I Love Me 2013

Hi everyone!

I hope you've all had a nice weekend ♥

So, yesterday, I went to visit the I Love Me 2013 fair in Helsinki, Finland. The fair contained fashion, beauty, health, and jewelry & watch - meaning, there was pretty much anything possible. My fiance was unlucky enough to have to come along with me there, but he admitted later that it wasn't as bad as he had thought.

Anyhow, I don't have that amazing pics from the fair as I kinda focused on not getting stepped on (as I'm such a dwarf, lol) but in case you want to see more coverage, you should definitely check out blogs by the official I Love Me bloggers, like for example Anna ♥ you, KLIPSIworld, Erica C., or Ina's lifestyle.

What I did try to photograph more, though, was the distribution of prizes on Bodypainting Finnish Champion contest. We had seen these painted model walking around the place the whole afternoon, so when we noticed we could make it to the prize event, we went for it. Sorry if the pics are a bit blurry, I made the idiot choice to try and take photos from the audience when I should've taken a seat from the front row and so on... Well, I know that the next time.

This model was showing the UV paint on her look.

I really liked the corset pattern there, though the whole thing was a little too much.

I seriously need a lesson or two about taking pics of moving things. Oh well.

Giving prizes for the top 3.

And here, the three best creations according to the judges. The theme was "renaissance of colors", and the creations really were colorful, and pretty nicely done. That's actually something I'd like to try someday. I mean, it looks so much fun!

After this, we went to see little more. Now, the place was preparing to shut down for the day, so we could have a better look around as there weren't as much people everywhere. I feel like a bad blogger as I didn't take more photos, but I was more feeling out the stuff, trends and such so I kinda focused more on that.

One of the things that really got my attention were these super adorable rubber boots. Wouldn't these be the best for the rainy Autumn days?

Getting some inspiration for my own future wedding ;)

A kick-ass dress, I totally loved this ♥

So that's all the pictures I have from the fair, I'm sorry there's only so little of them. The fair was amazing place to go, with so, so much to see, and one of the best parts was that I got to meet the lovely fellow blogger girlie Kertu face to face for the first time.

Before heading home, we sat down on Britannia for a bite. I chose Chevre Chicken, which was totally amazing. The chicken breast was covered with nachos, which to me is probably is the best thing ever.

Now, lastly, I want to share my outfit for the event with you.

I know it's a bit chilly already here, but I couldn't resist wearing this pretty little white dress for the occasion. The styling was built more or less around the boots as they are probably the most comfy pair of boots I own this moment, so they were the obvious choice for the event.

So, a simple little look, probably one of the last ones showing any legs this year, as the weather is getting so cold. (Get ready to be bored with my jeans and knits, haha.)

But, what do you guys think about this look? ♥

Now, I gotta go get some sleep, I have so much to do tomorrow! But I try to be back soon with another post. ;)

Have a lovely day!

Blog ya later,

xoxo

On the Road: Furniture and Light Fair

Hey babes!

How are you? ♥

Today is time for the last piece of my Stockholm adventure, and this time I'm showing you photos from Furniture and Light Fair we visited as a part of our trip, and as decorating is close to my heart now (because of the new place), I tried to soak in as much inspiration as I possibly could. The photos here are my favorite bits and pieces of the fair, though I didn't have the time to photograph absolutely everything.

Innovative lamps in one stand.

 photo DSC09078.jpg

A creative way to show you sell carpets.

 photo DSC09079.jpg

Probably my dream dining table - if it can be bought in dark brown.

 photo DSC09081.jpg

Huge installation in the middle of everything.

 photo DSC09089.jpg

I loved this simple design for water taps. Notice the overly cute pink one!

I think I found a brand I need to decorate my future dream bathroom with. Duravit. The company has amazing designs for bathrooms, and some for kitchens as well.

 photo DSC09092.jpg

How great would this be for bathroom? Everything would be so very organized!

 photo DSC09093.jpg

Awesome food stand, providing free snacks for all. I get seriously hungry every time I look at this photo.

Happy blogger in Duravit stand. (Photo credit: P)

I think me and May both went a little crazy with our cameras once we found the Light section of the fair. But there were too many lovely things to photograph it was impossible to resist.

I totally loved this as a decoration idea, and I totally need to recreate something similar once I can go crazy with details here in the new place. ;)

I loved this little aquarium, it's so retro and fun!

After the fair, me and the girls headed to shops of Stockholm to waste away the last hours of the trip, and after running around for hours with just breakfast, we decided to go and have pizza. I can't remember what was the name of the place, but I would definitely recommend it, the pizza was amazing - yet very affordable!

After that we did have a way too fun cruise back home to Finland, but no photos to be published due privacy reasons (it would be too much work to ask every single person whether or not I could post a tipsy pic of them here, so... I know you guys understand.)

Today our home will get a fabulous new addition as our brand new couch arrives. I can't wait to post photos and stuff, but before you can see anything in the blog, I strongly encourage you to check my IG account (@silvertigo) for the latest updates and snapshots of my life.

But now, it's time for me to hurry to school for a marketing lecture!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous week! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo
