Hello everybody!
How are you all? ♥
Like you maybe have seen on my Instagram, I've been spending today at the beach (got a little sunburn, yikes!) so didn't got much done blogging-wise. But, as I was smart beforehand, I edited these photos for you to see.
Today, I'm gonna walk you through our trip to Frankfurt Zoo, which was such a great part of the trip for me. I know there are probably plenty of people reading this that are anti-zoos, but I personally feel they are great places for people to learn about these awesome animals and see why our planet is worth preserving, so... Let's try to stay positive here, okay? ;)
We start off the day by hitting Starbucks on Zeil (shopping street in Frankfurt), because - and this will sound weird - I had never been to one. We have only two in Finland, so I haven't had the chance. I really liked the coffee there and would've liked to go more times there, but we didn't get the chance. Boo.
After coffee, it was time to go to the zoo. Frankfurt zoo is a walking distance away from Zeil, and easy to find, which was pretty awesome. Below, you'll see pictures of some of the animals we saw there, and mostly they just speak for themselves, but I will comment on few. There are many pictures, so if that's not your thing, change the site now.
Entrance to the nocturnal animal house. Creepy as heck. And I LOVED it. That place was full of amazing animals that I couldn't photograph due the darkness inside, and to be honest, actually loved watching so much I wouldn't have photoed too much anyway.
What did you find there, dude?
So grumpy ♥ Loved this one so much!
The penguins were so freaking adorable, look at this one swimming there! Too cute.
One of my favorite pics of the day. I don't know why, but I find crocodiles cute.
Fennec foxes ♥ I love these creatures so, so much, and I'm kinda bummed I didn't get of better picture of them. But they were happily chilling out and didn't wanna come near people.
They have such a happy life :D Just chillin'.
Found my dream car on the way. So cool.
And last but not least, king of the jungle.
We really enjoyed our time on Frankfurt zoo, they have such a natural way of keeping people and animals apart. Instead of ugly metal fences, they've gone for glass, wide ditches and so on. That is to make visitors feel they're close to animals, which, in our opinion worked quite well. If you happen to be on Frankfurt area with few extra hours to kill, go check out the zoo. It's awesome. And it only costs like 10 Euros per adult, so it's super affordable.
I hope you liked this post and all the animals - rest of that day will follow on the next post. Leave me a comment telling what you think about this post below.
If you wanna see more of our trip, see previous post here. Tomorrow, we'll be doing all kinds of stuff, so if I can't get to my laptop, make sure to follow me on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (links on the right) to see what's up, and get content that might not be seen here on the blog.
Have a great day, and I will see you later!
