China Glaze You Do Hue First Impression

Today, I'm excited to be talking about yet another nail polish collection. Not too long ago, I purchased the You Do Hue collection from China Glaze almost in all its entirety. I left out one because it didn't speak to me as much, but I'm sure it's a shade many other people would enjoy. But I'll give some opinion about each shade I do have, two of which I have actually worn already, and rest of them I have only swatched on wheels. But I do have thoughts based on that and the swatching videos I've seen around. I try however keep the thoughts original as much as possible.

Real Techniques Brush Review

This post is something I've been meaning to put up earlier, but posting it now makes it actually more valuable for you because I've had the time to use these products and I can share my experince with you rather than showing cute things I got.

So if you are thinking of getting cruelty-free makeup tools, keep on reading!

Birthday Girl Haul & My Unicorn Party

At the beginning of this month, I had my birthday. And I kind of celebrated for a week. Which is - like the title tells - what this post is about. If you're interested in seeing more about that, read along, and if not, come back for the next post which will be about other things.

China Glaze The Arrangement Collection (Swatches, Nail Art and More)

Who else loves to surround themselves with spring colors this time of the year? I sure do. And that's why I treated myself to the China Glaze spring collection called The Arrangement. This post seems like it did forever to create with the photos and all, but I think now I have a very well-rounded post ready for you. So, without further ado, let's get into the collection!

China Glaze Mini Haul

Who loves seeing nail polish haul for inspiration? Because I actually do. If you don't, I'm sorry, you can skip this one and come back once I'm talking about more interesting things. But I got these colors recently and am so hyped about them that I really want to share them with you.

Because you know, I am a nail polish addict.

Lithuanian Surprise Box

A while back, my friend Vita suggested a Christmas time box swap. I haven't done a swap with anyone in years, so I got excited right away. We had talks about what categories each one would include, and agreed to general rules for it. And we would have no clue what the other has chosen into the box before opening our own one up. If you want to see what I got for her, you need to head on her Instagram @vi.kazlauskaite and check through her pics to find out, but I will share you what she generously got for me on this post.

Sweet Mayhem Autumn/Winter Pieces

This post may seem strange after I just posted a closet declutter, but hear me out. I ordered these items before I decided on getting rid of stuff, but they took a while to get to me. Since I do love and support this company, so I figured I would share this small haul with you.

China Glaze FW'18 Ready To Wear

I know I did a little China Glaze haul just a little while ago, but since I ordered few fall polishes the same time as the OMG! collection, I thought I'd share them with you as well. China Glaze's fall collection is called FW'18 Ready To Wear, and it seems to draw inspiration from NYC Fashion Week if the names are anything to go by. I picked up three shades as of now, but am considering a couple of more later on.

China Glaze Mini Haul

It's been a while since my last nail polish haul, isn't it? The reason is that I haven't been buying that many new ones, and actually even this one is from a couple of months ago. But, before judging me on that, I feel like nail polish doesn't go from fashion and these are shades you can still get on the Internet stores at least so no damage done by postponing this.

March Purchases

So, I know March ended a couple of weeks ago but... I still wanted to make this post. Better late than never, right?

Today, I'm sharing the main things I bought during March. Since we got the move out of our hands, I finally had some budget for buying some fun stuff. And some kind of necessary stuff.

Born Pretty Store Nail Haul

2018. New year, new goals, fresh start. Personally I'm so excited to start a fresh new year because 2017 was no doubt the hardest I've faced so far with difficult breakup and other life changes. But as I swore yesterday with my boyfriend, this year will be better. It'll be our year. And if you read the last post of 2017, I made a bucket list for this year (see it here) to puch myself to live more, do more and feel better. Hopefully along the bucket list also comes nice blog posts.

Today, I'm sharing with you something I bought last year, which also will be helping out to create content. Some nail art stuff from Born Pretty Store.

FiorellaShop Haul (and My Christmas Wishlist)

For months now, I've been drooling over FiorellaShop clothes after seeing them on so many cool girls on Instagram. When they had Black Friday deals, I figured it's time to try some. So in this post, I will show you what I got this time. And at the end of the post, I share a wishlist for this holiday season.

TAM Beauty Haul & Review

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥

It's been some days since my last post, and I probably should come up with something else than a haul again, but I've had this one in my drafts too long. So today, it's time to talk a little bit about makeup:

China Glaze Autumn Haul 2017

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥

It's been roughly a week since the last post, and I've had a ton of things going on offline so few days of blogging silence was much needed. Most importantly, I got allergy tests done, and can finally find out what really causes my occasional reactions and also if there's anything stopping me getting a pet in the future. The results were quite what I expected so far, but I need confirmed results from my doctor. But what I am excited about is that I didn't get a reaction to dog so my dream of getting one someday lives on.

Today I really want to talk a little bit about nail polishes I purchased this autumn.

NYX Fall/Winter Haul

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been too distracted by everything to sit down and blog lately, but today feels like a day to do so. I've got my feet in a little bath and I'm wrapped in a blanket, so I'm not going anywhere in a while. And I'm loving it.

Other thing I've been loving lately is NYX as a brand. I've been trying out their products this year, and I've been falling in love with them. After all, they're affordable, not tested on animals and super cute on top of that. Below, you can see my latest NYX haul (and two bonus items):

Montreal Haul

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I'm somehow feeling increasingly inspired as the fall comes upon us, I feel like crafting, photographing and simply creating more than I do during other seasons. Maybe it's because the weather gets as dark as my soul.

Just kidding. The real reason I love fall is because I used to love going to school when I was young, and new semester felt always like the start of something new. It was the time to buy new clothes, new school supplies, get a haircut - everything new. So even this day, I feel like reinventing parts of myself. If that makes sense.

Today, it's time for the last Canada related post for now, and I will get back to posting more style and beauty related stuff - and recipes, like I've been telling on social media. In today's post, I will show you most of the things I bought in Montreal, and I hope you will enjoy this post.

I ♥ Lush

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been watching quite a bit of sports today, as well as doing all sorts of things since it's my last weekday off in a while. So, what I've also been doing is having a bubble bath for my feet, and that kind of reminded me to write this post for you. If you love Lush, or are interested in the brand, keep reading.

Head2Toe Beauty Nail Haul

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I've had a great weekend since the F1 (and supporting classes of motorsports) was on again this weekend. We have basically just stayed home watching sports, but today we took an hour long walk out in the sun after the race, which was pretty amazing (and romantic, even).

Today, I wanna share my latest nail polish haul with you. I was shopping for more autumn shades from my usual nail polish shopping place Head2Toe Beauty, and below are the ones I got:

DSC09252 (Large)

From left to right: Wood You Wanna?, Rain Dance The Night Away, Feeling Twinkly and Ruby Pumps

DSC09254 (Large)

Left to right: License & Registration Pls, Let's Dew It, Boho Blues and What's She Dune?

DSC09256 (Large)

Left to right: Towel Boy Toy, Techno, Golden Enchantment and Cabin Fever.

DSC09258 (Large)

Left to right: Make A Spectacle, Wanderlust, Too Yacht To Handle and Trip Of A Lime Time.

So, quite many again, plus a new bottle of Fairy Dust since the previous one is almost gone. Below, you can see swatches and a bit of description of the colors.

DSC09260 (Large)

Cabin Fever is a cute duochrome polish that goes from pink and red to copper and even a hint of green I think. It's a lovely shade for autumn and would go very well in many different designs. I try to come up with few nice ones for you to show.

Wood You Wanna?  is a pretty metallic with loads of fine glitter in it. It's kind of a metallic taupe shade, or something like that if you'd want to label it, but it's pretty, it's kind of dark yet it has dimension to it.

Ruby Pumps is quite a classic as so many ladies have named it as their favorite, and it's no wonder since it is a gorgeous rich red with plenty of glitter in it. It's perfectly festive for the holidays, but also appropriate for any occasion since it is such a classic shade of red.

DSC09264 (Large)

Feeling Twinkly is clear based polish with plenty of bright blue glitter. This can be built up to a quite opaque glitter, but probably looks its best over a color polish. I love the shade of the glitter, it's absolutely gorgeous blue.

Let's Dew It is also a blue-ish glitter, although this one has different sizes of glitter and it could be also almost called lilac. Almost, but not quite.

Make A Spectacle seems like a layerable polish to me, meaning that it really needs something else under it to actually look like something. I kind of fell for this after seeing swatches of it over dark polishes, so that's what I need to show you all later in the future.

DSC09266 (Large)

Techno is also one of the legendary CG polishes, it seems everyone and their mom has it - and that everybody loves it as well. I can definitely see the appeal of this silver glitter topper that shines in every color of the rainbow. I think the different-sized glitters and make any mani that much more fun. I can't believe I haven't gotten this one earlier to my collection.

Golden Enchantment is the golden equivalent of Fairy Dust, but seems not as common of a choice as the silver one is. This is a topper with super fine gold glitter that shines in different shades. I  have to make some research on how to properly pair this, but I'm sure it at least looks stunning over dark shades.

DSC09269 (Large)

Towel Boy Toy is a shimmery turquoise that is bright and cute - and more of a summer color than an autumn one, but what the hell. I kinda liked how this looks, and I thought I didn't have enough blues, so...

Rain Dance The Night Away is a lovely turquoise, and looks more different from the previous one in real life than the picture shows. It's a bit brighter and lighter, and it doesn't have shimmer in it. (I don't have a problem, I really need this color too.)

Licence & Registration Pls is a lovely medium blue color that is kinda bright even (again not showing that much on the pic), but definitely a super wearable color that goes well with so many shades. And unlike the blues on Electric Nights collection, this doesn't seem to stain. Love that.

DSC09272 (Large)

Wanderlust is light lavender/pink with some golden shimmer in it, it's super cute shade and I'm wearing it actually at the moment on my nails. It's a very subtle shade that's appropriate everywhere.

Boho Blues is a light blue that turns bit to the lilac, but it's blue nevertheless. I loved wearing this a few days back and it's absolutely one of my favorites I got in this haul. It also matches quite perfectly to Let's Dew It, which you will see in another post later on.

Too Yacht To Handle is another favorite of nail bloggers all around the world, it seems. Again, it's no wonder because it's quite perfect shade of neon turquoise (almost mint, even), and it totally makes your nail art pop. So. Freaking. Gorgeous. I love this one to bits and I'm so happy I got it.

DSC09274 (Large)

Trip Of A Lime Time is a lovely green that is quite yellowish at the same time. I was obsessed with this shade as a teen and actually wore a lot of clothes of this color (yes, I may have looked like a pea around that time, just not as cute). So this was actually pretty nostalgic. It's kinda similar to CG S'more Fun from what I gather, so you may not need both if you got one of these.

And last but not least: What's She Dune? is a beautiful neutral shade (of beige) that is super nice option for a nude shade. It's bit of a sandy color which to me is super pretty, and it makes a great base color for so many different manis. I love this one so freaking hard.

These were the polishes I got this time, I hope this post is any helpful is some of you are thinking of getting any new autumn shades for your nails or so on. I think I won't be buying polishes for a couple of months now, just so I will save a bit more money and also because I have a plenty to use as it is. (You will see exactly how many in the future posts, so be prepared.

Are there any colors you are liking? Or have you tried out any of these yourself? Let me know in the comments!

Now, I'm hitting the shower, and then the bed, because tomorrow is yet another long day at the office, and I need to be fresh and awake to get through all the tasks and so on. I will be posting something fun again tomorrow, but haven't yet decided what that will be. But I'll see you tomorrow anyways!

Have a great start for your week ♥

MUA Cosmetics Mini Haul

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

When you are reading this, I'm already married! The actual celebration is tomorrow, but we had the paperwork done today so this is officially our wedding day. It's also my maid of honor's birthday, so we are celebrating both this weekend. And while we're talking about parties, I feel it's totally appropriate to talk about makeup.

DSC08191 (Large)

I placed this little order on MUA Cosmetics a while back, with intention of ordering new waterproof liner. That was out of stock, but it didn't stop me from getting other stuff.

DSC08197 (Large)

Eyebrow Brush - £1.50

I'm so into eyebrows nowadays, so I had to get a proper tiny brush for drawing them. This was reasonably priced and does the job very well. It's already a necessity for me.

DSC08200 (Large)

MUA Wet Look Liquid Liner - £2.00

Since I couldn't get my favorite eyeliner, I decided to be brave and try out a new one. This makes thicker line than my trusted product, and is more difficult (for me at least) to use, but it is decent as far as liners go, it is a rich black color and has a bit of wet look shine to it.

DSC08203 (Large)
DSC08207 (Large)

Liquid Eyeliner (green & blue) - £1.00

Also got some colorful liners in the hopes of getting warmer weather and creative summer looks. I feel these green and blue ones would go nicely with my style, and once I got some looks done with these, I will show them to you.

DSC08193 (Large)

Swatches of all the previous products and the lipsticks, that I will show you below.

DSC08209 (Large)

Lipstick, shade Flamingo - £1.00

So I was hunting for the perfect soft pink color, and decided to try couple ones since these are so affordable. The shade Flamingo is very light, kind of cold pink that comes off pretty powdery on the lips. Not my favorite consistency, but I kinda love the shade. Swatch below.

DSC08219 (Large)
DSC08212 (Large)

Lipstick, shade Tulip - £1.00

I thought I wouldn't like this one too much since it looked kinda dusty shade of rose in the packaging, but ended up being surprised since it looks very different on the lips. It's a cute, warm baby pink that goes nicely with my skintone. This one would probably look best over a similar lip liner, but looks good on it's own too. It has a nice, moist consistency and it's easy to apply.

DSC08227 (Large)DSC08216 (Large)

MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Lips - £3.00

This one was kind of an impulse buy, but the name of this shade - Hedonic - was just too awesome to pass. Also, the shade looked amazing. This truly feels very soft on the lips, but I need a bit of practice to get the coverage work better. But I think this is very pretty and that it will get quite a bit of use.

DSC08235 (Large)

So that's my mini haul today, I hope you guys liked it and that it maybe even was a bit helpful. I personally like buying MUA Cosmetics products since they are affordable but still have enough quality to them. I think the brand is great for those who love to try new looks but want to do it on a budget, or for students who love makeup.

I wasn't paid to rave about them, I can only hope I was. And yes, I will be raving abut them again in the future, you can be sure of that.

Have you tried MUA Cosmetics? How did you like them? Let me know in the comments below!

Tomorrow, you will have another scheduled post to read. Tomorrow is also the day of the big party, and I hope I will get plenty of pictures to print out as real photos - as well as few that I can share maybe with you guys. You can follow me on Instgram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat to stay tuned with our party mood and then some. Also, remember my #julybeautychallenge on Instagram if you love beauty related content!

Have a fantastic weekend ♥

China Glaze Electric Nights Collection

Hello lovelies!

How are you all this Saturday? ♥

I'm currently having my bachelorette party as you might have noticed in my social media channels. But, I didn't want to leave you wihtout a post in case you're having a cozy night home, so I wrote this little piece beforehand to make sure you have something to read.

Today I want to show you my latest nail polish haul, which was a while ago (month or so) but as the colors are made for this summer, I don't think it's too late to post this.

DSC07457 (Large)

So I bought the China Glaze Electric Nights collection from Head2Toe Beauty, along with the basic black and white polishes. I had been eyeing this collection ever since I heard it was coming, but only on my pay day in May I had the realistic chance to order them. I must say, the neons are pain in the butt to photograph because they never quite look quite the same they do in real life. (In real life theyr'e usually much more vibrant and pretty.

DSC07460 (Large)DSC07462 (Large)DSC07461 (Large)

I know, way too many shots of the polishes... But they're just so beautiful!

DSC07463 (Large)

First are the necessary basics black and white. I ran through two or three white polishes every year because of my love for gradients and neons, so I always need to have some in hand. I've herad there are better whites than White On White out there, but I have yet to try those (because they're a tad more pricey.

The black, on the other hand is a new friend, I've usually used Essie Licorice, but due to China Glaze's more affordable price, I thought I'd give a go to Liquid Leather, which I have heard so many good things about. (And those of you who wonder, yes, it is pretty darn good so far.)

DSC07464 (Large)

Then to the main point, which are the neons. I should save these beauties to last butI'm so excited about them I just need to talk about them straight away. Swatches for all the neons are at the bottom of the post.

So, these multicolored glitter polishes are (in my opinion) the absolute gem of the collection. They aren't metallic at all, like most glitters tend to be, but instead they're just fully neon. From left to right, the polishes are:

Point Me To The Party: a multicolored top coat with pink, orange, green and blue little hexagons in it. Not something you could make opaque by layering, but definitely fun over any colored polish.

Let The Beat Drop: Top coat with hexagons in shades of red (orange, pink, red, purple). This on is absolutely adorable, and I can think of many ideas on how to use this one in the future. Like the above one, this one also benefits from a color underneath.

Can I Get A Untz Untz: The green version of the glitter topper. It has green, blue and purple in it, and as a color combo it looks pretty frash to me. This one also likes a color under it.

DSC07467 (Large)

Then to the plain colors. Although there's nothing plain in these as they are bright neons. From left to right:

Daisy Know My Name: A super bright yellow (which the pic doesn't show too well) that doesn't look too yellow in the bottle, but on the nail it's a different story. This one is a classic neon yellow, and it definitely needs a white underneath to maximize the neon in there. It also can look like different shades of yellow, depending on how many coats you layer over white.

Home Sweet House Music: A vibrant orange that Sam from Packapunchpolish said looks like radioactive mac and cheese. And in real life, it kind of does. The picture doesn't do justice to it. It reminds me of a fruit of some sort, but I can really name what that is. Something related to oranges,  anyway.

Red-Y To Rave: Orangey red that is amazingly bright, kind of a super neon. Again, the picture doesn't show even half of it, it is so bright and gorgeous. And for a neon, this is reasonably easy to work with.

DSC07469 (Large)

Glow With The Flow: Very bright and cute pink polish that is such a necessity for your collection of pink polishes. It is way lighter and brighter in real life, but my camera wouldn't capture that properly. This one, along the glitters, is my favorite in the collection.

Violet-Vibes: First of the two purples in this collection, and it is more red of the two. This one reminds me of last years neon collection - it had kind of similar one in it - but this was still a pleasant addition to my collection of purples as it is different enough still.

Plur-ple: The more blue of the two purples. This one was something I actually happened to like more than I thought I would. I'm sure this one will get a lot of use later on.

DSC07471 (Large)

UV Meant To Be: Very bright light blue that is borderline not even a neon. It is a gorgeous color and I will surely use it a lot, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a neon anyways. But if you need a light blue, this one could be it. At least it's very vibrant.

DJ Blue My Mind: Darker than the above one, and also super vibrant. This lovely shade has only one setback, which is that it stains. Quite a bit. Note! if you ever buy it and use it, use at least two coats of base coat underneath, even three. Otherwise you could end up with sadly blue-stained nails. (Trust me, I learned the hard way even with two coats of base.)

Treble Maker: The green of the collection. I love this shade so much, it's quite any greens I own so far, so bright and a bit blue-toned. This one, I think is an absolute must-have, if you're only thinking of ordering some of them. Even my hubby-to-be noted how awesome this is, so that's saying something.

DSC07481 (Large)

Then some swatches. Inconveniently these are not exactly in the same order as in the bottle pictures, because for some reason I wanted to try and put the glitters in between (I know, my logic is really something.) But these, from top to bottom, are: Point Me To The Party, Daisy Know My Name, Home Sweet House Music

DSC07478 (Large)

Red-Y To Rave, Let The Beat Drop, Glow With The Flow.

DSC07476 (Large)

Violet-Vibes, Plur-ple, UV Meant To Be.

DSC07473 (Large)

DJ Blue My Mind, Treble Maker, Can I Get A Untz Untz.

Overall I think this collection is worth getting if you are into bright colors and neons like I am. I know this isn't probably something everyone wants on their nails, but I personally love neon polishes so much because they are so fun to wear. I like my nails to be my accessories as well.

Which ones of these do you like the best? Or do you even have something from this collection? Let me know in the comments!

Now, that's all I have to share today. I hope you liked this post, and if you did, you can also follow me all around social media for more! This weekend, you can see some highlights of my party weekend on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat, so tag along if you're into parties or wedding related stuff!

Have a fantastic weekend ♥
