Hello my lovelies!
How are you today? ♥ Have you guys missed me? If anyone of you has been wondering the radio silence from my end, it's only because I have a week off now, and for the past few days, I haven't had the time to really sit down and blog, since we've been road tripping again. Yesterday, we were in my birth town and had a lot of fun - but more on that later in its own post. Today, let's talk about nails.
Again, I have two new designs for you - some of you might have seen these already on Instagram, but that's totally cool. You can check them here again, as I have the product details for you.
So first up is a sort of sailor themed design with lots of stripes and some other details. Again, everything is painted by hand, as it gives me better control than using stickers or stamping, but if you were to recreate this, you can totally do that. Whatever feels right.
I personally loved this design a lot, even if the stripes could've been neater and whatever. Overall, it didn't look too bad. I might try using tape as guide if I did this again, but then, I also would love to train my hands more stable, so... #firstworldproblems
The colors I used were all by China Glaze, except for the blue. colors for this design were: White On White, Seas The Day and Goldie But Goodie. The blue is by Ciaté, and the shade is called Power Dressing.
The other one today is a design I simply created because I wanted to test drive a color combo. And I was pretty uninspired, to be honest. But it was still pretty nice.
I used China Glaze Fairy Dust after a long time to bring nice sparkle to the otherwise quite simple look. Because glitter makes everything better. I think.
The other polishes I used for this were China Glaze Sweet Hook and Ciaté Headliner. All the studs are from Born Pretty Store.
So there you go, two new nail art designs!
Let me know in the comments what you think about these two, if you liked one more than the other, or if there are manicures/tutorials you would like to see!
Now, I'm off to do some school stuff, but also to create my first Halloween look for you guys. I will start posting them at the end of next week, and most of them don't require any special stuff. But I will try to get all up so much before Halloween that you can actually go and buy stuff if you need. Also, we will be having some cute food and decor things here, but more on that later. ;) Stay tuned and catch sneak peeks on my Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (links on the sidebar).
Have a fantastic day you all! ♥

Both of the manicures are gorgeous. I am very curious of your Halloween designs!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I hope my few designs are inspiring :D ♥
DeleteI love the stripes. They have such a lovely nautical vibe.
ReplyDeleteThank you honey, I really think so as well! ♥
DeleteHi girl!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't possibly choose between these two. They are both just awesome. The first one is preppier and would be perfect for a Sunday brunch. The latter is dreamy and would go well to a yoga class or thu out the week.
That's actually pretty well said! I'm happy you liked them both ♥
