What Does Your Hair Say About You?

Few days ago it felt again like it's time to refresh my hair. I have an event to go to in couple of weeks so I thought a fresh color would be kinda nice. Once again I used Manic Panic colors, this time Cotton Candy Pink, Cleo Rose and Hot Hot Pink. I love how easy it is to play with hair colors when you use Manic Panic, especially if you have very light hair.

Decluttering My Closet

Lately I've been in a mood to make changes. Changes with my lifestyle, my daily rhythm, my home and so on. Since last summer I've been in a mental state that have required me to really get in touch with my feelings and my values, and I've had to learn all over again what are the things that make me happy and make me - well, me. One of the points is re-thinking my style and the items I have in my wardrobe. Not that I would be completely changing my style into something else, but rather streamlining it a bit and getting rid of things that don't fit, don't look nice or don't make me happy.

Perfect Fall Outfit Lookbook

I know it's nearly December and the title really doesn't fit the time, but on the other hand, the weather in Finland is quite fall-like still so this is kind of relative post. And if all else fails, this can work as an inspo for the next year, right? Today, I'm showing you some perfect fall looks that can be easily transformed to fit most girls' styles. I'm focusing mostly on things I like in fall styles, which are:

- Nice boots/booties
- Plaid
- Warm scarves
- Layers
- Rock chic edge

Keeping that in mind, I created three different outfits - all of which serving a bit different weather. I know most of my audience comes more or less from North America, so I tried to create a lookbook that would give inspiration to everyone, not depending on what kind of climate you live in. Here in Finland the weather changes from very warm early fall into super cold, nearly winter-like late fall around this time. But it can literally have anything in between during the whole fall - or even in one day, so I also need to know how to dress in different weather situations.

Blogmas Day 17, Gluten Free Gingerbread

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I've had extremely busy day for a day off, I've literally been bare faced and in gym clothes because I've had no time to dress up. But that's okay, because excitingly enough, I'm collaborating today with the lovely ladies from Nerdly Beautiful and Jenessa Michele to bring you all fun Christmas themed posts, so definitely go and check them out too, I absolutely love their blogs!

We're all doing Christmas recipes, and mine of course is gluten free one. I did traditional Finnish gingerbread as a gluten free version, and now you can do so too!

Halloween 2015: Glitter Makeup

Hello lovelies!

How are you? ♥

As promised, here is the last Halloween look of the year. I realized I didn't go very gore with this year's looks, but I don't mind. There are more talented ones who do great SFX stuff if you're more into that.

My last Halloween look is this super glittery one that was inspired by both Kesha and glam rock, and I didn't know what to call it exactly so let's call it Glitter Makeup. Unless you have a cooler name for it.

Great clothing for the look is for example a cute black dress (ignore me wearing pants under there), or anything leather. I had a lot of fun playing with the glitter here, although the remains will haunt me through next year. You can rock this look with any hair color, but I loved pairing it with the black wig to make it more edgy.

Now, I'm heading straight to bed, because my sleep is a bit overdue and tomorrow is a long day at the office with a ton of things to do. I try to get something for you to read tomorrow, but won't make promises because I don't know how to day will evolve. But I will see you as soon as possible. In the meantime, follow me on social media to catch up with the latest!

Glam Up with Anjolee

Hello lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been pretty swamped with everything, especially because of the upcoming wedding and the fact I actually need six to nine hours of sleep every day. So if I'm MIA for a couple of days from the blogosphere, I'm just sorting out my wedding. So no need to worry.

And as I'm all about weddings, what better idea than to talk a bit about girly jewelry? Today I'm teaming up with Anjolee to show you some of my current favorites in their collection. These would be perfect accessories for weddings and other fancy events, and I would definitely wear their jewelry for special occasions if I had the chance. All the pictures borrowed from their website, so big thanks for Anjolee for letting me use them for the post!

First up some gorgeous bracelets I found browsing their site. Especially the third one is right up my alley, as you can probably believe if you're a long-time reader here. I love how sparkly they all look, and I can only imagine how stunning they are in real life.

Next up are some earrings. Can you guess my favorite?

Yes, the bottom right on it is. Although they are probably all very flashy, I can definitely name the journey earrings my favorite. They look like a perfect match to a gorgeous evening gown. Definitely even red carpet material.

Then, some necklaces. Although I'm an avid fan of long necklaces, these sophisticated ones did caught my eye while browsing the site. Especially the top one looks like something I would wear on a special occasion, I love the design a lot.

Last but not least, wedding rings. I have mine picked out (I'll show that to you closer to the wedding), but I still love browsing the options. The thing I like about Anjolee's selection is that they have these adorable matching sets of engagement and wedding rings. That's cool because it makes sure your two rings are actually made for each other - like husbands and wives, right? These four sets definitely caught my eye the most, and my absolute favorite here is the first one. It reminds me of my own set of rings (though mine, in real life, aren't completely matching, just close enough) and I could see that in my finger if I didn't have ones already.

If you like how these precious things look, I recommend you to check out Anjolee's site. Their jewelry can be customized to your taste, they offer different metals and jewels, though the option differ from design to design. Like I said, I'm personally very fond of their wedding ring sets (click the link to see more of them) and I'm sure there are some of you reading this that enjoy their jewelry as well.

What is your dream wedding ring like? Let me know in the comments!

Now this bride-to-be needs to hop in the shower and get to bed so I have the energy to face tomorrow and the new challenges. On Saturday, it's time for my bachelorette party, and I'm super excited to see what the girls have come up with. Also, tomorrow I'm starting the #junebeautychallenge on Instagram, so tag along there if you're into beauty related things. Let's do it together!

Have a fabulous week ♥

Sunny Day With Hawaiian Tropic ♥

Hello lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

It's so nice and sunny here in Finland and I've been enjoying my free afternoons outside - except for today, when I've had like a thousand things to do inside. Boo. But today, I really wanted to share this quick little post with you, and on the bottom, there's a little surprise for my Finnish readers (sorry my international friends, but this wasn't up to me).

The following products have been sent to me as a collaboration. However, the opinions are my own and I don't post about things I don't like or approve of.

Few days back, the mailman came with this package I didn't remember ordering. What was inside?

 photo DSC08780Large.jpg

A lovely basket from Reddville SheSocial, who have this nice campaign with Hawaiian Tropic that I was lucky enough to get in along other great bloggers. I received four delicious smelling products that are said to pamper my skin during and after sunbathing. Well, after smelling them through, I totally agree that they smell amazing. And yesterday, I actually put three of these to the test as I was having my first proper beach sunbathing of this summer.

 photo DSC08882Large.jpg

First, I started with a clean and dry skin, and applied a layer of the Tanning Oil. Now, for those who don't know, this isn't a self-tanner or anything, but it is - I think - to help you get a tan a bit easier or so. I've never tried this before, so it was pretty exciting. This doesn't have a sunscreen in it, so I wouldn't leave the house without a sunscreen. This one smells like coconut and it feels pretty good on the skin.

 photo DSC08886Large.jpg

At the beach, I had this low protection Dry Spray Oil with me. It has SPF 10, which really, to me, is very low, but for the sake of experimenting, I reasoned it's enough for now. This also smells like coconut, so I didn't feel weird putting this on top of the tanning oil when the sun started to feel a bit too hot on my skin.

 photo DSC08888Large.jpg

After the sunbathing, I got home and washed off the oils from my skin. They were pretty easy to clean, even with the dry spray oil being water resistant. Then, I added the After Sun Moisturizing Lotion, which felt pretty soothing on my skin, and it smells like tropical fruits with a hint of aloe vera. So it's a nice product to add on the previously sun-kissed skin.

The one I didn't get to try out so far is the SPF 30 Sunscreen, but it feels nice, and it smells pretty tropical as well, so I can definitely see myself trying that out later this summer - maybe already this weekend.
