Neon stickers for nails - perfection for summer manicures!

 photo DSC08439Large.jpg

Fiercely long nail tips, which I might try out for a photo shoot or such, but don't know yet. Also from a surprise box as I don't buy these on my own.

 photo DSC08441Large.jpg

Cute baby pink press-on nails. Another thing I didn't know I was getting, but I would definitely use these for a week when my nails need to be without nail polish.

 photo DSC08445Large.jpg

Random nail charms, all of them are pretty adorable.

 photo DSC08447Large.jpg

Black bows for nails - I have these on white as well, and I figured the black ones would be a great addition.

 photo DSC08448Large.jpg

A striping tape. Because there's never too many. Except when there is.

 photo DSC08452Large.jpg

And last, but definitely not least, pastel studs! You all know how much I love studs on anything, so these were the perfect thing to go with my new pastel nail polishes.

So, what do you think about my little haul? ♥

Remember, if you wanna go and get any of these items - or something else - from the Born Pretty store, grab the discount code JVNT10 and use it at the checkout to get 10% off of your purchase.

Now, I gotta get going with the evening snack, but I'll be back soon, hopefully with the Easter pictures!

Have a lovely day ♥

Street-Ready ♥

Hello everyone!

Has your Easter been great so far? ♥

I'm so happy it's a 4-day weekend, we've had such a great chance to relax and hang out with loved ones. But as I still am not back at my laptop, here's a post I wrote for you beforehand on Thursday. It's just an outfit I wore a couple of weeks back, again such a tomboy look, but you know, that's me.

 photo DSC07830Large.jpg
 photo DSC07856Large.jpg

I absolutely love the pink accessories I got a while back from Boohoo.com. They're just perfect for spring and summer looks. Because the bright pink is just the perfect color.

 photo DSC07881Large.jpg photo DSC07838Large.jpg

And yes, I'm still the most awkward model ever.

 photo DSC07873Large.jpg photo DSC07845Large.jpg

Jeans: Gina Tricot
Sweatshirt: Gina Tricot
Jacket: H&M
Bag: Boohoo
Sneakers: Boohoo
Beanie: Boohoo
Sunglasses: Boohoo
Earrings: Bik Bok

So that kind of a look. A tad of hipster in it, even. I think I look like a teenager though, even if many teenagers nowadays dress up more grownup than I do. Well, hell.

Anyways, I'll get back to you very soon this week with another post. What will it be about? We shall see. I hope to get to the weekend highlights first, but we'll see what the beginning of the week brings.

What do you all think about this look? ♥

Now, time to say bye for a brief moment, see ya soon though!

Have a fab day ♥

Tmart Goodies Review ♥

Hey you all!

How are you today? Having a fun Easter? ♥

Today we're visiting friends and seeing their 14 weeks old puppy for the first time, which is super exciting as we would love to have a dog of our own soon. But for now, we must settle for seeing friends' dogs. I will probably have some pictures up later on from that meeting.

Anyway, today's point is actually to talk a bit about some goodies that I received from Tmart.com as a part of cooperation. In this post, I will show two designs I've already done with them, and in the end I will talk a bit about the goodies themselves.

So, let's get started with the designs, shall we?

 photo DSC07504Large.jpg

First up is this little lilac number I created when my parents were visiting us. I really wasn't sure what I was doing, I just wanted to try out the fimos for the first time ever. So if these seem a bit like a mess, that's why.

 photo DSC07507Large.jpg photo DSC07513Large.jpg

I chose to use white butterflies with a little lilac in them, and also some blue/lilac flowers to match the mani. I still need to learn a thing or two about placing the fimos neatly, but thanks to this cooperation, I finally have a chance for it.

 photo DSC07520Large.jpg

The polishes I used here were China Glaze Sweet Hook and China Glaze Fairy Dust. The rhinestone stickers are so old I can't even figure out where I got them.

 photo DSC07526Large.jpg

And then to the other one:

 photo DSC07802Large.jpg

With this one I went very summery, as I really, really just wanted to make watermelon nails. This is also something I've never really tried before, and I actually tried to create something without seeing any inspiration pics. I kinda really liked these, though I'm really more for a bit more simple nails at the moment. But I guess during summer I might actually do more these fruit designs.

 photo DSC07805Large.jpg photo DSC07808Large.jpg

I tried to sort of create a peel pattern on my thumbs with green polishes and a toothpick. I kind of think that went pretty well, despite the fact it's not that realistic looking.

 photo DSC07811Large.jpg

The polishes I used were China Glaze The Grass Is Lime Greener, China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, China Glaze Surfin' For Boys, Essie Licorice, China Glaze I'm With Lifeguard and L'Oreal Color Riche Green Couture.

 photo DSC07817Large.jpg

And lastly, I want to give you a bit closer look of the fimos.

 photo DSC08201Large.jpg

I sincerely want to thank Tmart.com for sending me these, I've been wanting to try out fimos for a long time, but haven't dared to buy them. Tmart.com also sells lots of cool tech stuff and such, so you might want to check them out.

Enough advertising? Alrighty then. Let's just continue with the fimos.

 photo DSC08204Large.jpg

So I got 8 wheels, each of the containing 12 different designs, and all of them more or less categorized a bit. The designs are super cute, at least to my eye, and you all know how much I love cute stuff, right? I got these cute hearts, pretty little butterflies...

 photo DSC08206Large.jpg

...beautiful flowers, fun smilies...

 photo DSC08208Large.jpg

...adorable animals, sweet leaves...

 photo DSC08211Large.jpg

...more beautiful flowers and deliciously cute fruit.

These fimos were nice and pretty thin, I've heard some companies sending out too thick ones, and obviously they don't stick well enough then, but these seemed pretty reasonable to handle. There weren't many broken ones and the wheels weren't too messed up, even though some pieces had jumped in the neighbor slots. And of course the variety in this pack is pretty awesome, most of these are something I will probably be using sooner or later. I will have to practice using them, so that I will get them to lay nice and smooth on the nails, at least somewhat so, but I would still say these are pretty easy to use. And they are a fun little addition to your regular mani.

Also, I wanna give a big shoutout to how fast I got the items, it only took few days, even if they were sent from US to Finland, which usually takes some time.

Would I recommend getting these fimos? Sure, if you're a nail enthusiast like me (you can browse their nail art stuff here: Tmart Nail Art Decorations. Would I recommend Tmart.com? Probably yes, at least for me, things went smoothly. And the prices on things are totally reasonable. I might go on and order some tech stuff there later on, and I will let you know how that works out for me.

If you are a blogger and are interested in doing a review for this product, please contact: cheneyaustin82@yahoo.com.

What do you guys think about these manicures? Have you ever used fimos, and if so, how did it work out for you?

Okay, so that's all I have for you today, I hope you enjoyed this post. The next post will be up on Monday, and it will be another outfit post, so stay tuned for that. Also, you can follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram for frequent updates on randomness that doesn't make it to the blog. You can find the links on the top of the right sidebar.

Hope you're all having a great weekend, I can't wait to share the highlights of mine with you next week!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Spring Pastels ♥

Hey babes!

How are you all? ♥

Today I've been busy with writing some posts ready for you in case you need something to read during the weekend. Also, I need to make a checklist for tomorrow (yeah, I know, it's a bit neurotic) and choose my clothes. Not to mention I need to tidy up the place a bit so I can actually relax while we're visiting people.

Today, I wanted to come and share this little makeup look with you, I've been loving the pastel eye makeup lately a lot, so I figured I should show you the look I've been wearing lately. If you're on Instagram, you might have seen some of it before already. Also, if you'd rather see an outfit, do visit the previous post for that.

 photo DSC07769Large.jpg

So, this is it, pretty fresh, not having like a plenty of color to it and stuff, and also the lips are pretty light pink. Nothing too crazy. But I've felt this is pretty girly, so I thought some of you might enjoy this.

 photo DSC07771Large.jpg photo DSC07780Large.jpg photo DSC07781Large.jpg

These pics don't probably show it well enough, but what I had on was very light lilac in the inner corner of the lid, baby blue in the middle, and light green on the crease and outer corner (there where you'd put the dark color if you'd do more classic look). Also, I used lilac eyeliner to line my lower lash line, and liquid liner for the winged liner. As you can totally tell, I was trying to use some false lashes, but as I had very, very poor quality glue, they didn't stick as well as they shoud've. Well, you live and you learn, right?

 photo DSC07775Large.jpg

For the lips I just went for this cute baby pink lipstick, followed by some nude gloss. Nothing that exciting, but I didn't want to ruin the look by going crazy with the lips.

So, for a change, a bit of a makeup post.

Would you like to see more makeup stuff here, like review, swatches, my favorite lists, recommendations, tutorials...? Let me know, I'd like to know what you think ♥

I will go now, and try to get as many things as possible ready before work. I wanna wish you all Happy Easter, or whatever holiday you may be celebrating this weekend. There will be a couple of posts even if I'm not sitting at the computer at all this weekend, so stay tuned and check them out if you have some free time. ;)

Have a fantastic weekend, lovelies! ♥

Slashed leggings ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

It's incredible how time has been flying the past few days, I was supposed to open the laptop many times and start typing, but yet I haven't. However today, as I am prepping for the Easter - planning outfits, buying some food, checking schedules - I found a little time to sit down and write a post. I also need to write one or two posts for the weekend, as I will not be reaching the computer that much. We will be visiting friends and family the whole weekend, and I don't wanna miss a thing because of technology.

What plans do you have for the Easter weekend? Do you celebrate Easter, or some other holiday right now? Let me know in the comments!

Anyway, today I wanted to share this look with you, that I built around the "slashed leggings" I bought a while ago from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC07694Large-1.jpg photo DSC07763Large.jpg photo DSC07687Large.jpg

I usually don't wear leggings as pants, but with long knits, I guess it's kind of acceptable. I really, really love these leggings and can't wait to rock them more.

 photo DSC07739Large.jpg photo DSC07679Large.jpg photo DSC07755Large.jpg

Mix & match in both nails and accessories. If you want to see more pictures of these nails, see this post (click!).

Leggings: Born Pretty Store
Jacket: H&M
Tiger shirt: SammyDress
Sneakers: Boohoo
Sunglasses: Boohoo
Necklaces: Gina Tricot
Rings: JC, SpiritStore

I wanted something simple and casual, but still bring some street style to it, and that's why I added the girly jacket and rings. I guess this type of outfits will be my uniform this weekend, as we are having casual Easter instead of celebrating big. Not that we'd usually celebrate that big, it's more of a family holiday for us. This is also pretty much the way I like to dress now that the weather is getting warmer - before I get to wear shorts, skirts and dresses properly, that is.

What do you think about this look, and what are you wearing today? ♥

Now, I need to head out to get some exercise, after which I still have a ton of things to do before work. Who knew it's so serious business to get ready for holidays? Anyways, I will not entirely abandon the blog for the weekend, I will have scheduled posts for you, and I will try to reply to the comments as much as I can. You can always reach me through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, even if I'm not writing stuff so actively, and I will probably take snapshots with my phone along the way and share them on those three platforms. So get social and follow me on those, I will usually try to return the favor.

But now, I gotta dash!

Have a fabulous day ♥
