Ferrari vs. Kiwi

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I've had such an eventful day today with physio therapy, coffee date with a friend and some school. I will be catching up with the comments and all tomorrow when I have more time, but today I'm just sharing this little nail art post while my nails are drying (that's why it's called addiction). On the weekend, we're finally selecting the wedding pics for our thank you cards and for developing to paper pics - which means I will also post some here to show you a little bit of our special day.

But now, to the nails:

First up are these must-have nails for a F1 fan such as myself. Although it's not my favorite team, I thought Ferrari would look cool on the nails. And it is such a classic in Formula One that it totally deserves the nail tributes. These I made for the first race after a month long summer break, because I was so excited that motorsports were back. And yes, my husband loved these too.

I kind of tried to mimic something I had seen on a Ferrari print with the stripes, and even though the green glitter tried to give me trouble, this all went pretty smoothly and turned out nicely.

The polishes I used were by China Glaze; White On White, Pining For Glitter, Liquid Leather, Daisy Know My Name and Seas The Day. The Ferrari logo is a decal made with a Born Pretty Store stamping plate, the stripes got some help from a tape and the checkered flag print was free hand painting.

Next up are kiwi fruit nails that were inspired by Cutepolish. Sandi had done amazing summer nails with many different fruits, but what caught my eye was the kiwi fruit design. So I created this based on that. Thanks so much for inspiration, Sandi!

I absolutely loves the combo of green, black and white here. I might do something else with the same colors later on.

The polishes used were Liquid Leather, White On White, Can I Get A Untz Untz and In The Limelight. The kiwis were painted with thin brush and dotting tool, and the plastic studs are from Born Pretty Store.

So here are the designs for today, I really hope you liked these. I had so much fun creating them and I'm quite proud of them as well.

What do you guys think about these designs? And, do you have a favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, I'm gonna finish my manicure of the day and then I will go catch some sleep. Tomorrow is finally the last day of the work week, and for the weekend I have actually a couple of bit different posts planned, so stay tuned for those. Also, go follow me on social media for all sorts of updates throughout the days. I'll see you all tomorrow night!

Have a fabulous day ♥
