Finally back into nail art as well. I came across a fun nail art challenge by @clairestelle8 on Instagram, and as it only has 8 designs to do I figured I'd give it a go. It would fuel my inspiration with nails, but also it's not that serious if I forget to do one or don't have time for all of them. The first prompt was Unicorns, and below you can see how my version turned out:

I tried to go for bit of holographic colors, some iridescent, and mix of white, silver and light purple. I think that at least colorwise this came out very nicely.

This mani was a great chance to play with some Born Pretty Store items I bought a little while back (see more here). I really loved how the iridescent striping tape looks over the white polish, as well as how the duochrome pink studs look on the index finger.

The polishes I used were Wedding Gown White and Selfies In Staten Island by Glisten & Glow, Techno, Let's Jam, Don't Mesh With Me and Make a Spectacle by China Glaze. My top coat and base coat are from Glisten & Glow, if that's something that interests you. The iridescent tape, the rhinestones/studs and lose glitter used are from Born Pretty Store. And, the unicorn decal is from ShopKeeki.

I was really happy how these nails turned out, but one thing I'm a little bummed about is that I can't take pictures of my nails a bit closer since I don't own a macro lens yet. Hopefully I could afford one later this year once I've first gotten everything done with the new apartment. Then we could have quite more beautiful pictures of the nails.
