Camo vs. Aztec

Hello lovelies! ♥

It's been a few days since I posted, because I've been so hooked on knitting a cardigan. So sorry for the wait, but I'm here today. In this post, I want to share a couple of nail art designs with you, both of which I liked a lot.

First up is my first ever camo mani. I was terrified of trying out this print because I thought it would be hard to do. But actually, it was quite easy to paint after couple of tutorials. I love camo print, so this was pretty perfect for me.

This design was inspired by the glitter polish used in it, which I found not too long ago from Ideapark. Apart from a bit of bleeding, this was a perfect mani. For me, at least.

The polishes I used were the glitter polish that inspired the design - Essence Rebel, and a bunch of cream polishes: China Glaze What's She Dune and Crimson, L'Oreal Green Couture and MUA Mud Pie. The green rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store.

Next up is some Aztec print that I did for the sake of practicing free hand painting. I also wanted again create something around the glitter here so I took a random direction I like and stuck with it.

After years of nail art, I still can't handle straight lines free handed, which is a bummer because otherwise I like painting prints myself over stamping. (Maybe because stamping is even harder for me.) But more practice and it'll get better!

The polishes I used were all by China Glaze: Home Sweet House Music, What's She Dune, Liquid Leather (or Crimson, not exactly sure) and Rest In Pieces. The painting was done with thin nail art brush.

What do you think about these manis? Let me know in the comments below!

That's all for today, I'm having a hairdresser appointment on tomorrow (Monday) afternoon and I'm so excited. I think I'm getting a slightly different color and maybe a different cut, even. I'll make sure to post the before/after pics on Instagram, so follow me there to keep up. Also, I'm trying to bring my Snapchat more active because we have awesome plans for the weekend and I think I want to share them with you there. So check that out too! (I'm silvertigo there as well.)

Now, I'm gonna hit the bed, but I'll probably see you on the next post tomorrow. I love you guys!

Have a fantastic start for the week ♥
