Tropical Leaf Nails

Since we're on the spring months already, it's only fitting I start posting spring nails as well. So today, we'll start off with these tropical nails I did a little while back. Also, as we speak, I have some nail supplies waiting for me in the post office and I will be picking those up tomorrow. That may make it into a little post or at least an Instagram story unboxing. But before that, let's get into these nails.

I was feeling like doing something tropical as the month of March drew closer, and decided to dig out some greens and fitting background color, and handpaint some leaves on to my nails. I got multiple compliments on these on Instagram, which made me so happy about them, even more so than I was before sharing these with people.

And like I tried to tell everyone, these are easy! You need one thin brush and a little patience. Every leaf is painted with multiple straight strokes, so with a bit of practice, anyone can recreate these. It's really not rocket science. But if you don't feel confident about painting, there most likely are stamping plates, stickers and decals to help you out if you want to have this mani.

The polishes I used for this design were Shore Enuff, Too Yacht To Handle, Emerald Bae and Baroque Jungle by China Glaze11 - Dolla Dolla Bill by Clear Jelly Stamper, Chinchilly by Essie (unfortunately not cruelty-free but I'm using it up from the collection). I also used base coat and fast-dry top coat by Glisten & Glow as usual.
