January Sales Finds ♥

Hello everyone!

How are you all? ♥

I'm finally having some time to sit down and catch up with you, which is pretty awesome to be honest. It's yet again one of those weeks when I don't seem to be having enough hours in a day, especially when I try to get enough sleep to get through it all. Thank goodness it's getting more and more sunny every day, so it's easier to stay energetic. Today I'm functioning (aka staying awake) on caffeine and sugar and I literally feel it being bad for my body. I probably should know better at this age but... Yeah.

Today, I really wanted to share my sales finds from this month with you. It's not too, too much, but taken my budget it's quite a nice haul. Next month, I'm planning to go through my closet, get rid of items I don't need, and if I shop for something (meaning clothes or accessories) it will be only in flea markets. I could even do a post about shopping from flea markets and thrift stores if you guys would care for that. But, without further ado, to the haul:

DSC04584 (Large)

Cute set of three necklaces. I feel these could be worn all at ones, in pairs or alone -and combined with other items I have in my jewelry box. I thought these were super adorable, and taken their original price was way over 10 Euros, I got a good deal on them.

DSC04588 (Large)

Set of 10 rings. I feel these will get a ton of wear out of them once the weather get warm enough to actually show the fingers more than now. They would also be a cool detail in nail art shots. For a 20 Euros worthy product, the price was more than decent.

DSC04581 (Large)

Cross bracelet, simply because one can't have too many. Nothing more to add there.

DSC04577 (Large)

Triangle shape, tassels, silver color and necklace in one? Umm, yes please! True to my style, this is a long one, and I got it practically free so that's all just win, right?

DSC04574 (Large)

Beautifully detailed ring for some spring/summer looks I've been planning. I love the combination of gold and turquoise here!

DSC04573 (Large)

Snake ring, as I've seen these all over Instagram and wanted something similar on budget. Score!

DSC04571 (Large)

Snake theme continues on the earring set, which I actually bought for the big graphic ones, but the snakes were an added bonus.

DSC04568 (Large)

So, did I mention I bought rings? I feel this got a bit out of hand. (Pun intended.)

DSC04564 (Large)

...and why only get gold when you can get silver as well. I think I'm planning to have an armor on my fingers the next six months or more. There's no other reasonable explanation to this addiction.

DSC04560 (Large)

Sports top in cute colors. I'm totally feeling this one as I need to get back on track with my workout routine. Nice clothes help with that. (Says the girl working out alone at home where no one ever sees my gear. Yeah, the logic is solid there, right?)

DSC04558 (Large)

Striped tee as I need to freshen up my basics a bit. This is a good one to start with. Black and white, lovely stripe print, and the unique looking "worn out" material. I love this tee, and I'm actually wearing it at the moment.

DSC04556 (Large)

Pleather pants with elastic waist. I think these might be as comfy as leather pieces get. Even if these are faux leather, but still. I love the color here a lot, and as the spring approaches, I'm craving for new leather items so these were a must.

DSC04552 (Large)

And last but not least, leopard print jeans, subtly in all-black. I really like the fabric here, even though it is an animal print item, it's pretty safe to wear as it is all in one color. So I think these totally work even in office, where I will hopefully be working soon enough (as I have to do an internship for my studies this summer).

What do you guys think about these finds, and have you had good ones yourself this month? Let me know in the comments below!

Now I'm finally done with all the stuff I had planned for today, and I can go get the good night's sleep I definitely need. Only two days to go before the weekend, and thankfully next week will be a bit easier than this one. I think. But I'll be back tomorrow with another post, so stay tuned for that!

Have a fantastic day, dolls ♥

Marble vs. Saran Wrap ♥

Hello lovelies!

How was your weekend? ♥

I've spent mine relaxing and having a nice time home. The week had me so exhausted that I simply needed to take the weekend off and pretty much sleep it out. Sounds more extreme than it is, so don't be alarmed. I just needed the weekend badly. I'm still super hyped about school things, and it actually seems that everything is working out quite nicely even though few days ago I was sure things would collapse hard. I will have a super busy spring. so if I sometimes go off radar, I'm just working for school. But I will always come back for you. Or, for me, as I do love the blogging as a way to vent my thoughts - because I can think the lovely positive things in life when I write here.

Like today, when I have a couple of nail art designs to show you. Here I am trying two techniques that are both fairly new to me.

DSC04451 (Large)

First up is a blue water marble - first water marble in a super long time actually. I was a bit scared to try that out as last ones had been such a fail, but I found great tips for doing it so I decided to give it a try. And it went okay. I still need to practice a lot to master the water marble, but now I have an idea what to do.

DSC04462 (Large)DSC04456 (Large)

The polishes I used for the mani were by China Glaze: White On White (the base under the marbling), One Track Mind, Capacity To See Beyond and Five Rules. The rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC04452 (Large)

I really quite liked wearing the marble after such a long time, and I am confident I will be trying this again pretty soon. And then, I try not to dent the nails like I did here. I'll report back once I have the time to try this.

DSC04458 (Large)DSC04533 (Large)

The other new thing I was trying this month was the saran wrap technique. For those who don't know, it's the technique where you use plastic wrap to create texture on your nails. It's very easy, and actually looks quite cool.

DSC04549 (Large)DSC04547 (Large)

The polishes I used for these, were by China Glaze: Feel The Breeze, Escaping Reality and Float On. The black rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC04538 (Large)

I really loved the texture this technique gives, so I'm sure this is also something I will be doing more this spring. I think this would look amazing with green shades, so I think I will try that once I'm done with Valentine's Day nails next month.

DSC04543 (Large)

So what do you guys think about these designs? Have you tried these techniques? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, I'm going to do my nails and catch up with my favorite series. And maybe read the latest Cosmopolitan (Finland) where I was lucky to be featured in with one photo. Thank you guys, that rocks! With that in mind, I will be able to pull through this week and then it's already February. So cool. I really can't wait for it to be spring already, I have so many outfit ideas for warmer weather.

Have a great start for the new week ♥

First Plaid of the Year ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

I enjoyed sleeping in this morning, and after some chores, I thought it's time to blog a little. And for once, in appropriate hours, haha. Today I wanted to share this look from some days ago, when I  went very purple with my look.

Coat: Rukka Jeans: Gina Tricot/DIY Scarf: a gift from my dad Plaid shirt: from my mom Top: Primark Necklace: Gina Tricot Ring: H&M

I really liked how this look was a bit different. I could've done more grunge kind of makeup and shown you also the combat boots I wore, but I promise you that later this year you will be seeing few more this kind of things on the way. And don't worry, I had tights underneath so I didn't get cold.

What do you guys think about this look?

I'm going to go finish a knitting project now, but I'll talk to you soon darlings!

Have a lovely day ♥

Pizza Day ♥

Hello everyone!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been wrapping my head around school stuff for most of the day, and I still need to finish an essay, but I figured I could come and write this little post for you before that. I wanna tell you about one of my new favorite treats, gluten free pizza.

DSC04677 (Large)

I make my pizzas with gluten free flour mix that's made for pizzas, and it makes one big or two smaller ones. I top mine with tomato puree, cheese, tuna, pineapple and pepperoni. I also add oregano and sometimes add fresh arugula on top of the hot pizza.

DSC04679 (Large)

The flour mix only requires little water and oil, and then it can be mixed into a dough. After that it's ready to be made into a pizza.

DSC04681 (Large)DSC04682 (Large)
DSC04684 (Large)

15 to 20 minutes of baking, and fresh goodies are ready to eat. Also, see how my oven needs cleaning? I guess I have a task for the weekend.

DSC04690 (Large)

I love adding some salad on top of my pizza - not just because I can pretend it's more healthy, but because it tastes and looks better with it. Here I'm using fresh arugula to perfect my meal (wouldn't dream of using any other salad though, but you could use whatever you fancy).

Bonus Tip

DSC04687 (Large)

If you use pineapple (or any other fruit) to top your pizza, you can use the leftovers to make a delicious and healthy infused water. I made mine into a pineapple and kiwi one, and it was fantastic. I must say I've become a bit addicted to these and could drink them all day every day. I can't wait to try these with fresh berries in the summer.

I really hope you liked this post, and if you have any ideas or wishes for recipes, let me know in the comments so that I can try them out and let you know what I think.

Now I have to get back to my essay, but luckily it's weekend tomorrow so I have more time to blog and do related stuff for a couple of days. I have so, so much to post for you, I just need to find the time to write it all into posts. Hopefully you are at least half as excited as I am. Talk to you again tomorrow!

Have a fabulous day you all ♥

Starry vs. Glitter ♥

Hello my darlings!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been spending a lovely day at home today with my marketing homework and fruit infused water (which is my new favorite think to have between meals), which has been pretty nice. Kinda like having a new weekend right after Monday. Who wouldn't like that?

So today, I wanted to show you these two nail designs I did earlier this month. I'm daring to say I've been more inspired than before with nail art so hopefully I can produce some nice ones for you to see. But let's get to business, shall we?

DSC04375 (Large)

First up is kind of my NYE mani, but since I wore it more this month, I figured it's 2015 mani already. I really liked the sparkle and the gradient there quite a bit, and I guess it's safe to say this at least kind of looks like a themed mani.

DSC04395 (Large)DSC04391 (Large)

I gotta say that there's just something about the multicolored glitter that I love so, so much! They can make such a cool effect to a design.

DSC04399 (Large)

The polishes I used for these nails were China Glaze White On White, Grape Pop, Dune Our Thing, One Track Mind, Meet Me Under The Stars and Dancing & Prancing. The star studs are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC04383 (Large)DSC04412 (Large)

The other design is much more light and very simple. I wanted to try out something different but didn't really have the time to do wonders. So I went for this glitter mix n match and quite liked it. Especially the way the gold glitter looks with the blue,

DSC04422 (Large)DSC04425 (Large)

Apologies for the little crackles you may see in the white, I didn't have the time to photo these before the matte top coat made it's mark after over a day's wear. I have no clue what I'm doing wrong there, but if I figure it out, I will share the info.

DSC04427 (Large)

The polishes I used for these nails were China Glaze White On White, Capacity To See Beyond, Don't Be A Flake and Essie Summit Of Style.

DSC04418 (Large)

So there you have it, two nail art designs for today. I'm hoping you guys liked these, but I can promise there are better ones to come fairly soon. If you want to get sneak peeks, just follow my social media accounts for more.

Let me know what you think about these nails in the comments below!

Now, it's time for me to go relax and have a hot beverage with a TV show before bed, and tomorrow, I will be writing yet another essay for the whole damn day. Hopefully the hard spring semester will bring plenty of positive results, as I feel kinda very stressed by the work load already. But tomorrow is also pizza day for me, and I will post something about it this week. Yay for food posts?

Have a lovely day you all ♥

Burgundy Leather ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

I've had a fun start to my weekend with my fiance, and have got the relaxation I desperately needed after stressing out a lot about things in school and all. Now everything feels little bit clearer and doable, so my confidence is back where it should be. The project we have in school is getting more and more interesting every week, and I feel pretty blessed I get to be in it.

Today, I wanted to share this little outfit I wore about a week ago. I loved the items in it, but was a little bummed I had to wear a coat over it while taking the pics.

collage (Large)collage2 (Large)DSC04498 (Large)collage1 (Large)

Pants: H&M Boots: Skobox Coat: Rukka Denim shirt: Lee Cooper Tee: second hand Scarf: Cubus Rings: H&M Necklace: H&M

So there you go, a casual look I wore to school and later on weekend when the pics were taken. I really liked wearing this, the pants are unbelievably comfortable and I liked the denim shirt with it. I should have taken pictures without the thick coat, but it seriously was cold so I thought I'd better stay warm and avoid getting sick. I really wish for warmer days with more daylight time, as it makes all the difference for blogging.

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, I'm gonna get some sleep so that I can get some of the next week's homework done tomorrow after a good night's rest. I should read a book about marketing and whip up an essay about it before Friday night, so I better get going with it right away. Seriously I have no idea how I'm going to manage all my essays this spring. It will take a lot of planning together with all my other life.

Tomorrow I do try to post you another little thing, if my schedule doesn't get too crazy. But talk to you soon whether it's tomorrow or on Monday!

Have a great weekend ♥

Candy Crafting ♥

Hello darlings!

How are you all today? ❤

Yesterday I finally got many things sorted with both of my laptops - which is why I didn't have the time to blog. Today, I've been very much stuck with my management essay,  which is due tomorrow  morning so I'm getting it sorted tonight. Luckily that doesn't have to be long, but rather all facts and useful information, so I can write something proper in few hours. And if that isn't enough, I have another one due next Friday. And here I was thinking we are learning to do things here rather than just reading a ton of books. Wrong.

Anyway, today I really wanted to share a little crafting post with you. I saw these through some blogs and YouTube and really wanted to try them out.

DSC04429 (Large)

What am I talking about? Well, about these Japanese candy making sets. They're called Kracie Popin' Cookin', and there are many cute sets to choose from. I bought three of them, and in this post I'm telling you how the bento one worked for me. It sure looks cute and all!

DSC04430 (Large)

My first concern was seeing the instructions - which were all in Japanese. As I don't know the language, it was kinda hard to tell what they said. Luckily I had seen this been made in a video, so I had at least a tiniest idea of what I needed to do. But, for the sake of experimenting, I didn't watch it again for making this.

DSC04432 (Large)DSC04433 (Large)

So I got the decorations fixed, but then...

DSC04434 (Large)

There were a big pile of different colored packs. Again, absolutely no idea which is which, but at least they were kinda clearly color-coded. So off we go.

DSC04435 (Large)

Then began the mixing. The insides of the bags needed to be mixed with some water so that they would turn into candies.

DSC04438 (Large)

...and yes, these are candies. Little different looking than I'm used to. But surely they will taste good.

DSC04439 (Large)
DSC04440 (Large)

The rice candies had very different texture to them, which was pretty interesting.

DSC04444 (Large)

And the finished product looks like this. I'm pretty proud of it, even though it's not half as pretty as the one in front of the box. Was it tasty? Well, the tastes were different than what I'm used to, but eatable. The black "frosting" was the best part of the whole thing, sour and tasty. All in all I think it's worth of the few euros it costs, especially if you would either do one with a friend or a child, or if you would make it into a friendly contest of who can make a prettier one. I would totally recommend this!

Have you guys ever tried these? What did you think? Let me know down below ♥

Now, I'm gonna go get the essay finished, and then some quality time with my man before bed. Tomorrow is another fun project day, and I can't wait to see what we'll do there. Tomorrow, I will finally be posting some outfit pics, so I hope that will be something for you to wait for.

Have a fantastic day, you all!
