Valentine's Nails With Born Pretty Store #3

Hello lovelies! How are you all today? ♥ I'm currently traveling a bit, but still able to post this one for you. (Yay!) I was planning to post this today morning, but because of anxiety attack, I had to postpone this a bit. I hope that's cool with you. So, today, I'm sharing third of my Valentine's Day nail inspiration posts. The last one will be up tomorrow, so that you can see all the designs before the big day - in case you need some fancy nails for a V-day date.

But now, let's get to today's design:

Valetine's nails

So today's design is this cute little pastel art, done with some chevron tape. The color scheme was inspired by Pantone's this year's colors (which are quite lovely shades, even though I'm not the biggest fan of pastels usually).

I tried to fancy the mani up a bit with a glitter gradient, and I think it looks quite nice here actually. Hope you like it too!

The polishes I used for this design were all by China Glaze: Feel The Breeze, Boho Blues and Let's Dew It. The heart rhinestones are from Konad and the chevron tape is from Born Pretty Store.

As mentioned in the title, this post is also a cooperation with Born Pretty Store. For this post, I got the review their chevron tape, which I will talk a bit more below:

So the tape I got from BPS is this black chevron tape (you can find it here). It's thin chevron between two thicker pieces, and there's quite a bit of it - you don't need too much for one mani. I used double tapes (two tapes right next to each other to make thicker pattern) for the mani above, but I need to try how single one would look like in the near future.

This tape is simple to use - like any tape, I think- but I think there's a bit too much of the sides which potentially go to waste. That's pretty much the only bad thing I have to say about this. It sticks well and it flexible enough to work with. For the price of $1.59, this one is definitely a good purchase.

If you find this, or any other product on the Born Pretty Store website worth buying, use to code JOHH10 at the checkout to get 10% off your purchase.

What do you think about this V-day design? Let me know in the comments blow!

Now, I'm finally off to bed (it's been a long, long day!), but I will be back tomorrow with another nail post. There will be other stuff after that though, don't worry. Not turning this site to solely nail blog just yet. ;) If you want to see more of my musings, check out my Instagram @silvertigo, where I post all sorts of stuff daily! See you again tomorrow!

Have a lovely weekend ♥
