How to Pack 6-day Trip in Carry-On Luggage

Today I'm wanting to write about something I'm not an expert in, but I figured someone out there might get some use out of this. I'm sharing how I packed for a 6-day trip in the middle of winter with just carry-on luggage and one personal item. And let me be honest, it was challenging.

Visiting Stockholm

It's been a while since my last post, but it's because I've been preparing for next month and the life change it'll bring. I'll talk about it more once things are happening, but I can tell you it's exciting. And I also give sneak peeks on my Instagram (@silvertigo) if you're curious to see stuff beforehand. On top of that, the heat in Finland has stopped me from thinking straight so writing hasn't been a good idea. Today, I finally decided to share pics from our trip to Stockholm, which took place at the end of June.

Montreal Diaries: Sloths, Flowers and Italian Food

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been keeping quite busy with work and life lately - like yesterday when I had to reorganize my closet after 10pm - so I'm sorry for not having had enough focus on the writing. I've been quite an active instablogger though, so if you want to see more of me, Instagram is the way to go (I'm @silvertigo there, and so into posting to the stories section - so much more me than Snapchat, not that I hate SC in any way, shape or form).

Today, I'm eager to share our adventure in the Montreal Biodome and its surroundings.

Montreal Diaries: Landscapes and Raccoons

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ See, it didn't take me two weeks to get back to blogging. I'm improving little by little. Hopefully soon we can also get to the more normal and regular posts because they are so much faster to edit and post than the travel ones. For me at least.

Today, I'm taking you to Mount Royal and the surroundings. So hop on and let's get to it!

Montreal Diaries: Race Day Moments

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥ This summer I've been such a lazy blogger, not really photographing my outfits too much and also not having the willpower to sit in front of a computer on my free time. But I'm getting so itchy about writing that I have to really start blogging more. And taken how the weather has been lately, it's easier to get a grip and write a little something.

Today, we will continue the Montreal trip. There will be few more posts about it, and I hope you will like them. But don't worry, we'll get back to regular posts pretty soon too. And I've been working on some future posts too so that there will be something a bit new.

But like I said, today we can go through new Montreal pics and you can get a bit of an idea what the race day was like.

Montreal Diaries: Plateau, Racing and Gluten Free Yummies

Hello my darlings! How are you? ♥ I'm sorry it's been a while since my last post, but I couldn't get myself to sit down and put enough effort into a worthwhile post. And also, I've been insanely hooked into Pokemon Go. These past couple of weeks have been quite crazy, I've been busy at work, I've been walking like crazy after pokemons, our car broke down again and last weekend we were at the cabin with guys. But today, I really needed to sit down, type a little something and get peace of mind.

So, today I'm sharing more shots from our Montreal trip - not entirely in chronological order, but close enough. This post is quite photo heavy, so grab a snack and scroll on!

Montreal Diaries: Snapshots Around Isle Notre Dame

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been focusing on family and work for the few days, but today I'm bringing you the next edition of Montreal Diaries. Today, I take you with us to watch a bit of qualifying but also to explore the island where the F1 race is held every year.

Montreal Diaries: Meeting F1 Drivers

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've had quite a week at work with learning new things and so on, and have been too tired to really build up a proper blog post. I was meaning to post this yesterday, but wanted to write proper content so I figured it's better to be a day late and have some thought here than just post pics and be sloppy with it. I think you'll all agree.

Today, I will share our adventures from the Open Pit Lane day, which usually falls on Thursday on a F1 weekend. So, follow us around below:

Montreal Diaries: Exploring Saint-Denis & Downtown

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ It's been too long since my last post, and I've been missing you quite a bit. Last week went by in jet lag and getting back to work mode, and this week I've been busy editing the pictures and all that so that's where I've been. But if you follow me on Instagram, you have seen me being alive and well.

And no, I'm not going anywhere, this was just a break that was needed right now. Today, I'm showing you first pictures from Montreal. These are little bit in a random order maybe, but they show you what we saw on the first full day in Canada:

We're Going To...

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ It's 7 days until the takeoff to our trip, and I'm finally having the time to sit down and tell you where we're going next week. So, without further ado, let's get to it:

Snapshots from Amusement Park

Hey lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

As the Autumn is fully here (and October, yay!), I think it's appropriate to say goodbye summer through these pics from the trip me and the boys did to the amusement park Powerpark last month. I really don't have many words to describe the pics, but we had tons of fun out there. I hope the pics can tell you at least some of that.

This ride was pretty darn scary. The dragon tower. It goes super high up and comes down as free fall. Scary as heck, I was literally shaking few minutes after this, when usually none of the rides give me any chills at all.

DSC00053 (Large)DSC00054 (Large)DSC00055 (Large)DSC00056 (Large)

All but one in the same shot, and I'm looking like my dwarf self next to boys. The photo was taken by our bestman J, thanks a bunch for it dear! As you can see, it was quite a fun day out, though we didn't take nearly enough group shots (boys, we totally need to do that!). But I got to drive go-kart against them, and even though I'm not too good at it, I beat my own expectation. Sadly, I didn't get any shots from there, but I can tell I rocked the oversized overalls.

What fun memories do you have from this summer? Tell me in the comments below!

I'm gonna hit the bed now, but I'll be back quite soon with another post. In the meantime, you can stay tuned with me in social media, where I post a lot of updates (especially on Instagram) between the posts. See you all soon!

Have a fantastic day ♥

Midsummer Weekend

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

I had a great workout today, and I feel more energized than before this week. So I figured I should post a little something for you, and then go clean the apartment a bit. Today, I'm sharing pictures from our midsummer weekend, when we were hanging out with my parents on our little lake house.

I love grilled anything. Especially sausages. I know, I'm so feminine.

Gotta love the lake view!

Classic game. And yes, that's how a Finnish darts looks like.

And more grilling because why not. Long weekends are for eating.

Below, you can see one of my outfits for the weekend. I don't usually dress too fancy for cabin and such, but I wore this for the day we went to the city to meet our friends.

Skirt: secondhand Top: Gina Tricot/DIY Denim vest: New Yorker, studs added by me Aviators: H&M Necklace: Gin Tricot Bracelets: KappAhl, Gina Tricot, gift from friend Rings: H&M, Gina Tricot, Born Pretty Store Boots: SpiritStore

I absolutely loved this look. Like said, it's not necessarily beach material, or for cabin life, but for the city trip I loved it. That denim vest will be used so, so much in the future because I truly love it. I found it on sale at New Yorker, and just added studs on the shoulders to make it a bit more edgy.

And lastly, some view pics from the way home. I love how Finnish summer looks on sunny days (which we have had like 7 or something during this summer). I love the places near our summer home, and can't wait to go there later this summer with the boys.

Have you had any fun summer adventures this summer? And, what did you think about the little outfit? Let me know in the comments!

Now, I will go do some household chores so we can be happily married in a neat home. I will be back tomorrow with another post, and before that I will be reading some of your posts, because I haven't had enough time for that lately.

Remember that I still have #julybeautychallenge going on on Instagram, and I think I will do some other one next month. Maybe even another beauty challenge, who knows. But anyway, follow me on social media to keep up with more stuff than what makes it into the blog! (That means Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat) See you soon!

Have a lovely day ♥

Helsinki Adventures

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

We've had our wedding party today, but I didn't want to leave you without a post so I wrote this beforehand so you'd have something to read if you're having some free time this weekend. Today, I'm telling you a bit about our day in Helsinki last month.

Like you might have seen in social media, we had a little adventure in Korkeasaari zoo with our friends. It's been a while since we went there, so it was nice to be back.

And this time, we took a boat!

This magnificent birdie was walking free in the zoo, which is pretty awesome. And it didn't even attack me even though I was kinda close with my camera. Below, some of my favorite photos from the trip.

This little fella came to say hi up close through the glass.

And this big kitty also came close to see people. Tigers are so gorgeous, I really wish we people can make them not be so extinct or endangered in the future.

DSC07891 (Large)

My inner Jack Sparrow really wants to borrow that boat!

And below, my outfit for that day, shot in a horrible light but it was such a nice outfit I really wanted to share it here.

DSC07896 (Large)DSC07903 (Large)DSC07909 (Large)DSC07927 (Large)DSC07899 (Large)DSC07931 (Large)DSC07918 (Large)

Plaid shirt: secondhand Top: H&M Shorts: Gina Tricot Tights: ASOS Sneakers: Boohoo Scarf: gift from my parents(?) Earrings: Gina Tricot Ear cuff: gift from my parents Bracelets: H&M, gift from a friend Necklace: Gina Tricot Rings: Gina Tricot, H&M, eBay

Had a kind of edgy look that day, it was sunny and warm so the shorts were totally appropriate - but the plaid had to play an accessory when it was the hottest time of the day because long sleeves were just too much. But this look also worked with the shirt around waist so that's cool. (Sadly I don't have a picture of that for you.

What do you guys think about the look (or the other pics)? Let me know in the comments!

That's all for you today, I hope you're having an amazing weekend! Our party and other fun things can be seen on my social media channels today and later on as well, and I'm hoping I can create some sort of a post about the wedding later on as well. See you tomorrow or on Monday the latest here in the blog.

Have a fantastic weekend, I love you all ♥

Let's be friends in IG!
