Gingerbread Nails

Happy December everyone! ♥ This month I'm trying add a little bit of Christmas to every single post until Christmas. I was originally planning to post every other day starting the 1st of this month, but I was too busy on Friday and yesterday to actually sit down and blog. So we start the Christmas countdown from the third instead. Hope you're okay with that.

To start to get into the Christmas spirit, I naturally did my nails with Christmas themed design.

I thought the combination of green, silver and red glitter would look fun, so I started with that. Then, my boyfriend suggested that I should add gingerbread men to the design. Which I did.

I think this design was very easy to do, the only thing that could be considered tricky would be the tiny gingerbread men. But all in all they're not that hard either as long as you have dotting tool and thin nail art brush - or anything similar to them to help you paint.

I personally really loved the green glitter over red polish, it looks very festive and fun. And even better in real life. And it will also stay on very tightly because there's so much of the glitter.

The polishes were all by China Glaze except for the green and silver glitter which is Fresh Frog of Bel Air by O.P.I. The other shades are called Flame-Boyant (the red base under the red glitter), Ruby Slippers (the red glitter polish), Desert Sun (the gingerbread brown) and White Out (the white polish).

I'm hoping you enjoyed this first holiday post, and the next one will be up very soon. In the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram for more Christmas mood and daily outfit posts. See you all in my next post!
