Plaid Is The Thing ♥

Hey guys!

How are you all? ♥

It's almost weekend, and here in Finland, it's Independence Day the day after tomorrow. We have plans to spend that with our friends/relatives, which should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow, I'm having my project class again for the whole day, which is pretty exciting because we're starting properly do stuff (on idea level, at least) which to me equals learning stuff. Can't wait to see what we will do.

I can also proudly say, that I have been more inspired with the blogging things lately, so expect quite many posts this month. There will be hauls, nail art stuff, hopefully my second ever video and all sorts of fun things. But today, I just wanted to share an outfit post.

A week ago, on Saturday, we visited Pori as we were seeing my man's relatives for the day, and so, we figured we should check out the new mall Puuvilla. Puuvilla opened this October, and it is a nice combo of brand new and traditional. It's located where there once was a fabric factory, and the buildings around it are quite old.

I absolutely love the fact they have kept old brick walls inside, and have managed to incorporate bricks in the modern design as well. And the Christmas lights on the ceiling are just perfect. I think it's cool to have something new like this in Pori, even though we don't live there. But we visit often enough to need fun places to meet people around the town and not just at everyone's homes.

Call me crazy, but I seriously love that kind of walls so much. I didn't take too many pics as we didn't spend too much time there, but wanted to kinda give you an idea of the style of the building. There are many shops and restaurants around, so if you ever visit Pori, you should definitely check out Puuvilla.

My outfit for the day was kinda simple, playing with plaid, black, red and such. We found this nice outside view to take pics against, and we had daylight! That seems like such a luxury these days.

Coat: Boohoo
Scarf: Cubus
Jeans: Gina Tricot
Boots: Skobox
Bag: Mango
Shirt: H&M Men
Belt: Pieces
Top: Primark
Necklace: Gina Tricot
Bracelets: Gina Tricot

So I tried to wear a plaid shirt, and quite liked it, although I would prefer flannel over real shirts as it doesn't get as crinkled. But for now, that I don't have flannel ones, this was pretty nice. I actually stole this shirt from my man when he was throwing out old clothes. With a belt, it nearly looks like a good size for me. And if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know how obsessed I am with the scarf here. I wear it daily. It's so comfy and pretty!

But how do you like this look? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm gonna head to a quick shower now, after which I should try to get some sleep so I can be the most productive, innovative version of myself tomorrow morning. And today, I will also have a little cosmetics related stuff up which I'm pretty excited about! So talk to you later.

Have a fantastic day, dolls ♥

    1. Thank you! That building is pretty unique for Finland as well, I love how they haven't torn all the old stuff down for that, but instead they've made it a part of the new mall. ♥

  2. Ah, Finland! Such a beautiful country :) I love your outfit, though I think maybe you could use a taaad smaller belt, so that it would accentuate the waist even more. I wonder if they sell assymetric belts that are most thick in the middle and less so on the sides. It would be absolutely perfect! You rock plaid :D

    1. Thank you! You're absolutely right, a belt with thinner sides (and front maybe) would be more flattering, but I love the back of this one so much I didn't care too much about the fit. :D
