Jeffree Star Blood Lust Collection Review

This post is massively overdue, but hey, here we go. I'm not going to further address the elephant in the room that is the pandemic, because I assume if you're reading this instead of the news, you rather escape the reality for a minute o few. So do I. And therefore without further ado, let's take a moment to discuss Jeffree Star Blood Lust collection, and more specifically the items I got from it; the palette and the mini lipstick bundle. At the end of the post, I'll also show you some of the looks I've made with the palette.

China Glaze OMG! Flashback collection

Who doesn't love shiny things? I do, a lot. So when China Glaze announced they're bringing back polishes from ten years ago - and they would be more or less holo - I knew I had to get them. For once the collection is only six bottles big so I could somewhat justify getting them all.

TAM Beauty Haul & Review

Hey lovelies! How are you today? ♥

It's been some days since my last post, and I probably should come up with something else than a haul again, but I've had this one in my drafts too long. So today, it's time to talk a little bit about makeup:

Makeup Revolution Ultra Salvation Lip Collection Review

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥

Today I'm talking a bit about something I bought quite a while ago, but can really now properly tell you about since I've gotten to use it a lot.

Makeup Revolution I ♥ Makeup Super Wow Lip Colour

Hello lovelies! How are you today? ♥ I have been more energetic than usual for the start of week. I guess it's all the light as well as getting a hang of a proper daily schedule. It also encourages me to do even more for the blog since there's so much more daylight and that naturally means more chances to take photos. I've also totally organized our bedroom closets (well, at least my own clothes), which makes waking up so pleasant since I see a super neat room when I open my eyes. Can't wait to get the whole apartment - every box, every closet, every shelf - as neat. It's so therapeutic to get rid of old stuff I don't need, and it's addictive as well.

Today, however, I wanted to share a quick little makeup post with you:

First Impressions ♥

Hey lovelies!

How are you all today? ♥

I'm hoping your weekend was as good as mine, we visited relatives and just chilled at home - and YES I got some outfit pics taken. So big win this weekend, indeed. I've also been planning buying a new laptop once the after Christmas sales start because my recent one is having issues with itself. Of course, it is almost five years old and I use it pretty much daily so I think it's safe to say it has served me well.

Today, I wanted to do a bit different post. Last Thursday I had a day off, and I decided to try three new products out, one of which I had bought long ago, and two that I recently got.

Schwarzkopf Blonde Anti-Orange Refresher Mousse

Well, I know my hair doesn't necessarily have too much orange in it (anymore, as I have dyed it all out), but this was on sale a long time ago and I picked it up to try it out. I wanted to see if it does anything at all to my hair, as it anyway promises to neutralize and freshen up the hair color.

I started with this, my unwashed, little bit yellow hair. As you can see, it has all kinds of warm tones in it. Again, not too, too much orange, but still. I washed my hair, and then applied the product as told in instructions.

In the after picture, I think the texture of the hair may make more difference than the product really. I think it is a bit more neutral here than before, but not any drastic differences. The product made my hair dry up quite a lot, and it took me a while to take all the knots out for the picture. Of course, my hair is a bit difficult as it is, even when it's not too dry, so that's an issue that occurs with quite many products. For me, this probably wasn't the most amazing product ever, but if some of you have had great experiences with it, I'd like to hear about them.

Rimmel London ScandalEyes Rockin' Curves Mascara

This was something I needed to buy once I broke my favorite £1 mascara by dropping it to the floor. I know, pretty talented, huh? But anyway, I had a hard time choosing from all the ones they sell on the department stores. Until I saw this. Once you put together snake print and the word "rock", you can assume I'm listening. I had to try this one out. Swatches and more below!

Maybelline ColorSensational #900, Pink Pop

I was actually looking for a new nude/mauve color (I know, we all wanna try the Kylie lip, right?), but then I ran into this and couldn't even dream about a plain nude color anymore. I already own this one's sister, Fuchsia Flash and I love that one so much I figured this lighter one would totally be a necessity.

Full face shot with both of the makeup products mentioned above. The lighting sucks yet again but let's not mind about that too much, okay?

So here are the swatches for the mascara. I really think it makes the lashes nice and curved, and it holds pretty well even with few coats. It doesn't flake too much even though it looks like that here because I just threw it on and weren't as careful as I normally am while doing my makeup. I would recommend this, but to be honest I haven't had too many mascaras that wouldn't have worked. Somehow they usually always seem to work for me. Still, I haven't found my dream mascara, so the search is on.

And lastly, swatches of my new lipstick. It's a lovely bright pink that literally pops. You know how I love those. The lipstick is nice and moist, as it is not a matte one, so it's pretty easy to work with. I have two coats here, but it would probably look awesome with one coat as well. But I kinda thought more is more. I know, I'm crazy. But I think this color is pretty cool, since I've gotten compliments on it from my friends who are guys. And my fiance, but he's biased so that doesn't really count. I'm pretty sure I will buy even more of the shades in spring, at least the coral one which looks absolutely perfect.

Have you tried any of these? How did you like them? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm going to hit the bed now, but hopefully I'll get a post up for you again tomorrow. I love reading your comments and reactions so leave those below to brighten my day. If you like the cosmetics posts, stay tuned for a haul/swatch post coming up within a couple of weeks when my Makeup Revolution order arrives. There's so much to show to you. Also, I have other cool things coming up, so check back from time to time or follow me on my social media accounts to updates whenever I post new stuff. Talk to later!

Have a great day honeys ♥
