Body Shop Calendar Unboxing (part 1)

This year, one of my Christmas gifts from my boyfriend is the medium-sized calendar from The Body Shop. It is adorable looking, and I love The Body Shop products a lot, so this was such a perfect surprise to receive. Clearly, the man is a keeper. So, like a true blogger, I decided to share all the unboxings/first impressions with you.

If this didn't already tell you, this post contains spoilers of what's in the calendar. If you are opening yours later, and want to actually have a surprise for yourself, don't read beyond this point until you have opened the first eight doors from the calendar. That being said, let's get to the calendar, shall we?

the body shop calendar

I absolutely love the design of the calendar, the colors and the graphics are super cute! I also love the fact they have a nature theme, so much so that each box has a challenge to help you make the world a better place.

peppermint candy cane body shop

First surprise was this travel sized bottle of the Peppermint Candy Cane Shower Gel. I actually have bought this in full size myself, and love this scent, so in the spirit of giving, I asked my mom if she'd like the smaller one. She did.

body shop mango body butter

Second item was this Mango Scented Body Butter, again in this convenient travel size. I love body butters but admittedly don't use them too often since they take a while to soak in. This one smells quite divine though.

body lotion

Next item was White Musk Body Lotion. This one will go well with my vanilla perfume I'm trying to use up, as it's neutral but also complimenting for vanilla scent. Can't wait to try it.

nail file

Next one was a nail file with an important message. I absolutely love how it is bunny themed and pink, and as you know, I am a nail art fanatic so I will get a lot of use out of this.

shower gel

In the next box, we have Strawberry Scented Shower Gel. I've had this scent in body butter before, and I loved that, so this will definitely get some use during springtime. It kind of smells like strawberry jam which I totally love.

bath bomb 1

Then, I unboxed a Coconut Bath Bomb. Unfortunately, we don't have a bathtub, but I do use these on my foot baths whenever I make those. So I will try this out quite soon as the weather is cold and calls for warm baths.

eye makeup remover

The next item was quite a surprise as I didn't know Body Shop has eye makeup removers, so getting this Gentle Camomille Eye Makeup Remover was a pleasant surprise indeed. As you may know, my eye makeup is often quite a lot, so having a special remover for it might be a good thing.

bath bomb

In the last box for today, we got Green Tea Bath Bomb. That sounds both yummy and super relaxing at the same time. I absolutely need to try it this month!

What kind of calendar you have this year? Let me know in the comments!

That's all for today's post. Sorry for a few days' of silence, my parents were staying over and I had a short holiday which I used entirely to relax with my loved ones and didn't stress about blogging. So I moved a post or two to later dates and it's one of the best decisions I could've made. Now, I have fully charged energy and a lot of motivation so the posts will be of best possible quality. Oh, and if you'd like to see me unbox (read: struggle) with the calendar boxes, head on my Instagram (@silvertigo) and go to the Christmas highlight where you can see all my unboxings as videos. I'll see you in my next post!

Have a lovely day ♥
