Hello lovelies!
I think it's safe to say that the worst is over. And by that, I mean the business plan for the school. :)
Today, we were selling our business idea with the bank, and they liked our thoughts, so, we got a loan for starting our learning company. Of course, it's not about real money, we're just sort of playing. But anyways. I feel our group really accomplished something, and I'm so proud of every single person in our group. Yay! Go team! :) We did it!
So, this means, I can maybe finally relax a bit mentally.
Another thing: I really want to thank all you lovely people for commenting and supporting me with getting started with my own blog. You're all unbelievable, honestly. I wish I can be support to at least one person out there, so that others can have the same feeling as I do know. Of course, I try to be supporting anyone who takes the time to write a comment to me.
That is, when I have time to really focus on reading blogs and writing comments. ;)
I'm waiting to share the "business look" I wore today with you, but it might be that I can't do that before Sunday because of my schedules. Also, tomorrow there's an exciting post coming up. I'll tell you something about my favourite band from Finland. So stay tuned for the music piece tomorrow! ;)
Lastly, I thought I'd show you...
Manicure of the day
I used Depend - shade nr. 35, neon yellow. Funny thing is, this nail polish looks very different in different light... Sometimes neon, sometimes just bright. :D Crazy. Yet, it's kinda fun.
So, that's all for today, and tomorrow, like I said about three times already, is time for a music post. :)
Blog ya later,
xoxo

Heya everyone,
Have you all had nice weekend? I know I have ;)
I got the chance to visit this big sales event called Megasale this weekend. I thought I'd take pictures for you all, but... I was too disappointed of the whole event that I didn't bother. I mean, I know it's not anything comparable with going to a stylish mall, but still. It was built in a kind of sports hall, all the stands were grey and uninspiring, and all the clothes and shoes and bags just kinda hung there.
I felt bad for the items, if that's anywhere near to sane to say like that. I may be growing to a demanding shopper (It's about time, I can imagine my dear mom cheering for this... <3), but I just can't buy from a place where the display is forgotten or messed up :D
So, me and my fiancé headed for a big mall, Ideapark, instead. And well, from there I actually found something. Not much, not with my salary at the moment, but still ;)
Anyways, I've been mostly just hanging out since the week has been pretty much to handle. I've cooked nice food and played some NHL with my man, and that's about it. And well, couldn't avoid school stuff even on the weekend... I'm really waiting for our "independent studies" week. I'll just read books, have a cleanse and relax.
But enough of the blabber, I'll move on to the style things.
Here's what I wore today:
"My first Coke advertisement" :'D
Shirt: Someone's old, I think (like my cousin's), Jacket: H&M, Skirt: Rosebullet (SpiritStore), Boots: Kenkä Cosmos, Necklace: I'd say it's H&M, but can't quite remember, and the same goes with the Bracelet. They're both already kinda old favourites so I can't remember. Just know that neither one was expensive. ;)
A couple close-ups on my make-up. I got a brilliant idea of drawing a star near my eye, as I had seen something like that on someone else's face. I kinda liked it. :) (actually, I tried that yesterday the first time, but was too tired to take a picture of it. that's why it's here now...)
Manicure of the day:
See, my hand is camouflaging itself to a wall...
I used: Depend - shade nr. 250. (matte grey)
So, that's all I have for you today, tomorrow... Well, let's not talk about that yet ;) I'll just say, I'll post something ;)
But have a great beginning of the week!
Blog ya later,

Simple Eyeliner Tutorial (dedicated to Kiz)
Saturday, September 24, 2011
Hi everyone,
This post goes out for the lovely Kiz from Confessions of a Shopaholic blog. She asked me to do a tutorial for using eyeliner, so here we go. :)
Easy eye make-up
I started off with moisturizing my skin (as I think everyone should), and then adding L'Oreal Studio Secrets Primer. That'll give a great base to any make-up.
Then I added foundation (IsaDora). Not many pictures for this as I believe that adding all these is easy for everyone. Again, I remind that I don't use anything but my fingers to add the products mentioned above. It blends more easily this way.
Next thing to do is to add some highlighter (totally voluntary, but I feel like it adds a nice touch). I added it under my eyes, on the bridge of my nose, under my eyebrows and to the top of my cheekbones.
Then, I added bronzer and blush. I feel it's easier to find the right place for the bronzer (as I use it for shadowing the face and creating some shape) when you suck in your cheeks a bit and add the bronzer right under you cheekbone (which should be more visible now). Also, I added bronzer to my hairline and jawline (under the jaw, kind of).
The blush, that goes to the top of your cheekbones. I usually add it with a smile on my face, to get a nice glow and the pretty shape at the same time.
Then it's on with the eyes. Start off with curling your lashes (again, this is totally voluntary, you might have curlier lashes naturally than I do). Use your lash curler on 2-3 sections along the length of the lashes to get an even and beautiful curl. Don't press the curler too hard so that the result stays natural.
Then, add eyeliner. To make it exactly like I do, you'll need 3 different eyeliners: (they don't have to be exactly the same, just comparable ones.) Max Factor Colour Perfection Eyeliner, Maybelline Expression Kajal Eyeliner, and Lumene Natural Code Eye Dramatzer liquid eyeliner.
Start with the Max Factor eyeliner. Add it to the upper lashline, and if you want to do it like I do, add it to the inner eyelid (yes, still the upper lid ;)).
You can also make the base for the liquid liner now. This is recommendable, since it makes it last a bit longer this way.
Now, take the Maybelline Kajal. Add it gently to the lower lashline. For this makeup, it shouldn't be too visible. Just add it to highlight your lashes a bit. I usually add it only to the outer half of the lashline, since it should make the eyes look a bit bigger. If you do it like that, always remember to fade the eyeliner on the inner end.
Then it's time for the liquid liner. This is much easier to do with a mirror you don't need to hold with your other hand the whole time. Follow the line you've drawn with the Max Factor a couple steps earlier, starting from the outer corner of the eye, and drawing the line in pieces. Always draw the bits from in to out, it's easier, I promise.
Now, I thought I'd make a little twist to this look. Well, it's probably wrong to say twist as it is very basic thing on eye make-up... But anyway. Let's make the eyeliner a bit "winged". Just take the liquid liner and draw a line that kind of continues the line of your lower lashline, but of course this is an addition to the upper part. See the picture for better understanding. ;)
Try to create a sort of cat's eye, by drawing a thin line first, and then making it stronger by adding colour on the upper/inner (how do you say this?) side of the line. I'm afraid I don't have a photo for this one properly, but try to understand from the pictures.
Then, the final (and very important) touch to the look. Your mascara! :)
And that should be it :)
Hope you learned something from this, I know I did. I learned I need a new camera so badly :D
Anyways, this is all for now. I'll probably post an outfit post later today. ;)

I love my nails.

Hey beauties,
I finally got the time to sit down and write something... The business plan writing in the school is killing me! But not to worry, I still haven't forgotten you all (and Kiz, that includes the eyeliner tutorial, I'll write it on Saturday, babe ;)). I have planned some future posts, and I'm confident you'll like them. :)
But, to get down to business, here's what I wore today:
Bow shirt: Only, Brown top: H&M, Skirt: H&M, Tights: Only, Boots: Andiamo.
I kept it kinda simple today (especially for hair and make-up) since I was busy with other things when dressing up this morning. Then I actually looked in the mirror in the middle of the day, and realized this was actually very cool outfit. :)
So, when I got home (for 20 minutes before running to work) I took these pictures for you. not the greatest quality, again, but you'll get the idea of the outfit.
Those boots are actually a huge favourite of mine. They've got broken many times, and every time I'm willing to pay to get them fixed. (My shoemaker, or well, I should say cobbler, is a genious!) I always have the same guy fix my shoes, since I can trust that he makes them like new again. These boots got broken about 18 months ago. I took them to the cobbler, and the guy promised they'd be ready in a week.
And how ready indeed they were. Oh my, they are actually better now than they were when I bought them. :D So, always find an amazing cobbler/shoemaker in your hometown, the guy might turn out to be a lifesaver for your fave shoes.
Also worth mentioning today, I think, is...
Manicure of the day:
Base: Kicks - shade Electric Blues (nr. 030)
On top: Make Up Store - shade Asun Sparkling (nr. 002)
In my opinion, they make a cool combination. The photos don't really do the manicure enough justice, but the small sparkles you might see are really pink and sparkly in the normal light, and the whole thing kind of reminds me of the space or a starry sky. I love it, but what do you think? :)
And, for those who might wonder: My nails are real. Meaning that they just grow like that, I don't have fake nails or anything like that. They just happen to grow into beautiful shape, and I'm more than grateful for that. ;)
A little short post again, but I think it'll be better tomorrow, Friday, when I have the time to actually post properly ;) And on Saturday, it's time for a little (funny even) tutorial :)
Until next time,
xoxo

It's getting hectic in here, it's getting chaotic...
Monday, September 19, 2011
Hey beauties,
Time for an outfit post before I go to sleep. (And start a new hectic week with too little time for anything...) We spend the weekend hanging out with friends that we don't see often enough - that's why the scheduled posts - and had lots of fun. :) But without further ado, this is what I wore today:
Dress: Seppälä, Leggings: probably something like GinaTricot, but can't remember, Jacket: H&M, Boots: Andiamo, Headband: H&M.
Very simple outfit, didn't put much thought to it really. Just snatched something from my wardrobe to get through my shopping. :)
Close-up of the eye make-up:
I just loved the colours, I enjoy trying new colours and combinations on my eyes all the time. Of course, on school days I really don't have the time to do much eye make-up at all... So I really look forward to weekends when I have the time to do make-up and dress well and do my hair. :D
I also have to show you guys something I bought. It's not much - well, nothing within my current budget couldn't be much - but it made me happy, so I hope you like it too.
Manicure of the day
The base: Depend Nail polish - shade nr. 122
Top: Make Up Store Asun Sparkling (002) - took the photo of this in two different lightnings since I couldn't decide which is the better one. (Someone wiser please tell me for the future posts...)
I just love this manicure, but I thought I wanna try it with a lighter base next time. That might be very cool.
Also, here's a manicure from Friday/Saturday:
This is the Rimmel polish, seen on some previous posts (shade 045, Misty Jade). I thought it'd be fun to make something new out of it before removing it (and yes, I was simply too lazy to remove it at that moment.) so I added - with the help of the manicure stickers - some white nail pollish to the tips. (I used Mavala shade 49, White) The picture isn't the best, sorry. :)
This is it for today, I know it's a short post with not much to tell you, but i try to be more creative with the next one. Hopefully my lovely trousers will already come so I can share that little piece of shallow happiness with you guys. ;)
But now I must dash, tomorrow is again a school day and we have my fave subject (writing, kind of). Can't miss that just because I'm sleepy! ;)
Take care you all lovelies,
Blog ya later!
