It's been a while since my last nail polish haul, isn't it? The reason is that I haven't been buying that many new ones, and actually even this one is from a couple of months ago. But, before judging me on that, I feel like nail polish doesn't go from fashion and these are shades you can still get on the Internet stores at least so no damage done by postponing this.

I don't remember what made me want to find duochrome polishes, but that's what I went to look for from Head2ToeBeauty, where I usually shop for nail polish. I also googled "China Glaze duochrome" to see some swatches before buying. To be fair, most of these look more duochrome in the bottles than they do on nails, but I'm actually currently experimenting how to make the duochrome pop more on my nails. I'll report back if I have any success on that field. 

Also, I picked up something else too for the same postages and taxes.

 

From left to right, with swatches below: Emerald Bae, Deviantly Daring, Pondering, Gone Glamping, No Plain Jane, Get It Right, Get It Bright and Don't Be A Snow-Flake. I've said this before and I'll keep saying it, but I do love the word play in the China Glaze shade names. That's why I can name ridiculously many of them just by seeing them on swatches etc. Because the names stick in my head. I have to say the swatches here don't really do justice to each shade, but you get some idea how they look with one coat on the nail. Although I think Pondering doen't look really accurate, it's more purple in real life than here but it somehow reflects quite grey. I actually have it on today when I'm typing this post over another polish, and I somewhat get the duochrome out of it. But like I mentioned, if I manage to perfect my technique with these enough, I'll update you on how to get most out of these duochromes. 

As we're speaking, China Glaze has actually come out with a Flashback collection, and released the holographic OMG! collection again. Yours truly will be picking the whole collection up if only the stock lasts after my payday.
