Current Makeup Favorites

If you're following me on Instagram and ever wondering what products I use to beat my face - because let's be real, I'm not enough beauty guru to list all the things under every single post - today is your chance to take a look into my current makeup routine and the things I prefer

gosh face primer

As a primer, I use GOSH Primer Plus Pore & Wrinkle Minimizer, which was recommended to me by my friend and she did good with the recommendation, I've been loving this stuff. It makes my skin more even and helps my foundation to stick on better.

foundations

For foundation, I use the combination of Nordic Girl! Beyoutiful Perfecting CC Cream in shade 2 and Catrice Cosmetics HD Liquid Coverage Foundation in shade light beige (010). These create a nice combination of coverage and dewiness which I feel looks good on me, but to be fair, I don't think this is my perfect combo. I do however have a foundation recommendation from a friend that I'll try next and if it is good, you'll hear about it either here or Instagram.

nyx concealer

My current concealer is NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop in shade Alabaster. This I have mentioned before in another post, and there I said it is a good enough dupe for Jeffree Star Magic Star concealer, but a bit more budget-friendly.

jeffree star powder

For powder, I use Jeffree Star Magic Star Powder in shade Fair. I love that it smells like Cotton Candy and that it illuminates the face and especially undereye area when used there. I simply feel so boujee using this powder and that why it might just be my favorite powder ever.

i heart makeup blush

My blush is a little ratchet but I don't mind sharing well-used things if I like them. This is I Heart Makeup I Want Candy Blush in shade Sugar and Spice. I'm not too into blushes so I don't really know which would be my best shade, but I've been liking this at least for the summer since it is cute coral color.

catrice bromzer

My bronzer is a well-loved one as well. It's Catrice Cosmetics Sun Glow Bronzer in shade 030 Medium Bronze. I use it for contour too which probably isn't the brightest idea ever and I probably should use contour shade that's cool-toned, but… Well, I'm not a beauty guru by any means haha.

jeffree star highlighter

For highlighter, I've been loving the Jeffree Star Skin Frost in the shade Ice Cold. It's a very light shade with a little gold tone to it, and I feel it suits my skin tone well. It's very shiny in pictures and while it might be a bit too glittery for some, I find it quite perfect. For my looks at least.

abh dip brow pomade

For my brows, I've been loving Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade in the shade Granite. It's dark cool-toned grey and with my blue hair, it's a better match than brown brow products. Next, I should probably invest in either their matching gel or a clear one from any cruelty-free brand so that the hairs would stay in place after doing my brows.

Gosh mascara

My go-to mascara has for a while now been GOSH Catchy Eyes Mascara, which I first was gifted by a friend but have also repurchased once. Now, I'm running out of it and considering buying another one from the same brand to test out. And while we're talking about lashes, I feel like I need to mention my favorite lashes which are xoBeauty The Soulmate lashes. They are synthetic false lashes with an invisible band and mix of brown and black lashes, so they fit many different looks and are meant to enhance your eye color. I wholeheartedly love these.

nyx eye primer

Under my eyeshadows, I use NYX HD Eyeshadow Primer. For me, this works wonders and keeps my looks on the whole day, while also keeping them vibrant. I use this without setting because I feel that's the best way with most eyeshadows.

blue blood palette

I'm not sure I can actually really choose a favorite eyeshadow, but my favorite brand to use is definitely Jeffree Star Cosmetics. If I really had to pick one, I think I would choose the Blue Blood Palette to be the one. I do love the other two I have to pieces as well, but there's something about blue I can't overcome.

nyx epic ink liner

Another one where I'm on the fence about a favorite… But I'm kind of drawn to my NYX Epic Ink Liner time after time. The thing is though, mine bleeds. from the tip, so much so it tries to mess up my wing every time. So I'm thinking I may have a faulty one, and I'm willing to give this another chance in a form of a brand new one. This is supposed to be a dupe for Kat von D Tattoo Liner, and it has amazing reviews all around, but I couldn't compare the two as I don't know KVD products at all

blue blooded lip kit

Lipsticks are something I change daily and I rarely wear the same thing two days in a row. However, quality-wise, the best thing in my collection are the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks. They stay on through thick and thin, and aren't too drying. And also I really love that he has come up with so unique colors because nudes you can get from every single brand out there, but unusual colors - that also look great - can sometimes be hard to find.
