i say Products

Hello my lovelies!

How are you all today?

I've been having a great day with work, baking, training and all the other stuff. I'm going to keep today's post quite short because I should be already sleeping but instead I need to go to shower and do other things first. So, to the point, right?

DSC07776 (Large)

Last month, I received a package from Reddville, containing all sorts of little pink boxes. They were i say products, which are targeted for women, and especially for taking care for your intimate parts. I still keep blushing as I type this, because this topic isn't necessarily natural for me. But, let's give it a try, were all friends here, right?

So the i say products have both tests (for intimate infections) and care products (both daily and for the infections) in the range, and luckily I haven't needed all of them yet. But I can say I find it very interesting that they have launched this kind of line, because the packaging is so cute even I would feel comfortable buying them if I needed one.

Bonus product was a Sea-Band sickness preventing bands, which can relieve morning sickness during pregnancy, motion sickness or even sickness caused by radical medical treatments. I'm not pregnant so far, and don't suffer ill feelings too much anyway, but I'm very curious to try them out if I will get bad morning sickness in the future.

DSC07778 (Large)

Now, there are couple of things I have tried, and actually liked so far. Those are the intimate wipes (as I'm a sucker for any cleansing wipes in general) and the intimate mousse intended as a part of your daily shower routine. Both of the products have Cranberry-Active compound in them (as all the products besides the tests), which supposedly is good for your lady parts, as cranberry in general is. I think these cleansing product work nicely, and I've felt pretty good using them so far. (TMI already?)

I can't say too much about the tests so far, but the thought of being able to test some intimate infections at home instead of an awkward visit to the doctor sounds very tempting to me. If you happen to need a balancing product, I think these should be at least considered as an option.

Hope this wasn't way TMI for you all, I promise next one will be lighter one!

Now, I'm heading to shower and bed, because I'm already terribly behind my schedule. But that's why they've invented caffeine, right? ;)

Have a fabulous day you all ♥

July LivBox

Hiya babes!

How are you all today? ♥

I had a fun day today, I visited the museum center Vapriikki with my fiance, and in the evening I had some tea, sympathy and nail art time with two of my lovely friends, P and M. We hadn't had a meeting since forever, so finally last week P was the brave one and contacted us to get together soon. So today, we had a chance to catch up and have some girl time. And after hanging out with boys for way too long, I guess it was good to have some girl interaction.

But as you know, my blog rarely lacks girly stuff, and so today, I'm going to share with you my July LivBox. I know this is a bit late, but at least I shouldn't be spoiling anyone, haha. I almost forgot this post, but I went through my photos and noticed I hadn't posted these yet. I'm such an airhead sometimes, and that's not cool.

Anyway, here's my July LivBox:

 photo 6025ffc4-201d-47f1-ac30-bf8fba9bf0b2.jpg

I was happy to see that the month's color was yellow, which I had suggested for them along other girls to be the color of one of the summer boxes. Thanks for making the box yellow, team! I love it. ♥

 photo 3239ffe0-dbad-4547-ad86-43ff8e10b6ca.jpg

Strangely enough, there was no item list included this time. It was confusing, but I thought that's something I could live with.

 photo 2cd93a3d-c0fe-4aad-b1f9-aef524ebedc3.jpg

Instead, on top of everything was this Glitter Hair Guide. More on that a bit later in this post. ;)

 photo 582a9927-d1e9-4a19-b995-821e3a981012.jpg

Okay, so I had heard rumors about this box concentrating on hair. I just couldn't guess it would go all hair. Oh well, looks good anyways.

 photo 0caf09c1-ea05-4ba6-b5e9-d829ffda0e20.jpg

The first item is  Sunsilk Co-creations Pro Heat Heat Protection Spray. Unfamiliar product for me so far, but seems promising. I've tried some Sunsilk products before and they've worked well for me. Not my favorites, but good enough for everyday use.

 photo 895440f2-5627-4936-a8f0-3db9439b4124.jpg

Next up: Herbina Volumizing Dry Shampoo. Dry shampoos are a necessity for me as I try not to wash my hair too often. So I'm always happy to try new dry shampoos/hair powders, since I'm still on a phase of figuring out my favorite among them. This one here smells adorable, and truly gives some volume to the hair. It also makes it so much easier to go another day without washing your hair.

(For those who think it's super gross to only wash your hair twice per week, read more. It's not really good for your hair - or your scalp - to keep washing it daily with a shampoo. That very often causes your scalp to dry, and then the hair starts looking sick, too.)

 photo f1c30dac-bea4-40cc-9b3f-9ea9d1e76060.jpg

Then, the Glitter Hair Guide. This one is a small magazine including fun hairdo ideas, with step by step instructions and it also shows which kind of items you'd need to create them. Now, of course it has lots of product placements by Glitter in it, but still, it's a fun option for a traditional commercial leaflet. So thanks Glitter, this truly was a fun surprise!

 photo 0d75fb4a-2928-4633-a9e0-84edd7fd4ec0.jpg

This look sort of caught my eye. I should definitely get few pink clip-on stripes for my hair. I think that would be so fun!

 photo c51fd797-3ad1-4286-a840-3f54e77ff567.jpg

Next thing on my LivBox was this Hair Bun Rat by Glitter. I actually already had even a couple of these, but one is made out of an old sock, and other one is for darker hair, so I guess this came in time to save me, haha.

 photo e831c870-6a5f-492e-8acd-5a2bcda8e575.jpg

Next item I got was this pack of Hair Pins by Glitter. I probably won't learn to use these in forever, but as I got them from the box, I guess I have a reason to try and learn, right?

 photo ef3d272e-04c0-4a9a-b48a-eacb6e4b4088.jpg

 photo d019c9bf-6758-4249-9467-6293d9239c1c.jpg

Probably the most interesting product in the box was Bonacure Hairtherapy FiberForce Hair Mask. I haven't tried this out yet, but I guess the bleached ends of my ombré hair would totally love this. If I find this product totally awesome, you'll hear about it later. ;)

 photo 4819c756-ef3d-434e-9dad-10880815a19b.jpg

And last but not least, Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm. I haven't even opened this one yet, as I have 3-4 lip balms in use as we speak. I know, it's crazy, but that's the way I am with lip balm. Always having too many opened. And still my lips are always dry. Weird. (Well, not weird, just tells me I don't drink enough water.)

So anyway, kinda nice box again, though I would've loved to see more makeup in it. But, this was a hair box, so given that, it was good.

What do you think about the products? Have you tried any of these?

Now, I need to go catch some sleep, and try to get some decent sleeping rhythm. (Like that's gonna happen...) But please take a minute to help me create a nice post for you next month, and submit questions under the Ask Me Anything post. I appreciate each question you send there, and will try to give good answers later on. ♥

Have a fabulous day!

Blog ya later,

xoxo

Hiya babes!

How are you all today? ♥

I've been having amazing time with my boys the past few days - and hence have not been so active online. :) But yesterday, our mailman brought me a nice package for me, and I thought I should share that with you today.

 photo DSC02259bLarge.jpg

The package was, of course, the latest edition of LivBox, and I was happy to see the chosen theme was Summer, and the color this month was sunny orange.

 photo 2503260d-8ae8-4884-a398-859d6c7bcc8a.jpg

 photo 48b0e62b-b637-48ab-844c-cb716d64cc51.jpg

The list of products got me pretty curious, as they were brands I had heard of, but never dared to try them out. So this is a great chance to get to know them more.

 photo eafe268a-a73f-4b17-a8c8-b54974029623.jpg

Under the orange wrapping there was a nice bunch of products, and three of them were actually the normal size instead of sample size.

 photo DSC02267Large.jpg

Clarins Skin Perfecting Cream

A BB cream with a hint of perfume to it. Promises to blend in perfectly, includes sunscreen, and is supposedly good for the skin. I only tried this on my hand so far, but it seems impressive. I will test drive this better when my current BB cream runs out.

 photo 41b3df6a-9469-4ce6-bb06-badd6a98ddf0.jpg

Olay Total Effects Day Moisturizer

Another moisturizer from these boxes. Some people think it's lame there are these each month, but I find it convenient, since it's easier to look fresh when your skin is feeling well. This moisturizer comes with SPF 15, which is awesome for summer, and it also clears out the signs of ageing. (Not too important for me yet, but nice feature anyways.) The smell is pleasant - reminds me bit of a sunscreen, actually - but not too powerful. So this fits for a allergic person such as me. The cream moisturizes the skin instantly and absorbs very quickly as well. Totally a great product for summer - especially when it's such a convenient size. ;)

 photo DSC02271Large.jpg

Piz Buin Tan & Protect Tan Intensifying Sun Lotion

These tan intensifying sun lotions are a new thing for me, so I don't really have an opinion about them. I actually bought one this month, but haven't busted it out just yet. This one, however, smells quite nice and spreads nicely to the skin. I need to try this out on a super sunny day before really giving any more details about it, but it seems promising.

 photo DSC02272Large.jpg

Depend Nail Polish - Shade 318

Cute minty/pistachio-like shade with a tiny metallic glow. I have tried Depend before, and for such an affordable brand, the polishes are pretty good. The size of them is nice even for travelling, and they come in such many colors that anyone can find their favorite there. So, for a girl who likes to do their nails, but doesn't want to spend too much on polish, I would recommend this brand quite warmly. This isn't necessarily my go-to shade in the summer, but I'm sure I'll find use to it in Autumn. (Or when I get a better tan, whichever comes first.)

 photo DSC02274Large.jpg

MSCHIC Lip Kiss Lip Gloss - Shade French Pink

Very cute nude shade, with a tiniest hint of gold to it. Looks so much better on lips than on the tube. Isn't as sticky as most of the lip glosses, which is super cool. It is very shiny, and quite rich in pigment even with only a thin coat on. As I like strong eye makeup, this lip gloss is a perfect addition to my makeup bag, since it makes it easy to bring out the lips without making the whole look too heavy.

 photo DSC02276Large.jpg

Sebamed After Sun Soothing Balm

The perfect summer product. It takes care of the skin after sun, sooths, cools down and prevents the skin from premature aging (from the sun). The balm feels really nice on the skin, and I really think it will work wonders on sun-kissed skin. I need to try this out next time I spend a long time in the sunlight. I think it's super fun they gave out this product on full size instead of sample size, as you get to properly try it out.

Now, what do you have to say about these products? Have you tried any of them? Would you recommend them - or do they have better alternatives on the market? Share your thoughts! ♥

I'm off now, to catch up on my TV shows and eat something (I'm starving here...) but I'll get back to business as soon as I can. ;)

Have a fantastic week! ♥

Blog ya later,

xoxo

May LivBox ♥

Hiya Lovelies!

Happy Tuesday ♥

It's the second day of my detox week, and I'm starting to feel the results. I haven't done my work out at all this week - yet - but I'm planning to start tonight after work. Today, however, I'm feeling the fluids moving inside, which isn't too comfortable, but necessary for this week to work. If everything goes well, this will more or less become a lifestyle. But more on that next week. ;)

Today our mailman brought me something fun again. My May LivBox!

Finnish readers, if you haven't opened yours, don't spoil the surprise by scrolling down ♥ Ja sama suomeksi, jos et vielä ole avannut tämän kuun LivBoxiasi, välty spoilaantumiselta ja sulje tämä blogi selaimestasi nyt! ♥

 photo e441b604-32cd-44e0-ae21-fd7e5dc76a16.jpg

I was happily surprised by the bright red color of the bow on the front, it made me instantly feel like there would be nice girly things inside.

 photo 260eb6ac-1013-4a10-a685-1a3e724f4d62.jpg

The name in the product menu, Roman Holiday, supported my theory of nice girly things. Exciting!

 photo eca3a92d-7800-4302-bf5a-5199a5247f90.jpg

And after reading the menu through, I couldn't wait to rip the whole thing open.

 photo 1b741491-dbff-4b1c-b769-f3f0f2f1360c.jpg

Looking good, huh?

 photo 71dff4c2-6857-4ac0-b997-e4dc0279eb2f.jpg

Not a bad box at all... Let's take a proper look to the products.

 photo 5ef60646-fcee-429a-95c2-f8cbff4c5770.jpg

Eylure Individual Lashes

A brand I've actually used before, I totally like their lashes, and was just the other day thinking about getting new individual lashes, so this couldn't have been better! I'll be definitely using these later in the parties and such.

 photo 59d7dbdb-f530-4528-8dee-a2030bde3373.jpg

Papier Poudré Paper Powder

I remember how my mom had these when I was a little girl, and I remember how it was so fancy to get to use them sometimes even though I didn't wear almost any makeup back then. Absolutely a great product for travel, when you need to patch up your makeup from time to time. So excited for this one too.

 photo 253d3552-bb80-49fa-80b1-ffd80caa8c28.jpg

Lash Card

Seriously? They make stuff like this? I'm excited to try this, but there's also another trick to prevent clumping,. So, if you use affordable brands, just like me, I don't think this is a very needed product, but for those who use Dior or other more pricey brands, this is a great deal - I guess.

 photo e8dd0fb3-1d04-490c-9b7d-ac8e68fc0a30.jpg

Académie Crème Veloutée Hydrating Treatment (+ 10eur gift card)

Yet another fun moisturizer (seriously, thanks to LivBox I don't need to buy the big ones as I get new moisturizer every month ;)). This one smells good, is easy to apply, and absorbs well to the skin. This sure is a great addition to my moisturizers.

 photo 550432ef-f653-444e-b3c0-0a3afcc007a8.jpg

Lavera Basis Sensitiv Hand Cream

Deliciously scented moisturizing cream for hands. It includes chamomile, shea butter, and other goods for your skin. This little baby goes straight to my handbag, as my job makes my hands dry up totally and completely. This might just be the savior. It absorbs well and moisturizes the skin instantly.

And, last but certainly not the least:

 photo 0fac63cf-d8aa-495e-9f6a-1f142947106c.jpg

Ciaté Mini Paint Pot ♥

A fabulous little Ciaté bottle that I couldn't even find first (it had dug its way to the bottom of the box, under the black shreds) but when I did, I literally yelled with joy. I got a fantastic little shade called Heirloom (nr. 116) and have already an idea how to use that in a manicure. Heirloom is a neat glitter polish, that has very fine glitter in it, and it has a beautiful duochrome effect to it. I'm sure this will get a lot of use, especially when the autumn arrives - but probably already sooner.

So, what do you guys think about the products? Are these new to you, or have you tried them out before? ♥

And to my Finnish readers: Joko sinä olet avannut oman LivBoxisi? Mitä boxistasi löytyi, ja mitä pidit tuotteista? :)

I gotta go now to prepare a dinner before going to work, but I'll be back soon! ;)

Have a beautiful day!

Blog ya later,

xoxo

February LivBox

Hey lovelies!

Are you having a fun week? ♥

I just got back from Stockholm this morning, and I'm so tired I can't even describe it. We had so much fun on our school trip, and there's a lot of photos I will post later on. When I got home I noticed I had a little package waiting for me at the post office, so I rushed off to get it home, and once I did, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that it was my very first LivBox I had ordered last month.

For those who don't know, LivBox is kind of an equivalent for the infamous Glossybox. But as Glossybox isn't available in Finland, I was more than happy to welcome the LivBox concept and decided to try it after seeing it featured in one of my favorite blogs, Curiouser & Curiouser. And below you can see the February LivBox in pictures.

 photo DSC09109.jpg

The box itself was packaged in a cute, simple way, which I personally liked a lot.

 photo cf75d4e6-c97e-45c2-af16-379c36ec3da4.jpg

I was so excited when I saw the pink wrapping inside the box...

 photo de705811-b3ed-4997-a67c-6e1255124e5a.jpg

...and when I read the list of things included in the box, I got even more excited!

 photo DSC09114.jpg

And then the products inside. Only of them was familiar to me before getting this package, and the other ones I will be testing as soon as I get the chance.

 photo DSC09116.jpg

The biggest item in the package was Love Story Body Butter by We Care Icon. I have eyed their products in the stores, but have never been curious enough to buy any, so this is a nice opportunity to try the brand out.

 photo DSC09118.jpg

The one I was completely familiar with was Essie nail polish in the shade Muchi Muchi. I happen to have this one already, but it's such a pretty shade I gladly welcome a spare bottle into my collection. (Oh, and if you're interested in an updated nail art stash post , just say the word. I would be happy to do that.)

 photo DSC09120.jpg

Next ones are three little tubes of Olay products from the brand's Regenerist line, and even though I'm kinda feeling I'm still a bit young for these products, I might test drive them out. These would be perfect for traveling, as I tend to look pretty tired and washed out on the road.

 photo DSC09122.jpg

And then there were three different fragrances, one for men, and two for women. I was thrilled to know there might sometimes be these little gifts for men as well, as I can share the fun better with my fiance this way. I might bust out the Gaga fragrance already in the morning, to see how it acts when worn the whole day.

All in all, the box seems like a great deal, when you think that the Essie polish alone costs as much in Finland as the whole box. My Finnish readers can go see more about the LivBox in their website, where you can also register for your own package of goodies. I can't wait to get the next box, it's like having a Christmas or birthday when opening this box.

Have you subscribed for any of this kind of monthly goodies, and how has that been for you? Share your thoughts in the comments! ♥

I'm off to bed now, and I try to catch enough rest for the busy day tomorrow. I hope you're all having a fantastic start for your weekend - and I'll be back as soon as I possibly can!
