Foodie Post: Kale Chips

Hey lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been working on some last school assignments of the year, and very soon I can finally just focus on my internship. And the wedding arrangements. So I feel pretty darn good about things at the moment. I hope the feeling will last long.

I've also been trying to lift my spirits a bit by eating a bit cleaner and lighter this week, accompanied by some detox tea. I haven't totally gone for a cleanse, but I've been consciously choosing lighter option and veggies if possible. So, in the spirit of that, today is time for a recipe. Here's how I make healthy chips that replace potato ones very nicely.

Kale chips
4 servings

200 gr kale
1 lemon's juice
1 teaspoon olive oil
pinch salt
pinch chili
pinch paprika powder
pinch cumin

Debone and rip the kale into proper sized pieces, and put them in a mixing bowl. Add lemon juice and oil mixed together and sprinkle the spices on top. Mix with hands so that the spices will be on all the leaves.

Spread the leaves on baking dish and put in the oven in 150 degrees (Celsius) for 20-30 minutes, until they are nice and crispy. Turn the leaves on both sides while baking them.

You can also use a dryer to make the chips, they are supposedly better that way, and bit more natural - but of course that takes a little longer. Also, you can switch the spices into any that you like, if the ones here aren't for your taste.

Lastly, sit down and enjoy your healthy snack with a movie or your favorite TV show.

Do you have any favorite healthy snacks? Let me know in the comments!

Now, I will go get ready for bed, as I have an early wake up tomorrow. But that doesn't bother me as I'm very hyped to go to work. I will be back tomorrow with another post, as I have one all ready and prepped for you. So stay tuned!

Have a fabulous day my darlings ♥
