Chunky Knits and Leather Skirts = Autumn Inspiration

You know how in my last outfit post the lighting was shit? Well, today that isn't an issue because I utilized the outdoors and the natural daylight to make the pictures pretty. Something I must do more before the days get too short to take any pics without artificial lights. Anyway, you probably aren't here for lighting talk, but rather to see the outfits, so let's get into that.

rock chic autumn look

Today's look is what I wore to my boyfriend's sister's birthday party with the family, and I thought it was cute enough to share here as well. The outfit includes this cute chunky red knit I found secondhand through Zadaa, and I think it's an amazing autumn piece to wear together with my otherwise dark closet. (Speaking of, if you haven't seen my capsule closet update, you can check it out here!)

And, if you're wondering about the weird net in the background, that's our cat netting so he doesn't jump off the balcony and get hurt/lost. I'm not going to photoshop it away even though it ain't the prettiest so we just have to deal with it. Sorry, not sorry.

I don't know about you, but I get quite the back to school vibes from this look. It may be because of the tall socks and skater skirt combo. And fits to today because I just had a meeting at my school about doing the rest of my studies. So it's kind of a back to school season for me in a way, even though my school will be alongside work. Which is why I mentioned in a previous post that I'll be busy for some while now. And I kinda like that, especially because that means I'm that much closer to finally getting my degree. So be prepared for loosely school-related stuff, which will mostly be life advice type of things and some mentions about things in posts, but it won't be the whole focus of the blog.

In these pics, you get a glimpse of how our balcony looks like. I'm not entirely happy with it so far, which is why I haven't shown it too much anywhere, but I hope that next summer it'll be perfect. I have some DIY plans for it to make it neater, and maybe then it will make a nicer backdrop for photos too. If and when I get the DIYs done, I will most likely share them on Instagram (@silvertigo), so follow me there if you'd like to be the first to know more about that. DIYs are actually something I've been quite passionate about lately, so I would love to share more of them with you. Although some are gifts to be and I can't share them until January most likely. But there are also home decor things and those I would be more than willing to share. If you'd like to see those also here on the blog, let me know that in the comments.

What do you think about this outfit? Let me know in the comments!

That's it for today, but I'll be back soon with another autumn themed post - which I might sneak peek on Instagram within 24 hours... And speaking of Instagram, that's where I share my daily outfits and most of my makeup looks (and more), so if that's something you're into, follow my account @silvertigo. I'll see you in my next post!

Have a lovely day ♥
