Sparkle, Sparkle ♥

Hello lovelies!

How was your weekend? ♥

We were spending ours in Pori, visiting relatives and we also went bowling with our friend J. It was all so much fun and totally made me ready to face the new week. Only two weeks of school, and I'm done for 2014. That is pretty awesome, even though I still have a project and three exams to go. On the coming week, I will be showing you a haul or two, and other fun things. But let's wrap this week up with some fabulous sparkle, shall we?

So, last week, I had a moment on the Essie nail polish aisle on my grocery store, as I finally had the extra money to buy the two new Essie Luxeffects polishes that have been launched this year. These are called Summit of Style (on the left) and Rock At the Top (on the right).

DSC03835 (Large)

Summit of Style is a beautiful rose gold/coppery gold glitter top coat, and Rock At The Top is exactly same in gold. They have various sizes of hex glitter in them, and they look amazing over any plain polishes. These are similar to previous Luxeffects polishes Cut Above and Set In Stones, both of which I also own but have been dreaming about a gold one since before these were released. So naturally I was way too happy to get these.

Another polish I bought not too long ago is Rimmel London Glitter Bomb top coat in the shade Disco Diva. It has rose gold hex glitter and fine holo silver glitter in it, and it looks absolutely stunning, although that doesn't translate too well on the pics. Definitely worth getting from the Rimmel Holiday 2014 collection, although I think they all are pretty interesting ones there.

And here are swatches for them, although you'll see better ones once I use these actually on my nails. But you'll get an idea what these look like.

Have you bought any of these, or any other nail stuff lately? ♥

Now, I gotta go get something to eat before bed so that I can get a good night's sleep before facing another Monday. Tomorrow I'll be picking up a fun little cosmetics package that I was supposed to get on Friday, but the mailman had a bit different idea about that. I guess that happens when you have too much work to take on, so I'm not even that upset (anymore, but you should've seen me on Friday). So that's something I will swatch this week, probably tomorrow, even. If I get a proper lighting setting up, that is. But talk to you tomorrow anyways!

Have a lovely day you all ♥

Plaid Is The Thing ♥

Hey guys!

How are you all? ♥

It's almost weekend, and here in Finland, it's Independence Day the day after tomorrow. We have plans to spend that with our friends/relatives, which should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow, I'm having my project class again for the whole day, which is pretty exciting because we're starting properly do stuff (on idea level, at least) which to me equals learning stuff. Can't wait to see what we will do.

I can also proudly say, that I have been more inspired with the blogging things lately, so expect quite many posts this month. There will be hauls, nail art stuff, hopefully my second ever video and all sorts of fun things. But today, I just wanted to share an outfit post.

A week ago, on Saturday, we visited Pori as we were seeing my man's relatives for the day, and so, we figured we should check out the new mall Puuvilla. Puuvilla opened this October, and it is a nice combo of brand new and traditional. It's located where there once was a fabric factory, and the buildings around it are quite old.

I absolutely love the fact they have kept old brick walls inside, and have managed to incorporate bricks in the modern design as well. And the Christmas lights on the ceiling are just perfect. I think it's cool to have something new like this in Pori, even though we don't live there. But we visit often enough to need fun places to meet people around the town and not just at everyone's homes.

DSC03655 (Large)

Call me crazy, but I seriously love that kind of walls so much. I didn't take too many pics as we didn't spend too much time there, but wanted to kinda give you an idea of the style of the building. There are many shops and restaurants around, so if you ever visit Pori, you should definitely check out Puuvilla.

My outfit for the day was kinda simple, playing with plaid, black, red and such. We found this nice outside view to take pics against, and we had daylight! That seems like such a luxury these days.

Coat: Boohoo
Scarf: Cubus
Jeans: Gina Tricot
Boots: Skobox
Bag: Mango
Shirt: H&M Men
Belt: Pieces
Top: Primark
Necklace: Gina Tricot
Bracelets: Gina Tricot

So I tried to wear a plaid shirt, and quite liked it, although I would prefer flannel over real shirts as it doesn't get as crinkled. But for now, that I don't have flannel ones, this was pretty nice. I actually stole this shirt from my man when he was throwing out old clothes. With a belt, it nearly looks like a good size for me. And if you follow me on Instagram, you probably know how obsessed I am with the scarf here. I wear it daily. It's so comfy and pretty!

But how do you like this look? Let me know in the comments below!

I'm gonna head to a quick shower now, after which I should try to get some sleep so I can be the most productive, innovative version of myself tomorrow morning. And today, I will also have a little cosmetics related stuff up which I'm pretty excited about! So talk to you later.

Have a fantastic day, dolls ♥

Lights ♥

Hey lovelies!

How are you all? ♥

I've been doing all sorts of stuff today, and only opened laptop to post this quick post for you. As Christmas is drawing closer, I felt like having lights all over the house is a must. And because they are so pretty, I thought I could share them with you so we can all feel the prettiness and Christmas spirit. If that makes any sense. But without further blabber, I wanna show you our winter/Christmas lights!

I absolutely love having lights everywhere, and I literally have so many I don't even need to have the actual lamps on to see around the apartment when it's dark. And I still feel we could have a couple of more. I'm going crazy, probably. On Friday, we're planning on putting up our tree, so we'll see if I need to get a set or two of lights so that I don't have to take off any that I have already. I don't know what my man thinks about that, either. I will maybe have to sell the idea to him.

Do you have the lights/other Christmas decoration up already?

So, that's my quick little post today, and I hope you guys liked it. I'm currently trying to make my nails dry up so that I could finish the nail art. Like really, the struggle of nail artists... But anyway, I'll talk to you again soon.  Love you darlings!

Have a lovely day ♥

Day With Me ♥

Hi everybody!

I hope you're doing well today ♥

On last Friday, I decided to take my camera with me everywhere I went. It's been a while since I last did a "Day With Me" post. So, welcome to follow me around!

DSC03615 (Large)

My day started at 7 am, waking up way too early in my opinion. But I had to, because I had a class to go to. So after few minutes of struggling to get up, I finally managed to do so, and get dressed.

Day's outfit was this and combat boots - but more pictures of that on another post. I felt like wearing an easygoing look with plaid that day, even though I knew my day would be quite short.

Then, a quick makeup before getting to the bus. There you can see some of my everyday products. (And if you'd like to see a better everyday routine, just let me know!)

Elevator selfie, because I love to be lame like that. I know most of you have done the same. ;)

At school, we have a class called "Business with Project", which I took on a whim when my friend F told me she would be going as well. And, as I'm so not a morning person, some tea was absolutely needed. And I know I might be weird, but I really love lipstick stains on coffee mugs. Somehow there's something that makes me wanna photograph them. Yes, I know, I'm odd.

At noon, I headed home. While spending a moment outside when it's daylight time, I was inspired to take some pictures. I should do that more so I could become better at it.

As much as I love, and usually always listen to rock, on Fridays I often feel like something a bit lighter that might make me dance. So I chose the pop list from my Jango Radio and enjoyed.

DSC03630 (Large)

At home, I made myself a cup of tea, and started reading posts from my Bloglovin' feed. I would love to read more blogs, but with the schedule I have now together with all the time I need to spend on computers with school stuff, it's probably no wonder I don't want to open the laptop every time I have a breather. But on weekends and days off, I luckily have time for that as well.

When my man got home, we ate a little something and then played some rounds of Mario Kart Wii U. It's a new game for us (although we have played older versions) so that was pretty exciting. If you didn't already know, I'm a bit nerdy at times. While I don't play too games too well, I still love playing the easier ones. And NHL, which for me isn't the easiest of all, but still, I'd say it's an easy one. I would love to be better at gaming, but I doubt I'll ever be.

20141128_180307 (Large)DSC03640 (Large)

And of course the ones who know me/follow me on Instagram, probably know I'm so addicted to that app. I love pretty pictures so it's the right one for me. I'm also otherwise pretty addicted to my phone, which is a bad habit I'm trying to lose a bit - we'll see how that goes though. Anyone else out there who feels the need to post daily on IG? Anyone?

DSC03642 (Large)DSC03646 (Large)

Because it was the start of the weekend, I made my favorite snack, parmesan cheese popcorn. I could live on that stuff for months. But you know, I know better. That was the perfect snack for watching some TV and all with my man.

DSC03647 (Large)

And after that, more gaming and blogging. Not too exciting day at all, but such a typical Friday for me (though you can often add 1-3 friends into the mix). I know many people think that all bloggers go to crazy events all the time, but I'm not that kinda girl, just a regular student at least for now. And I love my "boring" kind of days. Although, if I would be partying, I might not have my camera with me so that it doesn't get broken.

Finally after midnight, I got all things done and was ready to bed. As I'm typing this I realized that even with this much love for food, I completely forgot to photograph almost everything I ate that day. But don't worry, I do eat. A lot. Before falling asleep, I usually watch some YouTube videos. I know I should prefer reading to better my sleep, but you know, bad habits. Although I'm guessing I will take up more reading as that is necessary for at least one of my classes this spring.

That's how a day with me looked like today. I think the previous one I did had more exercise in it than this one, but I kinda wanted to show you my typical couch potato day. Because I'm too lazy to do more than walking and stretching every day.

In the comments below, let me know what you think about this post ♥ You can also leave requests for future post as I am open to hearing your wishes.

But now, I'm gonna go see a couple of videos before getting to sleep. Tomorrow, I only have an evening class so it's basically like having a day off - which I love. That gives me time to go for a little jog and do all kinds of fun things. Talk to you as soon as possible, honeys!

Have a fabulous day ♥

Let's be friends in IG!
