Plaid Is The Thing ♥

Hey guys!

How are you all? ♥

It's almost weekend, and here in Finland, it's Independence Day the day after tomorrow. We have plans to spend that with our friends/relatives, which should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow, I'm having my project class again for the whole day, which is pretty exciting because we're starting properly do stuff (on idea level, at least) which to me equals learning stuff. Can't wait to see what we will do.

I can also proudly say, that I have been more inspired with the blogging things lately, so expect quite many posts this month. There will be hauls, nail art stuff, hopefully my second ever video and all sorts of fun things. But today, I just wanted to share an outfit post.

A week ago, on Saturday, we visited Pori as we were seeing my man's relatives for the day, and so, we figured we should check out the new mall Puuvilla. Puuvilla opened this October, and it is a nice combo of brand new and traditional. It's located where there once was a fabric factory, and the buildings around it are quite old.

I absolutely love the fact they have kept old brick walls inside, and have managed to incorporate bricks in the modern design as well. And the Christmas lights on the ceiling are just perfect. I think it's cool to have something new like this in Pori, even though we don't live there. But we visit often enough to need fun places to meet people around the town and not just at everyone's homes.

Call me crazy, but I seriously love that kind of walls so much. I didn't take too many pics as we didn't spend too much time there, but wanted to kinda give you an idea of the style of the building. There are many shops and restaurants around, so if you ever visit Pori, you should definitely check out Puuvilla.

My outfit for the day was kinda simple, playing with plaid, black, red and such. We found this nice outside view to take pics against, and we had daylight! That seems like such a luxury these days.

Coat: Boohoo
Scarf: Cubus
Jeans: Gina Tricot
Boots: Skobox
Bag: Mango
Shirt: H&M Men
Belt: Pieces
Top: Primark
Necklace: Gina Tricot
Bracelets: Gina Tricot

So I tried to wear a plaid shirt, and quite liked it, although I would prefer flannel over real shirts as it doesn't get as crinkled. But for now, that I don't have flannel ones, this was pretty nice. I actually stole this shirt from my man when he was throwing out old clothes. With a belt, it nearly looks like a good size for me. And if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know how obsessed I am with the scarf here. I wear it daily. It's so comfy and pretty!

But how do you like this look? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm gonna head to a quick shower now, after which I should try to get some sleep so I can be the most productive, innovative version of myself tomorrow morning. And today, I will also have a little cosmetics related stuff up which I'm pretty excited about! So talk to you later.

Have a fantastic day, dolls ♥

Fun In The Sun With A Bun ♥

Hello everybody!

How has your weekend been? ♥

We had fun time with our friends K & A, who were staying with us overnight. We went to Särkänniemi and ate out, after which we hang out at our place and played a board game. Simple and fun. The most awesome thing this weekend was hearing that two people we really, really love got engaged. I'm super happy for the couple and I can't wait to celebrate this with them in person. ♥

Today, however, I would really like to show you these pictures we took last month in Pori. I'm a couple of days behind my schedule, but I really hope you don't mind since this week was pretty hectic. Anyway, to the pictures:

We were photographing in Herrainpäivät, which is a stunning area in Pori with lots of gorgeous nature. It felt like a totally different place out there, like we would've been on a mini vacation.

The outfit I wore was very simple, though of course I went overboard with the accessories yet again. But that's me, you know.

That was a fun look to wear, and it actually photographed pretty nicely as well. I really wanna create more fun looks with that vest, even though the weather will be soon too cold to rock it.

Let me know what you think about the look in the comments below!

Now, I'm gonna finish my homework, and then I get to relax with some reading (blogs and a book as well). Tomorrow, I will bring you another outfit, so stay tuned for that. ♥

Have a fabulous day ♥

Let's be friends in IG!
