#31DC2015 Geometric & Glitter

Hey lovelies! How has the week started? ♥ I've had such a rollercoaster of emotions today with many things, but everything is well, don't worry. Just life teaching me some perspective. But luckily I have my workout to keep my head straight. Like I've mentioned everywhere, I'm quite passionate about my new routine and definitely want to share it once I get some visible results. (I may have showed a sneak peek today on Instagram - I'm @silvertigo if you don't already follow me there!)

On today's post, I'm sharing two new manicures from the 31-day challenge I did at the end of last year. We're already halfway through the designs, so let's try to get to the end, shall we?

Today's first design is this geometric one I tried to create with some striping tape. I'm a bit too clumsy with it, but I think this was okay in comparison. The design was just something abstract I was trying out.

I think the thumb looks actually pretty good. The design might look better on wider nails, but I'll let you be the judge on that.

The only polish I used here was Five Rules by China Glaze. It's a beautiful beige/sand color that has a hint of grey to it. The striping tape and the studs are from Born Pretty Store.

The second one is also quite a geometric design, but with glitter. Because glitter was the theme for this design. I could have done obvious thing and paint the whole mani - or a statement nail - with glitter polish. But instead, I did a tape mani and used a couple of glitters for it.

I was first going to go and top the whole thing off with Fairy Dust, but that seemed like too much to me. Although again, feel free to disagree. I just felt like it didn't fit the design.

The polishes I used were all by China Glaze: Feel The Breeze, Liquid Leather, United and Meet Me Under The Stars. The only tool needed for this is some tape to line the shapes while painting.

What do you all think about these designs? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, I'm pretty much heading to bed because it will be an early morning and I'm quite beat from the workout I did today. This week, I'll have some exciting stuff to share with you, which I will hopefully be able to share in it's own post tomorrow. I'm so, so happy about things that are happening with the blog right now. Apart from the lack of outfits, but that's something I can fix this week. I will talk to you again soon, but in the meantime, remember to follow me on social media where there's few exciting things happening as well.

Have a fantastic week darlings ♥
