Ask Me Anything!

Hi lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

Today the post is a little different, since I'm giving you to ask me anything you want - till the end of July! So, leave your questions below this post, and I will answer to them in the beginning of August. Whether that post will be a video or a traditional post, I don't know. You can leave suggestions about that as well if you want to. ;)

Note: The questions have to be within the limits of good taste and nice manners - no spam! I will let you all, even the anonymous ones, to have the chance to leave questions and comment. But if this leads to misuse, spamming and hate mail, the option will be removed. So behave yourselves! ;)

Keep the questions coming here for the next four weeks!

Maxi Skirt

Hi peeps!

Sorry for being gone for so long, but I've been taking some time for myself, enjoying the company of the most awesome men in my life - and the sun, of course. A little blogging break has been good for me, as I'm now super motivated to write new stuff for you guys. :)

So, how are you all? And what have you been doing? ♥

I would love to show you photos from the weekend at the cabin, but I have to run the pics through boys first (just so they won't get mad at me, haha). So instead, I have photos from the day a while back when we visited the amusement park Särkänniemi.

The thing I like most about the park is that they have many cute animals there. I know I spammed you with the animal pics last summer, so this time I'll take it easy. Just few pics, but if you want, you can skip them and go straight for the outfit photos on the bottom.

I love going to see animals, simply because we can't yet afford to have our own. And it's not just dogs, but rather all animals. And that means everything from cute little puppies and kittens to dolphins, horses, elephants, snakes and alligators. Hence, I'm always super excited to see the animals in Särkänniemi.

This year, the petting zoo has been renamed and re-themed into Koiramäki (Dog Hill) which is a well-known creation of a Finnish children's author Mauri Kunnas. That means that there are all these dog characters, cute buildings and such all around the petting zoo. I should've taken more photos of it, just to show how amazing it is. (Or maybe it just feels amazing to me since I loved those Koiramäki books when I was a child.)

Every summer, Särkänniemi also has puppies there. They stay at the park for a few weeks, after which they are sent to carefully selected homes, preferably as pairs (they have two puppies at a time, so they get pretty attached to one another.) If I could, I would adopt them all!

And of course, there's no proper post without some food in it. Look at these fantastic hot dogs!!! Love them! ♥

After this we hit the rides, but for it's own safety I didn't have the camera with me. ;)

But, I have some outfit photos from after the Särkänniemi for you. Ready for it?

Let's go.

The day was beautiful and warm, so I tried to dress for it - but also be at least somewhat creative with it. So, I opted for a maxi skirt for the first time this year.

I don't know about you, but I personally really liked this look. I've never ever liked maxi skirts that much, but the more I look at these pics, the more I want to wear them. (Any tips on where to find nice ones? ;)) I think they actually could go together with my style.

What do you guys think about this look? Where do you stand on maxi skirts, do you love them, like them, hate them...? Share your thoughts in comments! ♥

I'm off now, to relax, listening the age-old MuggleCast episodes (gosh, I'm such a nerd!) and getting inspired by the talented bloggers out there. But this time, I'll be back pretty soon. ;)

Have a lovely week!

Blog ya later,

Summer Feeling ♥

Hi babes!

How are you all? ♥

Sorry for being MIA so much, but this week has been more hectic than I ever thought it would be. We're heading north in the morning, to spend the midsummer in a cabin by a beautiful lake - and we're having a pit stop in a big event along the way. But more on that later. ;)

Anyway, as we celebrate the midsummer this weekend in Finland (we call it Juhannus) it's likely I won't be spending much time online. I try to catch up a bit, but if the weather is as sunny as it should, I can't be using my phone instead of enjoying the weather - you know the thrill! I still wanted to leave you with some nice summer photos - which I hope I'll have more after this weekend. ;)

This is a look I could easily wear to a festival, beach party, or any other summer event. I love the elements here - casual shorts, neon pink details, easy-going hair... Pure love. Also, here you can see pieces of the Finnish summer, which I hope I can show you more after this weekend!

But, I would love to hear your thoughts: What do you think about this look? ♥ And what are your plans for this weekend?

I'm going to try and catch some sleep now, but see ya later!

Have a fantastic rest of the week!

Cross My Heart

Hey lovelies!

I hope you're all having a nice start for your week so far ♥

I'm doing fine, trying to have a light week eating-wise so that I could spend the midsummer without thinking if the food is going to make me bloat or not. :D So it's loads of water, only a little carbs, and as much pure and fresh food as possible. Not really a detox, but close enough. I also wish for a good weather, so that we would get to hang out on the beach a lot.

And, in the early afternoon tomorrow/today (Tuesday, that is) I have an appointment with my hair stylist Hanna, who will put my locks in shape for the rest of the summer. What we have in mind? Well, see my IG feed for updates. ;) (@silvertigo, in case you don't follow me yet, but would like to.)

Today's post will show you another summer outfit of mine, with sporty and rock chic elements combined.

Sporty meets rock chic. At least, sort of. Gosh, I should be sleeping instead of typing but... Oh well. Anyway, this look was very "me" in so many ways, the colors are fun, there's many nice details, and the shoes are so comfy! But of course, it's up to you if I did any well.

So, your thoughts? What do you think about this look? What kind of details do you love to have in an outfit? ♥

I'm off now, to get enough sleep. ;) I still have a couple of posts for you before heading to spend some offline quality time with friends and family. Hope you'll enjoy them!

Have a fun day! ♥

Blog ya later,

Caviar & Feathers

Hey lovelies!

How are you? ♥

Another little road trip is behind me, and we had a lot of fun again. I don't have many photos to share from the weekend, but we'll see if some of them will see the light of day here.

Today, I just wanted to share few nail art pics with you before doing my nails and going to bed. ;)

 photo f4be4476-01b0-4d37-9fa3-968ecf6f47b2.jpg

First up is kinda colorful mani with caviar beads, glitter, rhinestones and fun shades. I don't really know where I was going with it but it looks kinda fun. To me, at least.

 photo 9de36a41-7854-43ec-ab62-53530bbf1da5.jpg

I'm so, so sorry for the awful cleanup, as well as poor quality. I should save and invest on a macro lens so that I'd get better close-up shots.

 photo f8dd3f52-3f79-4e47-a413-fbdced180d97.jpg

 photo f0b38721-39bb-4dbb-94ba-89d96afffe3b.jpg

And then the other one, which is my favorite of the two. My first ever try on feather nails, and I think I did okay. Of course, practice makes perfect with this form of art, so I guarantee I'll get better at it later. ;)

 photo c01b092f-ebbe-484a-997e-f661f82517a3.jpg

I used Essie Blanc as a base, and then drew the feathers with nail art pens. I added pink and blue so that it would give some dimension to the print.

 photo eaec7c84-14c4-414d-b58b-48471e4f7eaf.jpg

Heavily edited photo to kinda show off the print more.

What do you guys think about these manicures? Yay or nay? And what are you wearing on your nails today? ♥

This girl is off now, but back soon with a new outfit post ;)

Have a fabulous day! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Playground 2.0

Hiya lovelies

How are you all today? ♥

I'm finally back from a couple of days' trip to Helsinki - which oddly enough didn't include any shopping, but loads of NHL instead. We played it, we watched it.

Anyone else out there excited about Bruins making it to the finals?

I know I am. Sadly Boston got so unlucky on the first game, with Ference having his skate in wrong place in the wrong time. But maybe they can put it past them and still win the Stanley Cup. ;)

Okay, enough hockey, I'm just so passionate about it I can't help but to talk about it. Sorry!

Anyway, today I wanna share some photos from our evening walk couple of weeks ago. I'm so sad I haven't had the chance to blog more often, as I would have so much in store for you. But I try to catch up as soon as I can.

 photo 28728833-d2c4-453d-af3b-7a33f3c81971.jpg

That day, we were passing by a playground. And the child that I
am, I couldn't resist taking photos there.

Not a super fashionable look, and bot too amazing in any way, but still good enough to share here I guess. You know, since we all dress mostly casually anyways. ;) It would be cheating if I only shared my finest looks here, right?

But hey, what do you guys think about this look? Where do you like to take your outfit photos?

 photo a37462db-e67f-45cf-80e9-6b10b4eb3c2a.jpg

Lastly, a random snapshot from that walk. I love the time when the trees start to get green again!

Tomorrow, we'll hit the road again, so I really hope I will find some time to really go through blogs, answer your comments and such. It's been a bit hectic, I should say. :D I hope things will settle down next week, finally. It's kinda hard to go without blogging for days. And without reading blogs, too. I've missed so much!!

But, I will go now to get ready for the trip tomorrow, see you as soon as I can!

Have a fabulous weekend ♥

xoxo
