Pastels vs. Burgundy

Heya lovelies ♥

Happy December! This has to be one of my favorite months, what with all the Christmas treats, decoration and stuff. I'm not much of a gift girl, I love giving them but rather not have anything than get a bunch of stuff I don't need. And I love, love, love wrapping gifts. It's one of my favorite things ever.

This weekend, we have been starting our Christmas time, but I'll tell you more about that in tomorrow's post. ;)

Today, it's time to see some more nail art, and only thing in common with these two is that they both include glitter.

First up, a pastel sort of manicure I probably got inspiration to from around the Internet, like from Pinterest or something, I don't know. Nevertheless, this was something simple I did a while back and loved it a lot.

I still have to practice my ways with this kind of manis, I mean, as you can see they came out a bit chunky. (haha) But still, I loved the combination of pastels and gold glitter.

The polishes used were China Glaze I'm Not Lion, China Glaze Sweet Hook and Essie Mint Candy Apple.

The other manicure was more of experimenting for me, I was trying out a new polish, checking out how it looks in matte, and also learning new technique for decorating.

The two polishes in this mani were Essie Thigh High and China Glaze Your Present Required. The top coat is Essie Matte About You.

Sorry for all the different filters, I was using my new light box for this but clearly my lights were way too dim for me to get a good light. Oh well, I know what I'll buy when getting my next paycheck, haha.

So that's what I had in store for you today, I really had fun making both of these manicures - hope you liked seeing them as well!

What do you all think about these manicures? What are you wearing on your nails today? ♥

I'm gonna hop in the shower now, and try out the Pumpkin Spice body scrub and oil cleansing for my face - more of those two later!

Have a fabulous day and a great start for the new week!

Blog ya later,

xoxo
