Leopard Nails

Two weeks flew by faster than I ever expected, and here I am posting this one a week late. I'm sorry, but there's been a lot on my mind, things that are quite a bit more important than blog writing as much as this is my creative outlet and passion project. But to be perfectly honest, I've had to prioritize things that actually pay my bills and/or keep me healthy.

But today, I finally share this cute but simple nail art design with you, along with what I used to create it.

leopard french mani
If you've followed me long enough, you know I love animal print on my nails and my accessories a lot. So doing a design like this is second nature to me really. I kind of tried to do a French tip with the leopard print, and I think it looks cool, even though I say so myself.

Chin Glaze nail polish

For a design like this, you don't really need many tools. I only had a dotting tool that has two different sized heads, and that's it. And if you don't have a dotting tool, you can use the rounded head of a pin needle or anything similar for the same purpose, because I know it can be more challenging to get tools right now, depending where you live.

Neutral nail art

The polishes used were base coat and top coat by Glisten & Glow (these are true nail art staples for me), Throwing Suede by China Glaze as the base color, Mud Pie by Makeup Academy for the centers of the dots and Little Black Dress by Glisten & Glow for the Black details. And then I had the previously mentioned dotting tool. And that's it. There are a lot of tutorials for leopard print, but I could do either pictorial or even a video (most likely IGTV or TikTok one), if you'd like to see how I do mine.

What do you think about these nails? Let me know in the comments!

That's all for today's short post, but I try to be back as soon as I can with another one. I'm having schedule challenges since I work from home and try to keep up with my thesis but Still don't want to spend my whole day every day on a computer, so unfortunately blog takes a backseat for now. I will be posting, but can't really promise a true schedule yet (sorry!). I will however have a summer Holiday of two weeks in beginning of June, so then I hope to get some posts done in advance so I could finally get a very consistent posting schedule. That's my dream, really. For the time being, follow my Instagram @jolagerroos, and I will see you as soon as possible with a new post!

Have a lovely day!
