Glam Up with Anjolee

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been pretty swamped with everything, especially because of the upcoming wedding and the fact I actually need six to nine hours of sleep every day. So if I'm MIA for a couple of days from the blogosphere, I'm just sorting out my wedding. So no need to worry.

And as I'm all about weddings, what better idea than to talk a bit about girly jewelry? Today I'm teaming up with Anjolee to show you some of my current favorites in their collection. These would be perfect accessories for weddings and other fancy events, and I would definitely wear their jewelry for special occasions if I had the chance. All the pictures borrowed from their website, so big thanks for Anjolee for letting me use them for the post!

First up some gorgeous bracelets I found browsing their site. Especially the third one is right up my alley, as you can probably believe if you're a long-time reader here. I love how sparkly they all look, and I can only imagine how stunning they are in real life.

Next up are some earrings. Can you guess my favorite?

Yes, the bottom right on it is. Although they are probably all very flashy, I can definitely name the journey earrings my favorite. They look like a perfect match to a gorgeous evening gown. Definitely even red carpet material.

Then, some necklaces. Although I'm an avid fan of long necklaces, these sophisticated ones did caught my eye while browsing the site. Especially the top one looks like something I would wear on a special occasion, I love the design a lot.

Last but not least, wedding rings. I have mine picked out (I'll show that to you closer to the wedding), but I still love browsing the options. The thing I like about Anjolee's selection is that they have these adorable matching sets of engagement and wedding rings. That's cool because it makes sure your two rings are actually made for each other - like husbands and wives, right? These four sets definitely caught my eye the most, and my absolute favorite here is the first one. It reminds me of my own set of rings (though mine, in real life, aren't completely matching, just close enough) and I could see that in my finger if I didn't have ones already.

If you like how these precious things look, I recommend you to check out Anjolee's site. Their jewelry can be customized to your taste, they offer different metals and jewels, though the option differ from design to design. Like I said, I'm personally very fond of their wedding ring sets (click the link to see more of them) and I'm sure there are some of you reading this that enjoy their jewelry as well.

What is your dream wedding ring like? Let me know in the comments!

Now this bride-to-be needs to hop in the shower and get to bed so I have the energy to face tomorrow and the new challenges. On Saturday, it's time for my bachelorette party, and I'm super excited to see what the girls have come up with. Also, tomorrow I'm starting the #junebeautychallenge on Instagram, so tag along there if you're into beauty related things. Let's do it together!

Have a fabulous week ♥

Red, Black, White

Hello my darlings!

How is your weekend going? ♥

I'm currently on the road, but I wanted to share an outfit post with you so that you can have something to read even though I'm offline. (well, or at least away from my laptop)

Today's post includes an outfit that I wore a little while back, and it's definitely one of my favorites for this summer.

The color scheme is something I personally love about this look. I don't care too much for real hats (just beanies), but with this look I think it works. I love how that kind of hats look on other people, but they don't seem that right for me. Also, can you believe the leggings cost only 2 Euros? That's like getting them for free.

Let me know what you think about this look in the comments below!

That's all for you today, but if you insist on seeing more stuff, follow me on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and/or Snapchat for all the random stuff on the way. I'll see you all tomorrow with another post, so stay tuned for that.

Have an amazing day ♥

Stripes vs. Chevron

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

We're headed to a trip today again, which is kinda exciting - although a quiet weekend home would be soon very much needed. But in the summer, it's nice to travel around and see places and people. At least most of the time, anyway. After a week, it's time for my bachelorette party which I'm both excited and terrified about, because I'm absolutely clueless about things. Luckily girls promised to tell me what kind of clothes to bring along - at least. I promise to get some pics here and there for you to see from that night.

Also, if you'd like to see a sneak peek of my wedding dress, please let me know in the comments. If you follow me on social media, you might have seen something already. ;)

Today, however, I'd like to talk to you about nails. I have two designs that I actually really liked, even though the techniques might need some perfecting. But you can be the judge of that.

DSC07126 (Large)

The first designs has stripes and roses in it, and I tried to use colors I normally wouldn't use or pair together. I think the combo of peach and navy is actually pretty nice, and I guess I could definitely do another one with them later this year.

DSC07146 (Large)

I really like painting rose prints, and pairing them the classic way with stripes and polka dots felt right. I tried to do sneak peek stripes with my natural nails showing through, but I feel the result was a bit messy. I liked the idea though - and maybe could create a lovely one with more practice.

DSC07136 (Large)DSC07140 (Large)

The polishes I used were  China Glaze White On White, One Track Mind and Be More Pacific, and Rimmel London Peachella. With the stripes I used striping tape as a guide, dots are made with dotting tool and for the details of the roses I used a thin nail art brush. All my tools are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC07130 (Large)DSC07312 (Large)

Next is a teal/light blue design I happened to make just before attending to a fair to represent the company I have my internship in. I used kind of perfect colours for the fair stand, which was cool because I didn't consiously plan that at all.

DSC07320 (Large)

I liked this skittle design kinda lot, and I really think I shoud do these more often. And I definitely should use chevron more (mental note: order more chevron nail vinyls), because it looks so cute on accent nails.

DSC07317 (Large)DSC07306 (Large)

The polishes I used were China Glaze Capacity To See Beyond and Mosaic Madness. The blue shimmer on the chevron is from Gina Tricot. The black rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store and for the chevron print I used Nail Vinyls.

DSC07329 (Large)
I think both of these manis were pretty nice, but once again I'd like to hear from you:

What do you think about these nails? Let me know in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, but we will see again tomorrow in another post. Also, you can follow me on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat) where I share stuff that doesn't show on the blog. And also, you will be updated every time there's a new blog post out. So see you there as well! You can leave likes and comments everywhere so I can check out your accounts as well, I always look for more inspiring accounts to follow.

Have a fabulous weekend you guys ♥

It's A Romper Thing

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

Yesterday flew by super quickly, and I didn't even have the time to blog. Crazy. But I'm here today, and I really wanted to share an outfit post with you. Fair warning, I have few more pics than usually because I loved so many of them. Won't be a habit though!

DSC07262 (Large)DSC07273 (Large)DSC07277 (Large)DSC07248 (Large)DSC07269 (Large)DSC07247 (Large)DSC07280 (Large)DSC07284 (Large)DSC07287 (Large)

Another one from a bit a colder days, but this would've been appropriate on the past few days. I really like that romper, although I don't wear it too often because I don't know how to style it. This time, I opted for layering, and it's up to you how I did with that.

So, let me know what you think about this look in the comments below!

Now, I'm going for a late night errand, but I think I will see you again tomorrow. In the meantime, you can tag along in social media channels to see all sorts of random stuff from my life.

Have a fantastic day ♥

Homemade Fudge Treat

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I'm actually pretty excited even though it's Monday, because today I finally found my wedding dress! A little sneak peek will follow later, once I have all my accessories picked out. I love the dress a lot, and as you can see on Instagram, it's not the most traditional color.

Okay, so since I need to stay in shape because of my dress (and confidence as well), I won't be eating too much sugary treats before wedding. But, since it is Monday and at least here the weather is what it is, others may want treat recipes for movie nights or parties or such. So here is something I tested out a while back and loved a lot.

Candy Bar Fudge (recipe from here)

½ cup butter
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
3 ½ cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
30 individually wrapped caramels, unwrapped
1 tablespoon water
2 cups salted peanuts
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup milk chocolate chips

  1. Grease an 8x8 inch square baking pan.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, cocoa powder, brown sugar and milk. Microwave until mixture boils. Stir in confectioners' sugar and vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave caramels and water until caramels melt. Stir in peanuts. Spread mixture over chocolate layer.
  4. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine semisweet and milk chocolate chips; microwave until melted. Spread over caramel layer. Chill for 2 hours, or until firm.

It's a simple recipe, it's gluten free when you choose the ingredients right, and the end result is super delicious. I recommend trying this one out now if not sooner.

What is your favorite fudge recipe? Share yours in the comments!

This is my quick little post for this Monday, tomorrow I will be back with another outfit post, so stay tuned for that. And if you want more, check out my social media for behind the scenes stuff and more.

Have a fabulous week ♥

Stripes with Plaid

Hello lovelies!

I hope you are having a great Saturday!

I'm still enjoying the cabin life, which is so relaxing and fun - as you might have noticed if you follow me on social media. I've been enjoying the time with loved ones without the laptop, because that is something I get to do too much (for it to be healthy) at work anyway. So this is so good for me!

Today, I have a quick little outfit post for you, and I hope you guys like it.

Dress: secondhand from friend Cardigan: Seppälä Bow belt: Mango Tights: H&M Shoes: Puma Earrings: from a friend Necklace: Gina Tricot Bracelet: Gina Tricot Rings: Gina Tricot, H&M

So it's a black and white look with mixed prints and only a few accessories. I really liked this look, even though it's nt very typical for me. But it was fun as a casual one for school. The dress is such a gem, one of my school friends was cleaning out her closets a long time ago and asked us others to look through if there are items we'd like. I happened to love this dress and adopted it from her.

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, that's all I have for you today, but I'll talk to you again tomorrow or on Monday the latest. In the meantime you can tag along on our trip on social media, and if you do, I try to check you out too, just leave a like or comment or something like that so I know you've been there!

Have a fantastic day ♥

Blue-green vs. Aztec

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I'm on a trip right now, but I figured that since many of you don't have extended holiday now as we do in Finland, I should schedule you a couple of posts even though I'm not on my laptop at the moment.

Today, I think it's time to talk about nails again, just for the sake of weekend. Maybe you can get inspired?

DSC07044 (Large)

First up is this blue-green design, which worked well in theory, but my rusty stamping skills kinda dulled it out for me.

DSC07060 (Large)DSC07050 (Large)

Despite the lack of neatness, I really liked the color combo and all, so it wasn't a complete fail. But I'd like to try this again just to get it right.

DSC07065 (Large)

The colors I used were China Glaze White On White, Wait N' Sea, I'm With The Lifeguard and Smoke And Ashes. Studs and the used stamping plate are all from Born Pretty Store.

DSC07055 (Large)DSC07072 (Large)

And on to another stamping fail. On these nails I was trying to create these cool summer print with my new large stamping plate, but as I am lacking the skill a lot, the results were... this. I need to practice a lot more, but on these nails I didn't mind it too much that the pattern is a bit off.

DSC07090 (Large)DSC07082 (Large)

Again, I was loving the colors a lot even if the stamping is what it is. I think the neon gradient looks way cool on summer nails.

DSC07088 (Large)

The colors I used were China Glaze Sun Of A Peach, Surfin' For Boys, X-Ta-Sea and White On White. The stamping pattern is from a Born Pretty Store plate BP-L010.

DSC07078 (Large)

So that's what I have for you today, not my greatest nail moments, but I guess still worth sharing as an inspiration. I personally will try to tackle these later this year, so we'll see whether I can actually make them worth showing.

What do you guys think about these nails? Let me know in the comments!

I will try to check out the comments and some blogs on the trip, but probably I'll be more active on the social media, so for a couple of days, let's interact there more!

Have a great weekend ♥
