Thrifting The Trends: AW19/20 - Color Crush

On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Except that it's Friday and I wore this look on Tuesday... Oh well, I tried. Today, I'm sharing another catwalk-inspired look completely done with what I already have, and proving that you too can be effortlessly stylish without breaking the bank and possibly without even buying anything new.

If you didn't follow this series on Spring and Summer, this is a series where I take trends predicted on fashion week, and show you how to recreate the looks or the trends for less, with items you may already have in your closet. I'm not allowed to buy brand new items for this unless I get it from a thrift store and I can't buy for this at all unless they are things I would buy regardless. As an inspiration, I use the Vogue article here and Pantone article here. The Pantone colors can also be found in this Pinterest post if you prefer more mobile-friendly guide to colors.

Thrifting The Trends: AW19/20 - Statement Tights

Craving for more trend inspiration? I got you covered today. Today we're exploring one way to style statement tights, and I can give ideas how to have a more office-appropriate approach to this trend in case what is shown here doesn't cut it for your life.

Chunky Knits and Leather Skirts = Autumn Inspiration

You know how in my last outfit post the lighting was shit? Well, today that isn't an issue because I utilized the outdoors and the natural daylight to make the pictures pretty. Something I must do more before the days get too short to take any pics without artificial lights. Anyway, you probably aren't here for lighting talk, but rather to see the outfits, so let's get into that.

Festival Outfit Lookbook - Inspired by Elize Ryd

Headed to a rock festival this year but not knowing what to wear? I got you covered girl.

In this post, you can see six looks inspired the queen of metal looks, Elize Ryd. I've said time and time again how I love her style, and while I can't wear these looks to the office nor am I going to too many festivals this year to showcase them for you the regular way, creating a lookbook with them  felt like a nice idea. So without further ado, let's get into it.

Pop of Pink - and thoughts about blogging

It's been longer since the last post than I would've wanted. Last week was a mental rollercoaster for many reasons and I still don't fully feel like myself but I'll get there soon. Today, I wanted to share this little outfit with you and just chit chat a bit.

Halloween 2016: Catwoman

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥ It's time for another Halloween outfit idea post today, and this one may be my favorite this year, due to it being so to create even at last minute and on budget. I literally had everything needed in my closet without ever dressing up as this character before.

Today's character, as title suggests, is Catwoman.

Halloween 2016: Lara Croft

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I'm still a bit hyped about our fun hockey and gaming themed weekend, and therefore I figured this post is the best one to carry on from there. This is also one of the Halloween posts I'm most excited about, so I hope you guys really like it!

Below, I present you my quick Lara Croft interpretation.

Floral With Layers

Hey lovelies! How are you all today? ♥ I had an awesome weekend with boys - regardless of me losing in almost all games we played, except Trivial Pursuit since I'm a book nerd. Today, I'm heading to hairdresser to get a little something done with my hair, and I'm kinda trying something new this time. I've been thinking about a little change for a little while now and I'm pretty sure it's what I want. After all, it's just hair, and it can be done again soon.

Anyway, here's a post with outfit pics including my current - soon to be old - hairstyle.

Grunge Inspired

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been lacking posts for couple of weeks now because of other projects, and I'm sorry I've made you all wait. The wait will be hopefully rewarded starting this week, because the Halloween posts start running on Saturday, and will go on until Halloween. If you're not a Halloween person, don't worry, there will be some normal content too.

Today, I'm sharing an autumn look I absolutely loved a while back:

Army Green

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've been trying to work quite hard on the upcoming Halloween posts this weekend, and I'm really hoping you will like them once I start to publish them next month. Sneak peeks can be spotted on my Instagram story, and I will let you know all over social media when the actual posts are out.

Today, I'm taking a tiny throwback to my previous hair and this summer with the outfit I'm sharing.

Plaid On Plaid

Hello my darlings! How are you today? ♥ It's another new week, and I'm very happy to get to the challenges that await ahead. I can't believe how fast the spring flew by, and you can very well say the past week has really already been summer in here. Although, as we live in Finland that could change tomorrow for all I know. Therefore, I will make the most of jogging now that the weather is amazing. I just mentioned my hubby this weekend that I've never been in better shape that I am right now since I workout so much on weekly basis. And more than that, my anxiety levels are very low. Being the type of girl who can get anxiety attack from one too many cups of caffeine or someone looking at me the wrong way, this has been a wonderful change.

But, without blabbering too much about things that have nothing to do with the actual post, let's get to the point. Today, I'm sharing this simple oufit I wore not too long ago:

Rock the cold ♥

Heya guys!

How are you all! ♥ Long time no talk - or that's how it seems to me right now. We were spending the weekend away, I've been doing school things and planning Halloween posts, so there hasn't been enough hours in the day to do everything (or I just plain suck at planning, don't know). But today, I found the time to sit down and write up something before getting to the Halloween stuff. Which will start tomorrow, are you excited?

I am.

Anyways, let's see the outfit for today's post, shall we?

Jeans: Gina Tricot Boots: SpiritStore Shirt: Cubus Jacket: H&M Bag: from my mom Scarf: Cubus Hat: from my mom Bracelets: Seppälä, Gina Tricot

As the weather gets colder, I get into layering and accessorizing. In this case, I went for a super cozy hat and a big scarf. I would need more of those big and warm scarves - don't get me wrong, I have too many scarves, but not really that many ones for winter and fall. I guess I try to find ones soon. But yeah, the outfit... This totally represents my casual style, like many of you know already. It has elements with rock vibe to it, black leather, boots, skulls and so on, so to me, it's a perfect look.

But, what do you think, let me know in the comments below!

Now, I'll go back to editing pictures and writing stuff, so that I can start posting Halloween stuff for you tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Beach Life ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

It's been so rainy here in Finland these past few days that I really believe it's a good time to pull out these summer pictures. Don't worry, I'll get to the Autumn styles after this week. ;) But today, I wanna share this look I wore when we were visiting Pori at the end of my summer vacation.

 photo DSC00917Large.jpg

Once again we were in Yyteri, which in my opinion is one of the nicest places for photographing in Pori.

Top: Bershka Shorts: Gina Tricot Shoes: SpiritStore Cap: Red Bull store Necklace: Gina Tricot Bracelets: DIY, charity campaign, Accessorize, Gina Tricot, H&M, Europehouse Sunglasses: H&M

So, a simple beach life look. Not exactly what I wore during the days at the beach, but instead what I changed into in evening. I quite liked this one, well, at least it was very comfortable.

What do you think about the look? Let me know in the comments!

Now, I'm gonna enjoy my tea and after that, get to bed. But, I'll talk to you very, very soon!

Have a lovely day ♥

Street-Ready ♥

Hello everyone!

Has your Easter been great so far? ♥

I'm so happy it's a 4-day weekend, we've had such a great chance to relax and hang out with loved ones. But as I still am not back at my laptop, here's a post I wrote for you beforehand on Thursday. It's just an outfit I wore a couple of weeks back, again such a tomboy look, but you know, that's me.

I absolutely love the pink accessories I got a while back from Boohoo.com. They're just perfect for spring and summer looks. Because the bright pink is just the perfect color.

And yes, I'm still the most awkward model ever.

Jeans: Gina Tricot
Sweatshirt: Gina Tricot
Jacket: H&M
Bag: Boohoo
Sneakers: Boohoo
Beanie: Boohoo
Sunglasses: Boohoo
Earrings: Bik Bok

So that kind of a look. A tad of hipster in it, even. I think I look like a teenager though, even if many teenagers nowadays dress up more grownup than I do. Well, hell.

Anyways, I'll get back to you very soon this week with another post. What will it be about? We shall see. I hope to get to the weekend highlights first, but we'll see what the beginning of the week brings.

What do you all think about this look? ♥

Now, time to say bye for a brief moment, see ya soon though!

Have a fab day ♥

Cross My Heart

Hey lovelies!

I hope you're all having a nice start for your week so far ♥

I'm doing fine, trying to have a light week eating-wise so that I could spend the midsummer without thinking if the food is going to make me bloat or not. :D So it's loads of water, only a little carbs, and as much pure and fresh food as possible. Not really a detox, but close enough. I also wish for a good weather, so that we would get to hang out on the beach a lot.

And, in the early afternoon tomorrow/today (Tuesday, that is) I have an appointment with my hair stylist Hanna, who will put my locks in shape for the rest of the summer. What we have in mind? Well, see my IG feed for updates. ;) (@silvertigo, in case you don't follow me yet, but would like to.)

Today's post will show you another summer outfit of mine, with sporty and rock chic elements combined.

Sporty meets rock chic. At least, sort of. Gosh, I should be sleeping instead of typing but... Oh well. Anyway, this look was very "me" in so many ways, the colors are fun, there's many nice details, and the shoes are so comfy! But of course, it's up to you if I did any well.

So, your thoughts? What do you think about this look? What kind of details do you love to have in an outfit? ♥

I'm off now, to get enough sleep. ;) I still have a couple of posts for you before heading to spend some offline quality time with friends and family. Hope you'll enjoy them!

Have a fun day! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo
