12 Days of Christmas: Simple Gift Ideas That Will Fit Your Budget

If 2020 has taught me something, it is to value things based on the thought that goes into them rather than what their monetary value is. Especially now that meeting people is tricky if not impossible, I truly appreciate the little things that are thoughtfully picked or made for me.

And I'm sure many feel the same. So in this post, I'm listing few gift ideas that don't require big budget or can easily be adjusted to fit your budget. I'm sure these are ideas that are readily available in other sources too, but these are some I've tested out in recent years and people have really like them. I know this is probably a little late for this year, but save it for next year or for another occasion you need simple gifts for!

Ready? Let's go.

Lithuanian Surprise Box

A while back, my friend Vita suggested a Christmas time box swap. I haven't done a swap with anyone in years, so I got excited right away. We had talks about what categories each one would include, and agreed to general rules for it. And we would have no clue what the other has chosen into the box before opening our own one up. If you want to see what I got for her, you need to head on her Instagram @vi.kazlauskaite and check through her pics to find out, but I will share you what she generously got for me on this post.

DIY Christmas Gifts

I've been dreaming about making some of the Christmas gifts myself for years, but haven't really been in a place to do so until now. Now, before we go all in to this post, if you belong to the inner circle of mine (you know who you are, darlings) DO NOT read any further. This post will contain part of your presents so don't go spoiling yourselves, please! If you are not someone who would possibly receive a present from me, go ahead and continue along!

Pics From Christmas

It's been a couple of weeks since I last blogged, and while I had nice posts planned, also life happened and I had to focus on living offline instead of prioritizing all the posts. I'm sorry if that let anyone down. But also, what you don't know is that I spent this Christmas with a new boyfriend, new extended family and got sick just before Christmas so there has been a lot going on. I'm sure next year will be more chill, so I added the planned posts to next holiday season's agenda and will probably prepare them well ahead.

To summarize our Christmas, I'm sharing some pictures of it today. It's not a super long post - those kinds will follow next month - but I thought this was least I could do since I kind of disappeared just before Christmas.
