I ♥ Lush

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been watching quite a bit of sports today, as well as doing all sorts of things since it's my last weekday off in a while. So, what I've also been doing is having a bubble bath for my feet, and that kind of reminded me to write this post for you. If you love Lush, or are interested in the brand, keep reading.

Lush Haul

So, at the beginning of the year I placed a couple of orders to Lush, and in this post, I will talk about the items I got. I ordered from both Lush UK and Lush Finland, so I can even make a bit of a comparison of the two for you.

Let's start with my order from Lush Finland:

Dream Time

As you may be familiar with, Lush often gives you little freebies so you can try out new products. Now, in some countries, like apparently in UK, you have to mention it in the order if you want to get samples, but in Finland I've always gotten a little something with my orders. And I think it's a great way to find new favorites.

This time my sample was this Dream Time Bath Melt. It has a lovely, not too heavy scent, and it makes your skin so, so smooth when you place it in your bath. I may have to make one thing clear here, which is that I don't have a bathtub, so I test these out for my feet with a tiny tub. Your results may vary if you make a full-sized bath.

Fluffy Egg

Fluffy Egg is from their Easter line, and it's cute pink egg-shaped bath bomb (a tiny one) with few flowers on it. This one smells very sweet and candy-like, and I enjoyed using it a lot. And the flowers really are the cutest!

Golden Egg

Golden Egg is literally that. A golden egg. The gold is glitter (I'm assuming the kind that wouldn't hurt your eyes?), that gets absolutely everywhere when you touch it. After shooting these photos I messed my pants in glitter so bad I had to wash them. And our livingroom was full of sparkle too.

glitter fingersUltra Violet

Ultra Violet is a gorgeous, colorful bubble bar that smells like jasmine and ylang among other things. And it makes your bath look adorable. Also, I told you the gold glitter gets freaking everywhere. It was all over this one as well. Luckily I love glitter.

broken lush product

Now, this next item didn't survive the travel too well, and despite the careful packing it had broken into pieces. This is Which Came First, and as it is an egg with a little chick inside, it is hollow and therefore more fragile than most. This also smells super sweet and reminds me of berry candies, and being a bath bomb it fizzles nicely when in contact with water.

I was planning on giving this to my mom so I was a bit bummed, but I contacted Lush about it, and they were amazing with their customer service. Not only did they explain why it may have broken, they also offered to send me a new one.

So this is the whole and not broken egg, but when I picked up the box it came in, I noticed it had more in it:

Five Gold Rings

So first I found Five Gold Rings in there. This one is from Christmas collection, and it has five tiny bubble bars in one. I love that it's golden and that you can easily share this with friends. This has a smell I can't really describe, but it reminds me of Christmas and will probably make an amazing bath.

Peeping Santa

Peeping Santa was the next thing in my box. This is a bubble bar with strawberry, cocoa and such in it. It smells delicious and I can't wait to try it properly soon. I love all things that smell like strawberries, because it brings so many good memories of my childhood into my mind.

Bar Humbug

Lastly, there was Bar Humbug, which is a cute bubble bar in violet and white with bit of silver glitter. It smells like something citrus and has also some herb kind of scent in it. (see how I'm the worst of describing scents?)

So all in all, I got three extra products as a compliment for the broken one on top of getting a new product. That's insanely generous of Lush and I can't thank them enough for the superb service. I will keep shopping at your stores for sure. Which I think everyone should since they are cruelty free, they have plenty of vegan things, they are being as ethical as possible, as organic as possible and all the other good things. In short, they have good values in my opinion.

Now, you may be thinking there's still the UK order missing. Well, let's get to that below:

Lush Haul

I originally placed an order to Lush UK since I didn't get the Unicorn Horn anymore from Finland. But luckily they were in stock in the UK and I could get one home. And I figured I'd get a couple of other things at the same time as well.

Fizzbanger

Fizzbanger is a beautiful yellow and blue (yes, there's blue inside) bath bomb that smells like lemons. Many say that this is the best bath bomb Lush makes, and I don't wonder why. It's such a great smelling one, and it makes the water into a super cool shade of light yellowish green.

Lover Lamp

Lover Lamp is a Valentine's Day product, and it's a white bath bomb with tiny red hearts in it. The little hearts look super cute in the bath! I don't really know what I could say about the scent, except that it reminds me of spa. It's a relaxing smell nevertheless, like you probably could imagine if it reminds me of spa.

Unicorn horn

Last but not least is Unicorn Horn, and I think I don't need to explain why I wanted this. It's pastel, bit of metallic, very much rainbow and literally unicorn. What's not to want about that? This is yet another one smelling like candy, and I really love it a lot. And what I didn't mention is that this one is a bath bar, so it makes your bath very bubbly!

Have you used any of these - or other Lush products? And what did you think about them? Let me know in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, but I will be back with another post soon! In the meantime, follow me on social media, where I'm active daily (you can mostly find me as @silvertigo or with my name). I have been teaching myself to use Snapchat more lately, so that I could maybe get use out of it while traveling. I'll be trying to edit some posts ready for you now, so that we would have content running here throughout the couple of weeks I won't have time to really keep editing since I want to enjoy being abroad as much as I can. Hope I can create all sorts of fun stuff for you!

Have a lovely day ♥
