Heya lovelies!
How has your week started? ♥
I have used today to relax after all the traveling and socializing this weekend, and that's why I'm only posting now - and not for example last night. This week, I'm also hoping to photograph few posts beforehand - and maybe even write some of those - as I got more shifts at work starting next week. Not much more, but still, more. So just a little heads up for you, I'm not giving up on blogging, I just might be busy and tired and therefore not as active as usual. Don't hate me! ;)
Today, it's time to see out a couple more manicures. Both are pretty detailed and maybe one could even use the word glittery. How did I do with them - well, that's up to you all.
First, a manicure I've been itching to do for so long, a little tribute to a wonderful actress and one of my all time favorite movies. I have seen many of these around the internet, so the idea itself is not all that unique, but I certainly tried to have my own take on it.
The polishes I used were China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Some Like It Haute, China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara and Essie Set In Stones. Other things used were white and black nail art pens by Kiss, stamping plate with Audrey's picture on it, black Konad stamping polish, clear rhinestones, and holographic silver hexagon glitter.
The only somewhat reasonably clear image of the thumb (I know, I need a special lens for this macro stuff :D).
I really liked this mixed mani and might start doing more these on weekends when I have time to design, create and photograph them before work gets to them and they start wearing off or anything.
The other one today is something I have already showed you tiny bit off before. Remember this pic?
Yes, the manicure from the I Love Me Fair weekend. Here you can see it close up:
Another mixed mani, as I got excited about them while making the Audrey one above. Not quite as detailed, but I like it still.
Unusual for me, but I only used one polish for this design. China Glaze Sweet Hook. On that, I added black square studs, silver hexagon glitter, and a couple of rhinestones. I tried to keep it somewhat simple even with the mixed design.
I absolutely love this lavender color, it's so gorgeous that I could wear it all the time! Also, I found I really, really love studs and such on my nails - even the glitter, which is not as tough to work with as one would think.
So, two different manicures in different colors, with different themes. What I'd like to know now is:
What do you guys think about these? And, which one is more of your taste? ♥
Now, this girl is off to bed with wool socks and a cup of hot chocolate - I need to be up early to stalk the DPD delivery guy who holds my package hostage, lol.
Have a lovely week, everyone! ♥

Aww, that's too bad. But I get that in some work places it's not hygienic or such to have anything on your nails. Or have long nails. You just have to wear pretty nails on days off, right? ♥
DeleteSooooo sick! That Hepburn look is tres chic honey! Such talent and creativity...makes my glitter polish look so plain! ;D
ReplyDeleteThank you for the blog visit love! Would love to get your thoughts on my latest!
