Spring In My Step

Finally. I'm actually posting an outfit here. Of course I posted kind of one about the wedding look earlier this year, but it's been forever since I did a proper outfit post with someone else taking my photos. And this feels good. It feels right. This is why I started the blog in the first place. For my love for style. Of course I blabber here about anything that inspires me but I'm most excited about fashion in general. So here you have the first outfit post of the year:

spring look

This look is something I wore to the office, and it has some serious spring vibes but is also warm enough for me to not get a cold in Finnish weather. (Which is around +5 to +13 degrees Celsius currently, so not too warm.)

Lace up shirtoutfit

Hat: H&M, Scarf: Gina Tricot, Jacket: Boohoo, Lace up top: H&M, Pink cami: Zadaa app (second hand item), Boots: Boohoo (?), Backpack: H&M Jeans: Mango, Necklace: Gina Tricot

The trouble about shooting in Finnish weather for me is that I've grown quite comfort-loving, and don't really like the idea of freezing myself over pictures. So I stayed quite bundled up during this little shoot as well, but probably once i get more back into it, I care to showcase the outfit better even if the weather is chilly. I used to be able to do that not that long ago. Where we live has many nice spots in the nature for shooting looks, so I'm excited to do so once the nature wakes to the spring better. Also I need to learn to get comfortable with new person behind the camera, which will take a minute since I'm super awkward in front of the camera always.

bracelets

It's definitely a sign of spring when I whip out stacked bracelets. These are from H&M, Gina Tricot and Boohoo if I'm not mistaken, but each is such old that they don't sell exactly these anymore. But you might find similar from those places. I'm trying to not buy too many things this year, and also for every item brought in I try to throw at least one away so lot that you see is something that might not be available other than through thrifting. Also my goal is to shop more ethical and sustainable, which is something I'd love to talk more in depth later this year.

What do you think about this outfit? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm super hyped to get this post out, and as you are reading this, I'm more or less ready to take pictures for the new outfit post. They have predicted kind of a bad weather for the whole week, but I try to get two shoots in between all the rain in case the news are right. I'm also open to posting ideas if you have anything you'd like to see from me. Just drop a message in the comment section or any of my socials and I'll see what we can do about it. I will see you all in my next post.

Have a wonderful week ♥
