Studded White & Stripes With Roses

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been enjoying the start of autumn and the little things in life so much lately, and I really hope you have too. Like mentioned, the autumn really makes me feel alive like never before - which I actually talked about with my cousin yesterday and she felt the same - and I hope that will translate also to my blog and social media content.

Today, we're digging the archives a bit and checking out these nail designs I've failed to post earlier. But now is as good time as ever to post them. I think.

Biker Jacket And Stripes

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been MIA for couple of days, and I'm sorry for that, but I simply didn't have scheduled posts for all the days (since I didn't have the time to write something to all of the days, oops). Today was the last full day in Montreal, and I'm nearly all packed and ready for tomorrow's long flight home. I will probably write up another post for this weekend, and I hope to get back to blogging soon after getting home. I have lots to show you, and hopefully even bits of decent video. I'll try to get to posting those at the end of this month, so stay tuned for that!

Today, I'm sharing another outfit post with you:

Mint & Stripes Office Look

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I'm currently waiting to get on the road so we can start yet another hockey weekend with the boys, and I thought I could use the time wisely by posting one outfit for you. This one is something I wore to the office couple of weeks ago and liked quite a lot.

Stripes and blazer

Stripes, Leather and Pink

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been having such a great day today, got a little workout done, had somewhat fun in the work and have so lucky t be surrounded such amazing people in my life. The day itself has been quite usual, but the little things have made I super happy today. In this post, I'm sharing an outfit I wore a week ago, and I must say I liked it a lot.

#31DC2015 Polka Dots & Stripes

Hello lovelies! How is your weekend going? I've been enjoying the day off and the company of my hubby, and even though the weekend has been shadowed by the events in Paris, it's been a lot fun. Which I think is what world needs, good vibes and fun - and love. So for that reason, I'm blogging today about easy-go subject with pretty pictures and as always, I'm hoping this will be a fun one for you. So let's see some nails, shall we?

Stripes vs. Chevron

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

We're headed to a trip today again, which is kinda exciting - although a quiet weekend home would be soon very much needed. But in the summer, it's nice to travel around and see places and people. At least most of the time, anyway. After a week, it's time for my bachelorette party which I'm both excited and terrified about, because I'm absolutely clueless about things. Luckily girls promised to tell me what kind of clothes to bring along - at least. I promise to get some pics here and there for you to see from that night.

Also, if you'd like to see a sneak peek of my wedding dress, please let me know in the comments. If you follow me on social media, you might have seen something already. ;)

Today, however, I'd like to talk to you about nails. I have two designs that I actually really liked, even though the techniques might need some perfecting. But you can be the judge of that.

DSC07126 (Large)

The first designs has stripes and roses in it, and I tried to use colors I normally wouldn't use or pair together. I think the combo of peach and navy is actually pretty nice, and I guess I could definitely do another one with them later this year.

DSC07146 (Large)

I really like painting rose prints, and pairing them the classic way with stripes and polka dots felt right. I tried to do sneak peek stripes with my natural nails showing through, but I feel the result was a bit messy. I liked the idea though - and maybe could create a lovely one with more practice.

DSC07136 (Large)DSC07140 (Large)

The polishes I used were  China Glaze White On White, One Track Mind and Be More Pacific, and Rimmel London Peachella. With the stripes I used striping tape as a guide, dots are made with dotting tool and for the details of the roses I used a thin nail art brush. All my tools are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC07130 (Large)DSC07312 (Large)

Next is a teal/light blue design I happened to make just before attending to a fair to represent the company I have my internship in. I used kind of perfect colours for the fair stand, which was cool because I didn't consiously plan that at all.

DSC07320 (Large)

I liked this skittle design kinda lot, and I really think I shoud do these more often. And I definitely should use chevron more (mental note: order more chevron nail vinyls), because it looks so cute on accent nails.

DSC07317 (Large)DSC07306 (Large)

The polishes I used were China Glaze Capacity To See Beyond and Mosaic Madness. The blue shimmer on the chevron is from Gina Tricot. The black rhinestones are from Born Pretty Store and for the chevron print I used Nail Vinyls.

I think both of these manis were pretty nice, but once again I'd like to hear from you:

What do you think about these nails? Let me know in the comments below!

That's all I have for you today, but we will see again tomorrow in another post. Also, you can follow me on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat) where I share stuff that doesn't show on the blog. And also, you will be updated every time there's a new blog post out. So see you there as well! You can leave likes and comments everywhere so I can check out your accounts as well, I always look for more inspiring accounts to follow.

Have a fabulous weekend you guys ♥

Stripes with Plaid

Hello lovelies!

I hope you are having a great Saturday!

I'm still enjoying the cabin life, which is so relaxing and fun - as you might have noticed if you follow me on social media. I've been enjoying the time with loved ones without the laptop, because that is something I get to do too much (for it to be healthy) at work anyway. So this is so good for me!

Today, I have a quick little outfit post for you, and I hope you guys like it.

Dress: secondhand from friend Cardigan: Seppälä Bow belt: Mango Tights: H&M Shoes: Puma Earrings: from a friend Necklace: Gina Tricot Bracelet: Gina Tricot Rings: Gina Tricot, H&M

So it's a black and white look with mixed prints and only a few accessories. I really liked this look, even though it's nt very typical for me. But it was fun as a casual one for school. The dress is such a gem, one of my school friends was cleaning out her closets a long time ago and asked us others to look through if there are items we'd like. I happened to love this dress and adopted it from her.

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, that's all I have for you today, but I'll talk to you again tomorrow or on Monday the latest. In the meantime you can tag along on our trip on social media, and if you do, I try to check you out too, just leave a like or comment or something like that so I know you've been there!

Have a fantastic day ♥

Stripes vs Silver ♥

Hey lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

I'm pretty much over the moon since (even though I try to stay the heck away from heavy subjects) we finally took a big step in Finland towards completely legalizing same sex marriage. As I'm all about loving whoever you please - as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, this is pretty big for me. But you know, it's all over media so I will not go too much into that. I'm just pro human rights, not taking any other side considering the subject.

But in today's post, I wish to show you these two new nail designs. I really loved them both and I hope you will too!

DSC03194 (Large)

First up, some leopard print, stripes and studs. I liked this unusual color combo which I wouldn't have even thought if it wasn't for the studs here. The whole manicure was built around those, and I think I did quite a nice job with them.

DSC03208 (Large)DSC03214 (Large)

After the brown nails, I had no idea what to do for the rest three. Finally I did decide on doing stripes, but now that I look at these I think it would've been fun to do some saran wrap. Maybe next time though!

DSC03202 (Large)

Shades used here were China Glaze At Vase Value, China Glaze Desert Sun, Essie Licorice and Ciaté Heirloom. As you may know, I don't usually use browns on my nails, so this is that way very different than most of my creations. The studs used are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC03201 (Large)

Then, something little more party-like.

DSC03247 (Large)

This one is a mani with lots of sparkle and all. As it is holiday season, I figured the right thing to do is to create a design that might inspire at least some of you to do silvery nails for parties. I loved this mani a lot, and even though many might say they're over the top, I personally don't think so.

DSC03269 (Large)DSC03252 (Large)

The shades I used here were China Glaze Elephant Walk, China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara and IsaDora Disco Ball. I think I was kinda inspired to do this because I actually watched Frozen for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I know, I'm so late on that train. The rhinestones I used are from Born Pretty Store.

DSC03259 (Large)

I absolutely loved the ring finger nails, somehow that all glam felt so nice for once. And, the rhinestones stayed on pretty well, even though I was afraid they would fall off right on the next day. Luckily that wasn't the case. The matte finish felt like the right one for this, just to make it a bit different. This would look gorgeous with a shiny top coat as well, but the matte one was more me.

DSC03248 (Large)

So these are my things for you today. I hope you enjoyed this post at least a little bit. ;)

What are your thoughts about these nails? Let me know in the comments below!

Tomorrow, it's time for a little Pori road trip again. I'm so excited for that as it actually means we are outside during daylight and can finally take a round of outfit pics. Yay! I can't even decide what to wear, there are so many looks I'd like to photograph but I can only wear one. First world problems, right? But anyway, I'll talk to you tomorrow, or on Sunday, depending on how long our trip takes. But follow me on social media platforms for more material, if that's what you like.

Have an amazing weekend ♥

Stripes vs. Gradient ♥

Hello my lovelies!

How are you today? ♥ Have you guys missed me? If anyone of you has been wondering the radio silence from my end, it's only because I have a week off now, and for the past few days, I haven't had the time to really sit down and blog, since we've been road tripping again. Yesterday, we were in my birth town and had a lot of fun - but more on that later in its own post. Today, let's talk about nails.

Again, I have two new designs for you - some of you might have seen these already on Instagram, but that's totally cool. You can check them here again, as I have the product details for you.

 photo DSC02158Large.jpg

So first up is a sort of sailor themed design with lots of stripes and some other details. Again, everything is painted by hand, as it gives me better control than using stickers or stamping, but if you were to recreate this, you can totally do that. Whatever feels right.

 photo DSC02166Large.jpg photo DSC02165Large.jpg

I personally loved this design a lot, even if the stripes could've been neater and whatever. Overall, it didn't look too bad. I might try using tape as guide if I did this again, but then, I also would love to train my hands more stable, so... #firstworldproblems

 photo DSC02173Large.jpg

The colors I used were all by China Glaze, except for the blue. colors for this design were: White On White, Seas The Day and Goldie But Goodie. The blue is by Ciaté, and the shade is called Power Dressing.

 photo DSC02176Large.jpg photo DSC02254Large.jpg

The other one today is a design I simply created because I wanted to test drive a color combo. And I was pretty uninspired, to be honest. But it was still pretty nice.

 photo DSC02256Large.jpg

I used China Glaze Fairy Dust after a long time to bring nice sparkle to the otherwise quite simple look. Because glitter makes everything better. I think.

 photo DSC02268Large.jpg

The other polishes I used for this were China Glaze Sweet Hook and Ciaté Headliner. All the studs are from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC02265Large.jpg photo DSC02273Large.jpg

So there you go, two new nail art designs!

Let me know in the comments what you think about these two, if you liked one more than the other, or if there are manicures/tutorials you would like to see!

Now, I'm off to do some school stuff, but also to create my first Halloween look for you guys. I will start posting them at the end of next week, and most of them don't require any special stuff. But I will try to get all up so much before Halloween that you can actually go and buy stuff if you need. Also, we will be having some cute food and decor things here, but more on that later. ;) Stay tuned and catch sneak peeks on my Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (links on the sidebar).

Have a fantastic day you all! ♥

Business Casual ♥

Hello my lovelies!

How has your week started? ♥

I've had it pretty easy with a short school day and a positive little visit to my nutritionist. So the week has started off great, I feel super energetic and good as of right now. I have organized my blogging space, so it's not distracting anymore and I can actually let my thoughts fly here. Which is kind of necessary and amazing for my blogging. At least, that's how I feel. I totally plan on doing the same for all the rooms, so finally the entire apartment well be very organized and uncluttered. Which I need in my life right now.

Anyway, before I go do a new manicure and catch some sleep, I figured I'd come here and share another school outfit. This one is more put together than the previous one, but I guess still not too much so. Let's see what you think!

 photo DSC02126Large.jpg photo DSC02143Large.jpg photo DSC02157Large.jpg photo DSC02150Large.jpg photo DSC02139Large.jpg

Jeans: Only/secondhand Shirt: H&M Shoes: PUMA Blazer: H&M Necklace: Boohoo Scarf: Mango Bag: Mango Watch: Born Pretty Store

Here I was trying to channel a bit more classy and businessy look that was still pretty casual and comfy enough to wear to school. I personally liked the color scheme here a lot, and would see myself wearing this many, many times more in the future. As well as variations of this. We'll see what I come up with. (And, I just figured I should probably iron that blazer when I have some free time)

Let me know your thoughts about this look in the comments below!

Tomorrow, I will be out of the school relatively early, so I hope I will get loads of things done. Like taking photos for the apartment tour update, DIYing some Halloween decorations and things like that. But now, it's time for a small snack and then sleep. Talk to you tomorrow. I hope.

Have a lovely day ♥

Geometric vs. Skulls ♥

Heya guys!

How are you all? ♥

So apparently it's been a week since I posted. Yikes. Didn't mean to stay away so long but schedules have been pretty crazy here. But finally, I sat down, I opened Blogger and actually started typing. And it feels so good.

Some of you may have noticed on Twitter, that I've started thinking about the Halloween already. I'm planning on doing some fun little costume posts (I have six ones I cannot choose from, so I try to make as many of them as I can), nail art ideas, food inspiration - and finally I will show how we celebrate (however lightly) the Halloween at our place. Sounds like fun?

I hope so.

Okay, so today, it's time for some new nail art:

 photo DSC01737Large.jpg

First up, this cool little number inspired by Instagram user @sassyshelly129, who had created a gorgeous striping tape mani I had to try out myself, and I just altered it a bit so it wouldn't be so much copying, but more of a recreation.

 photo DSC01742Large.jpg photo DSC01744Large.jpg photo DSC01751Large.jpg

The polishes I used are all by China Glaze: Desert Sun, Stoked To Be Soaked, Roguish Red and I Sea The Point. And, as mentioned, the patterns were made with the help of striping tape.

 photo DSC01756Large.jpg photo DSC02006Large.jpg

Next, one of my favorite manis ever. This one had so much to it and it was so much fun to paint. I think I will do more these when I have a bit more free time. (So maybe even the coming weekend...)

 photo DSC02008Large.jpg

For those who care, I did paint these 100% by free hand, and I could probably do tutorials for the prints some day if you want to.

 photo DSC02010Large.jpg

Polishes used were Essie Licorice and Muchi Muchi, and the rest by China Glaze: Kalahari Kiss, White On White and Feel The Breeze. Studs are from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC02018Large.jpg photo DSC02021Large.jpg

So these are the pics for today, I really hope you liked this post at least a bit. I had fun making it, no matter what. ;)

Let me know your thoughts about the nails in the comments below!

Now, I'm going to quickly sort out the pictures for tomorrow's post and even though I have 9-hour epic school day, I try to have something fun and new for you to read.

Have a lovely week y'all! ♥

Let's be friends in IG!
