My Current Favorite Clothing Pieces (Alternative Style Version)

Hey, my lovelies,

Today I wanted to share some a little style update with you. As you know, my style has gotten more alternative as time has gone by. I am slowly decluttering the blog a bit so not all my tragic outfits will be there for everyone to see, but you can still see bits of the very basic style I used to have. Don't get me wrong, being "basic" is not a bad thing at all, if that's where you're comfortable and feeling true to yourself, but if you're like me and pushing yourself into a box you don't really belong in, "basic" really isn't all that great.

Embracing alternative fashion (to me) is all about expressing my individuality and pushing the boundaries of traditional style. In the past few years, I've curated a collection of clothing pieces that perfectly embody my personal take on alternative fashion. These pieces have become key elements in my day-to-day look, from bold statement items to edgy wardrobe staples. If you're into alternative style and looking for fresh inspiration, keep reading to discover the clothing pieces I love in 2025.

25 Things I Want To Do In 2025

Hello, my lovelies!

I would assume most might have forgotten who I am, which is fair after pulling a disappearing act for two years. But after re-evaluating things I want to do in life, and what has made me happy in the past, I figured coming back to blogging (even if it might just be for my own amusement and no one read it) would be quite fun. After all, I've been getting back into hobbies that would give me at least something moderately interesting to write about - like reading, knitting, tarot cards, crystals, collecting herbs, taking aesthetic photos...

I'm sure all that (not to mention nails, makeup, and outfits that never went away) will give me something to say that would resonate at least with some people.

If not, this will be just like a very public journal—like it used to be.

Coming back has been brewing in my mind for a hot minute now - for almost a year, I'd say. But figuring out what the hell I'd say after such a while felt like a massive challenge. After mulling over that for months, I just thought I'd post whatever my silly heart desires - no one is paying me to do this, so the only expectations come from myself (which, coming from a sort of a perfectionist, means the bar was unreasonably high).

But that made me think: Expectations... Why not just start off light, and write a little list of things I'd like to do in 2025. Kind of like my own little manifestation list. And the more I thought about it, the more I felt like that really was what I wanted to do.

Witchy Winter Photoshoot

One of the core topics in this blog has always been my style, and if you scroll through the old posts you can see it has evolved quite a bit over the years until me finally finding the darker, rock vibed style and more or less staying in that lane for quite a while now. I would love to post more style content, but quite honestly I don’t have a photographer to take my pics so that brings a challenge. Although, I could do the remote control route with my phone, and then try my best to up the quality in editing (the phone remote doesn’t support taking RAW format, so that takes a toll on the quality sometimes).

Today’s outfit photos, however, are from a shoot I did with my mom as a photographer. She really knows how to work the camera, and made my witchy picture dreams come true. Below you’ll see some of my favorite photos from the shoot, as well as few new additions to my closet.

The dress in this post was graciously gifted to me by Fantasmagoria, but all the opinions are 100% my own.

Blogoween: Wiccan Inspired Nails

In line with today's previous post, I bring you "witchy" nails, inspired by Wiccan symbols. Now, as it's a serious belief as any religion or such, I really don't want to offend anyone by my nail art. I just personally think Wiccan symbols look beautiful, and that they have wonderful meanings that are often ignored and made look worse than they actually are. I tried to choose symbols that could have a positive meaning for me, were I to believe in all this wholeheartedly, and my reference article can be read here. (If you're a Wiccan, or more informed about these than me, please don't hate on me if I've missed a point here. I did this mostly for the visuals but wanted to acknowledge in this post where the symbols come from.)

Blogoween: Witch Costume

Like I promised yesterday, today there'll be two posts. This is the first of them, and another one will be up within few hours. I know I did one witch costume already (the Hogwarts one), but I also wanted to create one not tied to any brands whatsoever.
