How are you all today? ♥

Our project week is coming to an end, only the "fair" and presentations left tomorrow and we are done. Well, to be honest I have to write a report after that to get my points, but still. Little report after this week feels like nothing. And, I'm happy to get back with my girls and the normal school stuff. I'm also pretty happy to notice that now that I don't try to manage a job while studying, my grades are actually getting quite good again. Big yay for that!

Anyway, today I wanted to share a little outfit post with you.

This was such a lovely, yet simple look for autumn days. I love those boots to bits, and should wear them even more than I do already! Unfortunately it's getting way too cold even for this kind of looks (it's snowing right now) so we shall see what I can figure out later for the outfit posts. But yeah, the scarf is a souvenir from my dad from India, it's so, so soft and I absolutely love the colors in it. And as usual, the leather jacket is a must. Those are definitely staples in my closet, leather jackets in many colors.

Now, it's time for me to go get to bed and after that ready for the last day of the week. I'm over the moon when this is over - and if we get any praise about our idea, I'm more than happy. Not that it isn't good, but I don't have any idea what others have. Wish us luck though!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been kinda stressed and exhausted with school work (thank you, Innoevent) these couple of days, and couldn't even manage opening the laptop yesterday. But luckily today, I have a little more energy so I can actually manage writing a decent post.

So, without further ado, here are snapshots from our trip to Helsinki some weeks ago.

Helsinki is very pretty from spring to autumn, so when we visited there on September, I seriously just to had to take pictures of the city. Below, you can also see my outfit for the trip:

I really loved wearing this look, there's not much chances to wear dresses anymore this year, as the weather is getting so cold and everything. The shirt/jacket is such a great find from my fiance's nieces closet, she had cleaned up her (fabulous) wardrobe so I got to rescue it. I love it so much, thank you J! (And feel free to come and raid my old ones as well, girl.) Also, the rings are something I absolutely love here, even though they don't show much, it's nice they've been there because I knew myself there were those small details.

Now, I'm gonna take some time to drink my tea, eat something, read few blog posts and watch TV. I love how this week I don't have to bother so much with the school stuff at home. Although on the weekend and next week, I really have to do so, so much more. Oh well.

How are you today? Did you have nice Halloween? ♥

Mine was spent at home with some treats and my math book, as lame as it may sound. Hence, I didn't have a real costume to share with you. Though, had I done something mildly interesting, I would've gone as Avril Lavigne. (Which I might consider doing a makeup look for, if you're interested.)

For those who wonder why so much beauty stuff lately - well firstly, it was Halloween but also - it is because I have kinda lots going on with school and my (camera) man has a full time job now, so we don't have too much time during daylight. I do have pictures for posts though, so we won't be out of material too soon. But be patient with me doing other lifestyle stuff than clothes. Also, beauty stuff is easier to do when the weather is horrid and there's not enough natural light - though I would need to find a good indoor light for taking pictures, as we witnessed with my Halloween looks (hehe).

Anyway, today, I wanted to share a couple of "normal" nail art designs with you dolls:



First up is a very simple design that absolutely anyone can do at home. It's a color block mani with glitter and studs to make it more interesting. But no special skills required.



The polishes used for this mani were China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara, China Glaze Snow Globe, China Glaze Fairy Dust and Essie Licorice.



The studs are once again from Born Pretty Store, like most of my nail decorations.



This pink number is actually as close as I came to Breast Cancer Awareness nails this year, which is a bit of a shame. But, I fond this pretty little pink glitter polish from my drawer and first time in a year I actually used it. #polishaddictproblems




The polishes I used were China Glaze Feel The Breeze, China Glaze Hello Gorgeous! and Essie A Cut Above. Studs, as usual, are from Born Pretty Store.



Hello Gorgeous! is a polish I can't rave enough about, even though it's an old one already. It's a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign polish from 2012, and it's literally a gorgeous polish full of fine pink glitter that sparkles on the colors of the rainbow when the light hits it. It is absolutely beautiful.



So that kind of simple nails today, nothing too crazy, and actually pretty doable designs, if you are inspired to try these out.

Now, I will watch the aftermath of the F1 race and then go get some much needed sleep, as the coming week is a project week at school, and they say we're going to have more than our hands full with all the things. Seriously, I'm a bit scared of this week. Not gonna lie. I'll do my best with the blogging during the week, but if there's a silence, you know why.

Happy Halloween my darlings!

I hope you're having nice parties today. I'm not, but I finished a pretty confusing class today, so chilling at home is a nice idea. Especially with our cute little decorations, that I will be sharing you below:

We have ghost cupcakes and paw-shaped cookies as a treat - both gluten free so I can eat as much as I like, hehe. Both recipes can be found on Martha Stewart's website, but if you want to make gluten free, you have to figure out the flours yourself. It's easier than you'd think. ;)
