White Vest

Hey lovelies!

How are you today? ♥

I had a very fun work day and after that I've been focusing on crafts and blog stuff - and got to read other blogs after a great while, which was amazing. I've missed that a lot. Today, I just wanted to quickly share this office look with you. I wore this to work a while back and liked it a lot.

Vest: Gina Tricot Shirt: gift from my mom Skirt: Gina Tricot Lace trimmed biker shorts: Gina Tricot Necklace: Gina Tricot Sandals: SpiritStore Bracelets: H&M Rings: H&M, Gina Tricot, Born Pretty Store

So this was a simple look for the office. I think this would've been great with black or white pumps, but I prefer flats at the office because they don't get my feet all sore. I also think the lace peeking from under the skirt was a fun detail, taken that the collared shirt and the leather vest can be though as masculine items. So contrasts. Or something.

What do you think about the outfit? Let me know in the comments below!

Now, I'm gonna go hit the bed so that I'll have enough energy tomorrow. I will be back soon with another post, so stay tuned for that - and in the meantime you can follow me on social media to see more frequent updates.

I love you all so much, have a fantastic day ♥

Simple

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

I started my pre-wedding routines yesterday, which means a bit cleaner eating and more exercising up until the wedding day (and of course hopefully after it as well). I'm not trying to lose weight or even tone my body that much, but it's more about wanting to feel my best on the special day. I will be posting something about that later on, when I get the whole routine figured out and properly on the way. This means using more time on cooking and jogging than before, but on the other hand it will give me so much more energy that it's totally worth the little trouble.

Today, I'm just sharing this quick outfit post with you. The beautiful background is the city of Pori, which we visit regularly as we know a lot of people from there.

Jacket: H&M Jeans: H&M Top: New Yorker Scarf: secondhand Shoes: Boohoo Bag: Mango Necklace: Boohoo Rings: Gina Tricot, H&M Bracelet: Boohoo Flash Tattoos: Shinetattoo.fi

So for once, a pretty simple look with kind toned down accessories. Black leather, subtle leopard print and light white top are the key things here, supported with simple shiny accessories. I'm especially happy with the flash tattoos I received from Shinetattoo, and will probably be wearing those this weekend as well since we're going for a small trip. The nails you see here will be up within few days with the details.

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm heading to bed now, but tomorrow, I have a little girl talk to all you guys. Stay tuned for that, and later this week, we'll talk about nails and other fun stuff. See you soon!

Have a fabulous week ♥

Olive Shirt

Hello my lovelies!

I hope you're all doing fine today. I had a workout day today and I'm pretty much done with the day at the moment. I feel so beat, but I need to still do some stretching before shower and bed. I had such an amazing moment today at work when I learned how to use a program I hadn't even seen before in my life.

Since today's outfit had my favorite olive shirt in it, I figured it's a good time to share these photos, which were taken weeks ago. (I'm pretty behind in these, I know. Don't hate!) I wore this outfit to my first ever blogger event (which I talked about here) and felt so comfy in it.

Jacket: H&M Scarf: secondhand Bag: Mango Shirt: secondhand Jeans: Gina Tricot Wedge Sneakers: SpiritStore Necklace: Gina Tricot Bracelet: Gina Tricot Rings: Gina Tricot, H&M, Born Pretty Store

So there, a simple look with my favorite scarf of the season. Well, my favorite of spring anyway, in summer I don't wear scarves too much. That olive shirt was such a great find, I didn't pay more than 4 Euros for it - if even that - and it's perfect piece to wear at work. And it is in great shape as well, didn't seem worn at all. I paired it with light denim, because to me lightest blue and olive work nicely together.

What do you guys think about this look? Let me know in the comments below!

Now I'm heading to bed because tomorrow is another work day, and I need plenty of energy to get through my tasks. I love how challenging the job is, although it is easy enough to handle all the things that are handed to me. On Friday, I'm treating everyone at work with some gluten free cake, which I started baking today. I gotta say, I might get to be pretty proud of it! I'll be back soon with another post, so stay tuned darlings!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Turquoise vs Pink ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you today? Did you have nice Halloween? ♥

Mine was spent at home with some treats and my math book, as lame as it may sound. Hence, I didn't have a real costume to share with you. Though, had I done something mildly interesting, I would've gone as Avril Lavigne. (Which I might consider doing a makeup look for, if you're interested.)

For those who wonder why so much beauty stuff lately - well firstly, it was Halloween but also - it is because I have kinda lots going on with school and my (camera) man has a full time job now, so we don't have too much time during daylight. I do have pictures for posts though, so we won't be out of material too soon. But be patient with me doing other lifestyle stuff than clothes. Also, beauty stuff is easier to do when the weather is horrid and there's not enough natural light - though I would need to find a good indoor light for taking pictures, as we witnessed with my Halloween looks (hehe).

Anyway, today, I wanted to share a couple of "normal" nail art designs with you dolls:

 photo DSC02315Large.jpg

First up is a very simple design that absolutely anyone can do at home. It's a color block mani with glitter and studs to make it more interesting. But no special skills required.

 photo DSC02322Large.jpg photo DSC02326Large.jpg

The polishes used for this mani were China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara, China Glaze Snow Globe, China Glaze Fairy Dust and Essie Licorice.

 photo DSC02333Large.jpg

The studs are once again from Born Pretty Store, like most of my nail decorations.

 photo DSC02338Large.jpg photo DSC02409Large.jpg

This pink number is actually as close as I came to Breast Cancer Awareness nails this year, which is a bit of a shame. But, I fond this pretty little pink glitter polish from my drawer and first time in a year I actually used it. #polishaddictproblems

 photo DSC02412Large.jpg

The polishes I used were China Glaze Feel The Breeze, China Glaze Hello Gorgeous! and Essie A Cut Above. Studs, as usual, are from Born Pretty Store.

 photo DSC02413Large.jpg

Hello Gorgeous! is a polish I can't rave enough about, even though it's an old one already. It's a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign polish from 2012, and it's literally a gorgeous polish full of fine pink glitter that sparkles on the colors of the rainbow when the light hits it. It is absolutely beautiful.

 photo DSC02420Large.jpg

So that kind of simple nails today, nothing too crazy, and actually pretty doable designs, if you are inspired to try these out.

Let me know what you think about these designs in the comments below!

Now, I will watch the aftermath of the F1 race and then go get some much needed sleep, as the coming week is a project week at school, and they say we're going to have more than our hands full with all the things. Seriously, I'm a bit scared of this week. Not gonna lie. I'll do my best with the blogging during the week, but if there's a silence, you know why.

I will probably, however, be more active on Instagram and Twitter (maybe even Facebook) so if you don't find anything here, check out those for more content.

Have a lovely day ♥

Comfort Zone ♥

Hey babes!

How are you all? ♥

I've been meaning to post this for many days now, but due to this thing called my unexpected life, I just didn't even my computer for few days.

Today, however, I just have few minutes before heading to work, so let's see this outfit out, shall we:

 photo DSC07342Large.jpg

Like the title suggests, this is all about my comfort zone, a.k.a. casual pieces in shades of black and gray. Everything about this look is pure love to me, and I'm so happy it starts to be warm enough for leather jackets out there!

Leather jacket: H&M Jeans: Gina Tricot Shoes: Nelly.com Bag: Boohoo Beanie: DIY Bracelet: Europehouse Shirt: Cubus Necklace: Gina Tricot Rings: Gina Tricot, Nelly.com, H&M Earrings: Gina Tricot

So, a very simple look, totally casual and easy to wear, and all the elements are so comfy to me - on many levels. Like I've mentioned before, this kind of looks are my go-to outfits. Not very girly, but that's me.

What are your go-to looks like? And what do you think about mine? Let me know in the comments! ♥

Now, I must dash. But tomorrow, I will have another fun post for you for sure. ;)

Have a fabulous day! ♥

Neon Top

Hi everyone!

How are you? ♥

I'm so excited that it's the last week of work before vacay - only one shift left on Friday, and I can finally enjoy some time off. I haven't had a proper vacation in years, so I can't wait to reach mine. And on vacation, I will have so much time to blog, which is cool. :) Though one thing I would love you to do is leave me some more questions for the Ask Me Anything post so I can write a proper post answering them. ;) (Click here to leave your questions, and leave as many as you want to!)

Anyway, today's post is just a quick one with an outfit I wore last month. I really liked this look, and would love to figure out a way to interpret this to autumn soon. ;)

Once again, pretty simple look, featuring my favorite black skirt. It's been one of my best purchases ever, I got it for 3 Euros or so, and I've been wearing it countless times. That's what you call a treasure, right? ;) Okay, so, I have not much more to say about the outfit, but I would like to hear what you think.

So, what do you think about the look? Have you any priceless thrift finds in your closet? ♥

I need to go get some sleep now, to try and get my rhythm in place (well, next week will do that anyways, haha) but talk to you all later! ;)

Have a fabulous day ♥

Blog ya later

xoxo

Back to Basics

Hi lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I noticed I had a longer break between the posts than usual, but you know, that's life. Sometimes there's so much more going on. Actually, as I'm typing I should be doing the dishes and finishing off today's workout, but I just couldn't resist the temptation of writing a post for you.

For those few who are wondering how my healthy July is going, I can proudly tell it's going well. I admit that there have been a couple of  setbacks due to schedule issues, but I'm almost where I was supposed to be today.

Now, before today's photos, I would like to remind you to send more questions to the Ask Me Anything post (click the link!), as we still don't have enough there to make a proper answer post. ;) You can ask pretty much anything, it can be about shallow things as fashion and makeup, up to the questions that deal with religion or whatever. There aren't that many things that are simply too personal, so go ahead and ask. Anything you'd like to know about me. :)

Okay, so, to the post in hand. Today's look is a pretty simple one, and it's from a day I couldn't really bother to style a very different and amazing outfit. But we all have those days, right?

Can you believe those glasses came from a grocery store? Okay, from a big one, but still. Goes to show that not every accessory needs to be Gucci or something to look great. Actually, every single thing on this outfit has been bought with some sort of discount. I'm a bargain hunter, which is essential when loving fashion but needing to shop on a tiny budget because of studying and such. In the end, though, style is about how you put pieces together, not where you buy them. ;)

That text really didn't have to do much about the look itself... Oh well, it's so basic there's hardly anything for me to say about it. Simple items, easy colors, very basic - meaning, I love it. Not that I don't love details, but you need different things sometimes.

But what do you guys think about this simple look?

In the morning, we're getting up quite early, and we will get once again on the road to go help my fiance's family to paint a small building. Nice way to spend a sunny day off, I think. And it's been a long time since I last got to paint anything bigger than a nightstand. (Which reminds me, I still haven't posted pictures of our not-so-new-anymore bedroom... I try to get on that next month when I have my summer vacation!)

Anyway, I'm off now, to finish off a couple of tasks before heading to bed!

Have a lovely day! ♥
